Perfect place to bring a bent rim, whether it's a Tesla or a Kia. I saved about $600 on them reshaping a front bent rim rather than replacing it. This was an alloy rim so they did it all on-site and had it for me the next day. MY FIRST AND LAST TIME AT TRAFFIC JAMS BUFORD. I ordered weather guards for my windows and had a bad experience throughout the whole process. When I walked in I was not greeted and was never asked to be helped. After finally asking for help we ordered the weather guards and that's all, no discussing installment or anything in that matter. I come in to receive the order and I asked about installment, they didn't seem like they wanted to do it (a man with a salt and pepper beard) but eventually said they will take care of it. Personally I've never been here before so I don't know how the business works but after paying $130 for weather guards I assumed the installment was included. They had other plans and decided to surprise me with a $70 installment fee for something that took 10 minutes. When told the price my initial reaction was surprised and was immediately and disrespectfully asked if I expected it to be free (the salt and pepper beard guy). After a comment like that it was in my best interest to just pay and leave respectfully. Lesson learned, they won't tell you about anything ESPECIALLY prices unless YOU ask them. read more

They order the parts wrong twice and wanted to blame me for the order. Had to order special parts to install the stereo no problem. Bought the special piece that was suppose to control my radio with the steering wheel. The telephone sounded like crap had to take it back for them to fix it, and that's when they told that I would have to spend more money to have the steering wheel work with the system. Prices seem to always going up and they don't have the knowledge to install a system on a complex install without making mistakes that cost you more out of your pocket. Contacted Traffic Jams to get a quote / proposal for a in dash radio upgrade on an older Mercedes. Spoke to Ron. He indicated it would be roughly a $400 labor install plus parts. He indicated he would follow up with me after he familiarized himself with the needed parts and accessories and overall job. Did not hear back from him. Had to follow up several times via email and phone. Even did research for him to provide him with some knowledge on this vehicle's install needs. Sent over links to blogs and youtube videos to make it easier. Still no response. finally spoke again on the phone and asked for an official quote / proposal for the job. Received the proposal at $3300. A LONG way off from the $400 labor and roughly 1300 for parts. I looked at the first item on the proposal (the stereo unit itself quoted at $1200). Decided to do a quick search and quickly determined it was an $800-$900 unit all day long at any website. Decided to stop looking right there. Crazy mark up on an easy, readily available part, and additional line items with ridiculous mark ups. Not too mention the fact that this guy did not see to know that much or was to responsive and/or helpful. I read some reviews about this place and decided to give them a try. My experience was a shitty one and i would not do business here. I hope you do better. read more

Where do I begin? I originally came to have a pioneer double din unit installed in my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Traffic Jams installed it with no issue. Fast, efficient and extremely competitive pricing. Fast forward almost 1 year later. The unit itself began to malfunction. I went to Best Buy where I had bought the unit and they told me I would need to uninstall it, send it off to the manufacturer, and wait. That means riding around with an empty space in my dash and no music to listen to; not happening. THIS IS WHERE IT GETS GOOD. I called Traffic Jams just to leave a voicemail on a Saturday night at 9pm hoping it would be the first voicemail they got Monday morning. 5 minutes later I got an email from the owner/manager (Ron) saying to bring it in on Monday and they'd take a look at it. Stellar customer service! To add to, I already had plans to lift my Jeep, install new wheels and tires, fix a tear in the leather on the driver seat AND install a new muffler. Traffic Jams handled ALL OF IT. Jamille was my go-to guy. I can be high maintenance when it comes to my vehicle since I've invested so much money into it over the years. He handled my questions and concerns with ease. If he didn't already have a job with Traffic Jams, I'd hire him on the spot. If you're considering any kind of work done to your vehicle, don't hesitate to take it to Traffic Jams. They know what they're doing and the back up their work 100%. ** Update ** Even though we are still disappointed in how everything happened, Traffic Jams has tried very hard to make things right. They are installing the steering wheel module at no cost to us. We appreciate it. Had them install an aftermarket stereo. However we were told we needed to purchase a specific module in order to get it to work with the buttons on the steering wheel. They ordered the wrong parts, twice. And then tried to say we were at fault for the wrong module, that THEY ORDERED FROM THEIR STORE, and we would need to spend more on a different module. The Bluetooth phone sounded horrible and we got eyerolls when we immediately brought it back after we picked it up. Prices kept going up to fix things. NOT happy! Should have gone to Best Buy. read more

