Hyundai across the street mentioned it would be $8000 in repairs and that they often see scammy practices by Auto Boutique, like swapping transmissions between incompatible used cars. We live in Cincinnati and I worked with Noe to get everything squared away, including pick up of the vehicle. Very scammy and shady place. Kept saying my car could be worth 5k while showing me cars outside my budget I kept telling them I did not want to finance any portion of a loan. I had a budget plus whatever my car was worth... They did not do the car appraisal until after the test drive... and told me my car was only worth 1k after showing me cars with the 5k "could be" worth cost. No, they did not promise 5k, but everyone kept telling me my car had money to it from online estimate to in person before the actual appraisal happened. I left in tears because they did this knowing I did not want to finance and had a budget it never did show me cars within my budget just with that oh what I had plus car worth at 5k. I was so excited to finally find my dream car when I saw on their website that they had a "2024 AWD Tesla model Y long range" I went to the boutique, saw the car after they drove me around on it because I forgot to bring my insurance with me. I decided to purchase it only to find out when I look into the car that it was just a regular "stardard model Y Tesla. I spoke to the person who sold me the car his name is "Robbi" and he told me that it was an honest mistake and that he'll fix it to bring the car in. when I got there they acted like I found the car from a 3rd party company who did not put the right informatio. But the price was way over a regular Tesla. I was furious but took the L. I decided to cancel the extended warranty on it because why pay extra on a car you don't want anymore. I told RobbI who I thought I could trust to cancel it, he sent me the form I signed it and he said he'll send it to the company and he never did. I followed up he told me he sent it the same day that it takes a couple of week After waiting for 2 months I decided to reach out to the company myself only to find out that he never did he lied to me for what? Commission I guess. for unfortunate of him to lose a potential loyal customer over selfishness. He decided not to answer my texts and just ignore me. I hope the comission was worth it. we purchased vehicle and warranty. Apparently the person who wrote the contract made errors. When we took the vehicle to BMW to get repaired. Per the contract, we could take the vehicle to any repair facility. BMW contacted the warranty company. They were told we had no coverage. We contacted the dealer in Columbus Ohio. They admitted that an error was made. They will honor the repairs if it was done at their facility. They towed my car from BMW to them. Car got sent to another place. Half the work was done there. Evans Automotive. The other half was done by them. This has now been going on for months. The car has never been diagnosed correctly and they just continue to replace parts that they feel was the problem. At first they were responsive. The car is still not right after them having it for close to 7 weeks. I have taken the service manager for a drive and showed him the issues. He agreed. Now they are telling me they have spent too much money and time on my car. Not my problem. I bought a warranty. They are now refusing to return phone calls. Went into the dealership to have a meeting with the service manager who has always been responsive and pleasant to deal with and some type of boss of the dealershi. Austin. I was told that me and my are are a pain in the ass. This coming from management. in a nutshell, he said what can we do to get rid of you. We agreed on a few things. Well, here we are. The car has the same issues the claimed to have fixed. Zero communication. I have sent multiple messages with no answer. We have had enough. They are an absolutely horrible company To deal with. After speaking with the warranty company, they said the dealer cancelled it. How many other people have had this coverage cancelled without their knowledge. We were in for service on a very recent purchase. A warranty contract was purchased. Vehicle has a couple of electrical items that were not working and the AC was not working at idle. classic compressor system. The AC was covered. the other items were the Peking assist system, they charge me $97 for that, claiming a wire was lose and they plugged it back in. the system was working, just intermittently shut off. they claimed it was not a covered repair and it was fixed in diagnoses time. the second item was a 12V plug was not working. they again claimed the plug was unplugged and charged me another $97. the AC system they said they had to order the part and they would call me to set up the next appointment. that first visit was around 3 hours. next issue. we never heard back about the part. we gave it two weeks and decided we would call, conveniently it was told to us the part came in just an hour before. they were about to call. we had to wait another two weeks for the appointment. appointment day. I arrived at 9:30. was told the repair was expected to be 3 hours. I confirmed twice this was the case. I had to wait on the vehicle and wanted to give my self an idea of how long I would be there. during that time I also asked to speak to the service manager. I questioned the previous repairs and pointed out that if the connectors were lose and they had to be repaired that they would be covered. He claimed the warranty denied them. I asked to see the inflation that was submitted. He never came back, instead sent the service rep out later to tell me they were refunding those repairs. I still don't know the outcome of why. It's now 4:08 and Im still sitting in the lobby. yep 6 1/2 hours later still waiting. At 3:24 I had interrupt the receptionists from her phone and ask for an update. 15 minutes later the service rep finally comes out to tell me it's still being worked on. They are putting the belts back on. Shouldn't be too much longer. This place is unprofessional. You have employees that have plenty of time to play on their phones, but can't jump on the work phones to update customers? Or even provide hourly updates to waiting customers. Awful. When a waiting customer had already expressed concern that they were upset about lack of communication, you would think a little extra effort would be helpful. Lastly. I inquired about an oil change while here. I was told it STARTS at $120. I obviously declined. Though part of me wonders how long that would have taken. I also wondered if they were filling the motor with gold? that's the craziest thing I've ever heard! Still sitting and waiting as this goes on, I think they close at 7. so we will see if I make it out before then. read more

