Best Auto Shop Experience I've Ever Had - Truly Like Family…read more I don't usually write long reviews, but this experience absolutely deserves it. I started calling around because my brakes were squeaking, just doing price checks like anyone would. RT Barrett Auto Sales was only the second place I called but something about his spirit over the phone made me stop right there. I didn't even feel the need to keep calling other places. That alone says a lot. When I arrived, I was greeted by Ron and his wife, and from that moment on, the energy was nothing but warm, welcoming, and genuine. They were both incredibly kind, and you can just tell they truly love what they do. The shop itself? CLEAN, organized, and comfortable. Not your typical auto shop at all. They had a TV set up, asked what me and my son wanted to watch (my son is autistic, so that meant a lot), and we ended up enjoying SpongeBob and Madagascar together. They also had a fridge stocked with drinks, name-brand snacks like Lays chips, pretzels, and even a big jar of candy. It honestly felt more like a welcoming space than a waiting room. Now let's talk about the service... Ron and the other mechanic (I wish I remembered his name!) were AMAZING. What stood out to me the most is that they didn't just fix my car. They educated me. Ron took his time explaining everything about my brakes, fluids, and how my car operates in a way I've never experienced before. It was so detailed and clear, almost like a class. If he ever offered one, I would sign up immediately! I also really appreciated his honesty. He was straightforward in the best way respectful, but real. I'm someone who values constructive feedback, and he delivered it in a way that made me feel informed, not judged. What's crazy is just days before this, I was telling a friend how badly I wished I could find a mechanic I could trust. I've had a couple of cars since I was 21 and have been to plenty of shops but THIS place? This is the first time I truly felt comfortable. It honestly felt like home. Ron, his wife, and his team don't just provide a service they care. And that's rare. I grabbed extra business cards because I will be recommending them to everyone I know, especially women like me who may not know much about cars but deserve honesty, respect, and quality care. If they ever move locations, I will gladly drive to wherever they are--no question. To me, they are not just the best shop in Youngstown... they are the best, period. Thank you all so much. I truly can't put into words how much I appreciate you. You've gained a lifelong customer--and honestly, it feels like I gained a new family.

I dealt…read morewith Mark and inwish inbound have seen the less than 2 star reviews, and complaints about Mark specifically before doing business with them. The deal was negotiated entirely via text, we came to an agreement of OTD pricing, sale price tax shipping and a detail thrown in. The contract he sent me to sign then didnt match the detailed bill he sent me by $550. When I called this out he then reworked it and changed it to the correct bill which I signed. He attempted to collect a 3% fee on a $5000 dollar downpayment before I demanded an ach link with no fee. After 2 weeks of asking where my car was after no delivery I was told to sign another contract for hundreds more before the car would be released. Reluctantly they had my money already so I did. During negotiations I specifically asked about paint and interior conditions, to which he replied there were no scratches dents or interior issues and "stood by it 100%". Upon receiving the car there was a 3 inch scratch exposing metal on the door. A gash in the buper, a washed undercarriage and rim. The leather was very worn in the driver seat, and backseat where a childseat had been for im guessing years. There were cheerios in the seatbelt crease, this car was not cleaned let alone detailed. When I closed the moonroof cover which was delivered open, there was an 8 inch brown smear that was obviously an attempted cover. When i complained i was offered 250$ to sign a fill release of liability. Which doesnt even cover what they got out of me withbthe hostage second contract. I refused and filed a complaint with the ohio AG, and BBB. In which they refused to make right, even claimed that all of the damage was disclosed in a video walk through, which never happened. And claimed that it was in the original listing, which they could no longer find as was not available.

They took the vehicle back in to fix it, which I was grateful for. I picked it up and halfway home, the engine light came back on and the tire pressure system warning light was back! I I am also not sure about the warranty as I haven't received paperwork yet and there is a rattle that I would love to have fixed considering it's going to take a tear down on the engine because a mechanic suggested it may be a timing issue...Ugh! Happy push your purchase home day. This time, they didn't fix the tire pressure system even though I was told they ordered the part and.were going to fix it. After they fixed the wiper, I drove home and it went out in the rain!!! I called again about the engine light being on again due to a cam sensor that they said was replaced. Then, I was told they didn't offer to fix the tire pressure system and now I should use the warranty that I have no information on to fix what they SAID they fixed. But wait!!! I was then told that they didn't have a regular mechanic and they just had someone who could put parts on. I kid you not!!!! How safe does that sound? Who knows what you're going to be driving (or pushing or towing) home?!!! Buying a used car can be one of two experiences. Unfortunately, mine is the horror story and not the cool " lets take a road trip" story. Dang guys, live and learn and be careful who you do business with!! Make sure somebody puts you in a safe vehicle. Ohio has great vehicle fraud laws, thank goodness!!! Thanks for reading my rant and hopefully you won't be one of the ones that"s pulled in by these guys!!

