Got hit last night from behind by a drunk driver going 50 miles an hour while I was stopped at a light. It was unexpected and needless to say it kind of suck pretty bad. My roommate crashed my BMW doing me a favor. I was home in bed recovering from major surgery. The entire situation was stressful. Due to the reviews I read online I called Auto body and spoke to Ken. I had my car towed to his shop. Once my insurance company went out and saw my car they totaled it out and I was unable to pay for the repairs. Being medically unable to go to the shop to clean out my car from my belongings i was trying to find someone to go clean out my trunk and glove compartment. My insurance company without telling me or the shop sent a tow truck to possess my car. it was no longer mine. Ken saw my car being taken and waved the tow truck down. He had them wait while he took all of my belongings out of my car for me and stored them in the office. What shop do you know that would ever do this? Especially, without me even thinking to ask. I bought another car a couple days later and had it delivered to my home on a Friday night. Still not being able to drive or go anywhere I went outside to look at my new metallic blue BMW Saturday morning and someone had backed into the drivers door and wrecked it. His above and beyond customer service along with his concierge service and amazing attention to detail made for an easy, no-stress experience. Step 2: Ken rented me a car to use during the speedy repair on the business account that would be later billed with my overall repairs. (I left my car with him on a Thursday and he had it back completely detailed to the nines by MONDAY! Incredibly fast service.) Given the reviews for their work, it sounds like their work and overall service is great. That being said I'll be reviewing my experience in getting a quote for work. I was initially told $1200 for a job, with it being $100 less for aftermarket parts. When I received the actual breakdown, suddenly it went up closer to $1300 with a vague explanation that their computers weren't always up to date with the costs of what they are charged... To help reduce costs, I inquired about the aftermarket parts which he had originally suggested, and was then told that OEM is the way to go, not aftermarket. Which makes me wonder why even bring that into the initial estimates in the first place? I was told the final price would be $1300, if I paid cash, due to the credit card processing fees. I have to say that I felt I was getting nickel and dimed left and right. I will say the pick up and drop off service is a convenient option, but I chose to go with another shop, who made the whole process way more transparent right from the start. read more

I had a hit and run while my car was parked on the street and had damage done to the front fender and bumper. Ken and Victor did an amazing job. I have aftermarket parts and so the regular OEM bumper doesn't fit without modification. Before the hit and run, I did the trimming to the bumper myself and added a mesh material because sections had to be removed. The mesh was held together with zip ties and while it looked decent from afar, it definitely looked amateur up close. Since the bumper couldn't be repaired, they got a brand new bumper and were able to customize it much better than I ever could. I have to say I love yelp and all the wonderful people and businesses I have met through the website/app. I had a typical moment in most peoples lives when life hands you a lemon. I parked on a residential street before work and a couple hours later I come out to see the resident of the house I parked in front of decided to place a bunch of large items out for trash. Most of it was kids toys and they had red paint on them. I looked at my white car and I saw the red mark on my rear passenger door. Now, I've only owned the car for like 5 months! I tried myself to rub it off with some toothpaste, and that did take away most of the red paint that was transferred.
