Everything is wired correctly but the Box doesn't fit in like it's supposed to. Down facing speakers and the speakers sit on the floorboard so the sub is muffled. And that's just the half; they stole over 1k in cash out my truck and still haven't mentioned a word of it going on 4 days since I picked up the truck. I mean silly me for leaving money in MY truck; but guess they needed it more than I did. I was looking to get a CarPlay installed in my 2014 Honda CRV, I bought the part because I didn't need an expensive one and they said last week they would be able to do it for $175. I agreed and said I'd call back once I got the part. Called back today, a week later, and said I got the part and then they quoted me $275 because it has a camera. Then once I said I was originally quoted $175 he then tried to sell me a $775 Sony system even though I said I already had the part. Although they increased the amount I said "okay I'll just do the $275 installation, are you available today?" and he said "yes", but he didn't say any specific time so I said "any time?" and it was followed by silence and then they hung up on me. Thought maybe the call dropped but I've still received no call back. I never leave reviews but as someone who works in service that was just rude and unprofessional.

My son, who the install would be for, took components to show and was basically told that after spending $1000 for everything, we actually had junk and tried telling him he needed several other high dollar items, which I know for a fact we don't need, especially if we weren't going for loud thumping bass and I purchased everything we needed for a CarPlay, tweeters for the front doors, back main speakers and a kicker sub/amop box with all wiring, harnesses and additional hardware. After he saw items and tried charging for other unneeded components his price went from a couple hi dollars to a grand - I know for a fact Best Buy can and will do it for $300 currently but I have to wait over a month to get work done. Next time, Joe, ask what your potenti customers are wanting out of the new system and don't insult their purchase...not a way to win loyal or even first time customers.I mean, if you were looking for good tips to be suc that is. I had almost fooled myself into believing that they were toast and that was a good enough reason for me to go in debt and replace them. After speaking with my man Javi (Store manager) I decided to allow Luminex the opportunity to bring them back to life with a new gun metal powder coat with clear. Might as well go ahead and have them put some Candy Apple Red on the brake calipers while exposed. Couldn't be more happy with the finish product. I had an appointment on a Saturday morning at Alpha (sister shop) but when I arrived, it was…read moreclosed. I texted the main number and got an immediate call back from Mo over at Luminex who apologized and ask me to come to the Luminex shop and they would get me taken care of. The shops are within a mile of each other so no trouble at all. I purchased a Groupon for the Nano Ceramic on the front two windows. I saw a previous review that stated Groupons can only be used during the week. I did not have this experience. There were no issues using it at all. Note: Groupons are good for I believe 35% tinting. You can upgrade this for$50. Mo was great in showing me all options and even let me look through the back windows of his car so I could see the amount of light blockage. It was overcast at the time so it was super helpful because it made me realize, what I wanted to do for my back windows would be much too dark for my vision issues and night time driving. He wasn't pushy or tried to upsell aggressively as some places normally would. In the end, I decided to only do my front windows and windshield to start with. I wanted all windows to be uniform so did 20% on the front windows to match the back, 70% on the windshield and added a 5% strip in the top 6 inches of the windshield. Great news is that there's a 3 year warranty! So I was able to purchase worry free! The windshield was $175 and the added strip was $50. The prices are great in comparison to what I've paid for tinting on other SUVs. From the outside it looks excellent. From the inside you definitely feel the temperature and light difference. Right now it still needs to cure so there are some blurry spots but I was assured with leaving it in the sun for as long as I can this would clear up. Tips I was given was to not roll the windows down, don't use the defroster, and only use the foot level AC for a few days. It's also really nice they placed a DO NOT ROLL DOWN sticker across the window buttons as a reminder. If the tinting doesn't clear up, I'll comeback and amend the review but I have all faith that they will be great! Thanks, Mo! Oh I also have to mention that I booked my original appointment with Ali who was great at explaining all options and didn't rush me to get off the phone.