First it took them over 5 minutes to acknowledge my presence even though I said hello as soon as I walked in...Anthony was explaining something to me in a very passive aggressive way that was intentional by making me feel like an idiot. I will began by saying it takes a lot for me to put something like this out there. This occurred in December 2019 as I felt I should not put something out there being upset and after dealing with a competitor I felt this would now be appropriate. I am a 49 year old local professional with my own business. My family and I are long time Buford residents and believe in supporting local businesses. I came to this store as I had conducted business with them in the past. To my chagrin the ownership had changed, and as you will soon discover, not for the better. I will also preface this by saying that the employees at this store are great. They conduct themselves professionally and are very helpful. I originally went in for a simple job of installing resistors in my youngest sons vehicle's blinkers as I had swapped out all the lights with LEDs. While there I saw a subwoofer box that was on sale and decided to buy it for my other son as his Christmas present. They said they were out at the time and would order one. When I went back to pick up my vehicle and the price that was originally quoted for the resistors DOUBLED. No heads up, no phone calls. I asked why and they said it was more complicated then they thought. I was frustrated as I did not agree with the process and paid my tab and left. i came back a few days later to pick up the subwoofer box and began asking questions about the installation being the price I was quoted included and this and I have limited knowledge about the process. The owner over heard me speaking to his employee and became very angry. He came around the desk and began pointing his finger in my face and yelling. He said the subwoofer box I bought was not correctly marked and I did not understand the amazing deal I was getting and should just be happy with what I was getting. In transparency, I don't take being yelled at and bullied very well. I began yelling back saying that it was not my problem and as the customer I should be able to ask questions and understand the service I am paying for. He went back around the front desk and began speaking to his employee regarding me in third person telling him to refund my money and he was not going to sell me the subwoofer box. Being as how I had already paid for it I said I would take the subwoofer box somewhere else to be installed. He then stated that he was refunding my money, despite it was already my property, and said if I took it and left he would call the Sheriff's Department and report me as a thief! I was shocked, I did not know what to say. Then after about 10 seconds of silence, he said to take the subwoofer box and that he did not want my business. I replied this was the perfect solution as I felt the same way. I then went to REAL TIME AUDIO & ACCESSORIES (678-960-4540) located just 10 minutes away in Braselton. I dealt with Jake and these guys were awesome. Did an amazing job, and further more appreciated my questions and even brought my son and I into the bay to demonstrate how the install would be done. They did such a great job on my sons car I decided to have them install a subwoofer in my vehicle to compliment my factory system. I would highly recommend Real Time Audio and will never darken the doorsteps of Traffic Jams again. read more

Traffic jams has done several things for me and its rare to find the time to give a review but I feel like they have gone over and above every time I bring any of my vehicles in and any of the absurd amount of custom ideas I present to them they always seem to exceed and or add something that takes it over the top. They have done custom interior work for me, they have done paint work for me, they have done motor work for me, they have done wheels and tires, and also stereo stuff from small to large. I do have to mention the amount of help they gave me on one scenario where I bought c7 jl audio door speakers online for the front and back of one of my vehicles waited about 2 months to install and found out they were defective and I had past the time frame to return so now I'm stuck with very expensive door speakers that are nothing but paper weights. I took my stuff to traffic jams explained my situation and seeing they are a jl audio dealer they gave me a great price on the speakers and installed them with ease. I hate I paid for them twice and should have gone to them first instead shopping online for the best price when reality they gave the best price. Needless to say all the staff was helpful and knowledgeable. They even gave me a ride to get back home. Before pulling the trigger on the online deal definitely call traffic jams and give them a chance before you spend more trying to save and then losing. Love these guys. Came in to get my 2012 BMW 750i M lowered. Guys took a look at the job and gave me what I thought was a reasonable price. I dropped it off the following day to get the work done. The team looked at my vehicle and called me, as they had a few concerns. They didn't want to do anything to the vehicle that would cause damage or harm to the suspension (they actually cared). We worked together, did some research, made a few discoveries and one week later, we got the job done! It only took a couple hours to do it and the car looks great.