The Chevy dealership recommended them bc they didnt work on foreign diesel cars. So this shop took us right in and started investigating how to fix my problem quickly. They located a part for me which was a problem all in itself, got it ordered and installed. They offered me a loaner car so I wasn't stuck at the shop all day and gave me a recommendation of where we could go to relax for a while. Just great service! Only one down side was that in the rush to get a stranded mom out of there (I begged to get this done asap) something happened to my oil level sensor. They had thought that it was possibly wet and it would stop giving me a problem but unfortunately while I was at my final destination it just completely stopped reading my levels. They had told me that I had an oil leak so that caused a concern for me to drive the vehicle bk home with no sensor to read the oil. They offered for me to stop on the way back but I would have been passing through after they closed on a Sat. So I had to have it fixed at a location where I was. Armando's hourly rate was quite high but I really didn't have much of a choice and I was assured I was in good hands so that made it sting a bit less. But when I had to get that sensor fixed because the clip got messed up during the alternator fix it was definitely frustrating. I do wish they would have looked at it better before I left but they had done so much for me already and it was past closing time he said. All in all I would go to them again. They were extremely kind, knowledgeable and empathetic. I'm sure if I wasn't stranded and they had more time I wouldn't have had a problem with the oil sensor. Just sucked having to pay to get that fixed also. I'm sure you will be happy with their service if you needed.

Before purchasing I noticed water in the glove compartment and asked Talal about it. He said it was cleaner from having the car detailed (the car has not been detailed) and an employee of his stuck his fingers in the water smelled them and said "lemon" Talal did the same and said "yes it's lemon". On the way off the lot I found a bad connection with the rear window controls in the driver seat, Talal looked at it and showed they worked from the back, and to call him Saturday to order the part. After an hour drive back to Akron I discovered that Talal's employee had slashed and scratched the window tint in both of the back windows attempting to remove adhesive after I purchased the vehicle likely with a razor blade. Last night at around 7:30 I was driving and noticed the check engine light had come on, after further inspecting the vehicle I noticed RAIN WATER WAS LEAKING IN THROUGH A PART OF THE UPHOLSTERY ON THE ROOF CONNECTING TO THE PASSENGER DOOR INTO THE AC VENT AND FILLING THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT! After calling this morning I spoke with Willy who told me he'd have Talal call me when he got in as he was the car owner. Talal called back promptly and after explaining the problems I've been having with the car he told me that I needed to bring it in Friday as that would be when he could have it worked on, adding "it's no problem". Talal told me he's been here 30 years from doing honest business when selling me the car. May update review at a later date.

DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP--DECEPTIVE SALES & ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY…read more I would give zero stars if I could. My mother is a 68 year old retired RN who purchased a van from Haus Auto Group with the intention of traveling across the country, visiting national parks. Instead, she has spent months dealing with a nightmare--costly repairs, misleading information, and complete disregard from the dealership. The van was misrepresented from the start. It was advertised as a Flex Fuel Chevy Express, which she paid a premium through the dealership's vendor to have delivered to her in Texas. Upon delivery, she discovered it was actually a VIA Motors VTRUX hybrid--a vehicle that very few mechanics can service due to software restrictions that a quick Google search will confirm was a complete failure for GM. The hybrid battery failed 3 days after she accepted delivery of this vehicle, and despite taking it to multiple shops, no one has been able to fix it. Additionally, the van has significant rust issues that were not disclosed at the time of sale. They haven't even honored their own guarantee and reimbursed her for what she spent in repairs the first month she owned it. My mother repeatedly reached out to Chris Haus, asking for assistance or a buyback, as she unknowingly purchased a vehicle that is essentially undrivable, and the vehicle delivered is not the vehicle she purchased. Communication has been slow, dismissive, and filled with empty promises. Every time she pushed for a resolution, she's been met with excuses or silence. Meanwhile, she's still making payments on a van that she cannot use. This dealership sold her a branded title vehicle without proper disclosure, failed to ensure it was in working condition, and has done nothing to make this right. She spent her life savings on what was supposed to be her dream vehicle, only to be stuck with an expensive, useless burden. If you value honesty, integrity, and accountability, DO NOT BUY FROM HAUS AUTO GROUP. I strongly urge anyone considering a purchase here to take their business elsewhere.
