She rudely says ok so why are you here today. No bedside manner at all. Then when I was about to leave I was waiting for the pharmacy notification to see if my meds were ready the front desk lady tells me the service is not that good here you should go outside. Signal was fine I strongly suspect she was trying to get rid of me because when she said that she walked away from me. Very unprofessional. Not even a have a nice day or a feel better. Won't be coming back to this one again. No bedside manner and they rush you out the door for no reason. I'm sick and perhaps I didn't want to step outside in the heat again so soon. The security guard was a sweetheart though so five stars to her but not to the people in the office.

I returned on Monday because a piece of gauze was stuck in place and it hurt when I tried to remove it. Tiera, Chris, and Shawna worked on my legs to dress my wounds painlessly ~ what a wonderful team! We've headed to Forest Hills Urgent Care when we need a doctor for years and I'm grateful to have them directly across the street.

I have been a patient at this practice for over 10 years. While waiting in the exam room, I was feeling anxious and warm (it was over 80 degrees outside), so I pulled my hoodie off one shoulder to cool down. When the doctor entered the room with what appeared to be two nurses in training, the very first thing he said to me was, "Cover yourself up appropriately." I was completely taken aback and embarrassed by this comment. It immediately made me feel judged and ashamed, and I found it difficult to focus on the rest of the appointment because I was so upset. No patient should be made to feel uncomfortable or shamed about their appearance, especially in a medical setting where they should feel safe and respected. After more than a decade as a patient, this encounter completely shattered the trust and sense of respect I believed existed between myself and this practice. Unfortunately, because of how I was treated, I will not be returning to this practice. For context, I have attached a photo showing how I was dressed at the time. Given the 82-degree weather and the fact that I had simply moved my hoodie off one shoulder while waiting alone in the exam room, I do not believe the doctor's comment was warranted.

She called them today to ask if she could be given an appointment a bit closer to home for us than what they'd initially set up - and was told that there might be another option in Queens. We asked for the address of said place in Queens. Kinda important, since we're dealing with a foot fracture and can't move around super easily. At least the block or thereabouts. The lady on the phone flat out REFUSED to give us the address, despite being asked THREE TIMES "please let us know what the address of this place is, so we can see how to get there". Every time she'd avoid giving us a straight answer, almost aggressively. Somehow, someway, the person on the phone simply would not provide a geographical location/address - and doubled-down by telling my wife "if you don't make a decision now, and if you have to cancel the appointment, you'll be in trouble later". We'd completely understand if there were some rule or regulation keeping her from giving us a street address - but she never mentioned anything along those lines.
