We could not get the back speakers to work on a new Ford Transit. Upon checking, the Auto Addition owner figured it was just the matter of reprogramming the control. Went in back in February for a new windshield on my buick my fiance gave me. Got it back, did a good job and what not. Fast forward to now (June) my fiance asks me when I got a new battery because his less than a year old interstate battery was replaced with a walmart battery, which I didn't do. We do all the work in both our vehicles, with the exception of the windshield, so that is the only time my car was in a position to have the battery swapped. Went in to talk to the owner or whatever and he said they don't swap batteries. But who would admit that anyways, and for all we know whoever may have done it may not even work there anymore.... I'm just saying, we both know for absolute certain the battery was swapped and it had to have happened there, but it's their words against ours and all. So this is just a warning to keep an eye on what you have when it goes in there. read more

I had a groupon for car detailing. I have no little kids, no pets and I don't smoke so I didn't think it would be that hard. The only thing I pointed out was that I would like to have the old college decals removed from the back windshield. They did that, but when I inspected the windshield a little more thoroughly, there was some residue left. I figured, if they got most of it, they could have gotten all of it. They didn't get all the grease from the door jambs, the inside CD console was not cleaned out. I just feel now as though I got what I paid for, half a job. I should have known better. And that fragrance almost made me pass out! I was told it would take 4-5 hours. It was done in 3. I think I would have preferred they take more time to do a better job. I will not visit there again. read more

Also had a Groupon for detailing and decided to have them fix some window chips while I was there. 8 hours and a couple hundred bucks later, I still have every window chip that I asked them to fix and my car isn't any cleaner than I could have done myself. read more

I had my girlfriend schedule an appointment to tint a new window that was replaced on my car (it was broken into) and get a car alarm installed. She called because she said there family does business there often and they could get a discount (which seems unfair to me). She told me the appointment was scheduled for Tue. at 4 (I think) which was good. Then the Sat. before the appointment she reminded me that my appointment was for 5 on Tue. I said I thought it was for 4, and she said no, they just called to confirm it for 5 on Tue. When I arrived at the store on Tue. at 4:30, it took the guy behind the counter 3 min to find my name on their schedule. Then once they did, they said they only had me written down for a window tint and knew nothing about a car alarm. I said I didn't call to make the appointment, but my girlfriend told me it was going to be $200 and the guy she talked to said they wouldn't be done at closing time (6:00) but would stay after to finish it. They couldn't do this though, so I said let's just tint the window tonight then and reschedule the car alarm for Sat. The guy went back and talked to someone and came back and said they didn't have time to do the tint tonight either because my appointment was for 4 and not 5, and blamed me for it when I told them about the confirmation call. Even though I should have left right then, I just rescheduled everything for Sat. On Sat. they said that it would be done around 12:00 and they would call me. 1:30 rolled around and so I called and they said they were almost done and I could head up. I didn't have a ride at the time (although I did at noon) and so they called at 2:15 to ask if I was going to pick it up that day. I said I was waiting on a ride and asked what time they closed. The guy responded and said, "We closed at noon, we're just waiting on you." I was stunned. After I picked it up I rushed out because I was running late and so i didn't realize it until after I had left, but the window tint on the driver side didn't remotely match the passanger side. Imagine being at a stoplight and looking left, and then right through two different shades of tint. As you can imagine, this was annoying enough that I had to call back on Mon. to deal with them again. The guy who answered assured me that the tint was the same but I could bring it up and they would look at it. So I did just that and he finally admitted that it was different, and so I could either have them redo it to closely match the passanger side (although they wouldn't be the same because the passanger tint had faded due to years of sunlight, something that was failed to be mentioned previously), or they would retint the passanger window to match the driver window for $35 (typically $70). As much as it frustrated me to do so, I had them redo the passanger window and paid another $35, and sat frustrated as could be in their "dismal waiting room" as another reviewer noted for a near three hours. In summary: I will never, ever go there again for anything and am going to make a point to make sure no one I care about ever goes there again as well. read more

Wife bought a detailing package on Groupon. They ran the car through a coin car wash and MAYBE spent 20 minutes on it, if the finished product is any indication. Outside still dirty. Floors barely vacuumed. Dirt still in all the cup holders and a dusty dash. The floor mats were clean, but don't move them and look underneath. Stupid on their part because I was getting ready to take 2 more vehicles for them to work on. Missed opportunity for them. Avoid!!! Not worth it at ANY price. read more

they did a terrible job detailing my vehicle. it was still dirty on the outside and inside and Dave the manager said they don't scrub, they just wash over and then wax. so they waxed over the dirt I could chip off with my nail! They must have also not put any effort into cleaning the door pockets or between the seats. He said they don't do anything different than anyone else in the business and he's been doing this for 5 years. Rest assured they won't be seeing my vehicle again. Ray Charles could have done a better job on this vehicle! read more