Their prices are *unbeatable* because they force you to use their financing and mark up your rate. Incredibly shady business model and while not illegal - it should be IMO. I came in to look at vehicles with financing already arranged though my bank. After test driving multiple cars, the Manager "Austin" told me flat out they would not sell me a car unless I financed through them. I walked and found a dealership the same day that was more than happy to use my lender. I can only imagine what other shady business practices these people engage in. read more

Don't know everybody's financial situation or credit score but, 0 issues for me. I bought my car a month ago and 0 issues and runs great! I walked in and had to show the lady at the front desk my insurance card. I then met the car sales man and showed me the car fax report. I looked at all that before going there. Then he showed me the car. I declined to go over the car because I already know this vehicle from being in my family by someone else. They let me test drive it for 30 minutes. I then sat there and waited for financing guy. You have to fill out a link of questions they give you. Their financing rate was lower than my banks and I made my first payment last week. Smooth on all the paper work, and everything you agreed on with price and stuff is provided in paperwork to you. I declined the $3500 warranty and I declined the paint protection. You can hire a car detailer for less money to buff, wax/polish. I did go get standard service appointment done after I purchased the next day. read more

Not a good experience. Would not recommend. Took a long time, almost all day, to get purchase complete. Bought car on 3/8/24- A month later the car's engine light came on and began stalling. Update: car continued to have issues. Took it to a REPUTABLE mechanic who has been keeping us updated step by step. Apparently parts were installed with incorrect bolts/screws. Oil filter was horrible- oil was even worse!!! Mechanic thinks it's been rarely changed- if ever. So far estimate is over $1700 to fix! This 'dealership' is a joke! October 2024- Back into the shop, another $1000 put into it. Edit 12/20/24. (Just over 9 months owning) This car has been in the shop multiple times- codes ran, more parts replaced, more $ dumped into this lemon. Newest issue means it needs a new engine! This car has less than 90,000 miles on it! Don't trust this dealership! Make sure to have an outside mechanic go through a vehicle before buying from them!!! No stars are deserved- but had to give at least 1 to post. There is currently a lawsuit filed in Missouri against General Motors regarding the 2014-17 Chevy Equinoxes and GMC Terrains- apparently there is a known issue with these vehicles. read more

I purchased a car from Auto Boutique when it was at its previous location. It was a positive experience. Wanting another used I contacted them at the new location regarding a 2017 Impala Premier. A comedy of errors began. Since they claimed it was not possible to sale me the car and deliver it to my home at Polaris, for every appointment the response was the car was being serviced but they had six more on the lot. No manager would take my call. The salesperson claimed to try and see the car's status but hung up on me. At no time did I raise my voice or curse. I don't believe the car was ever available. I believe their purpose was to get me on the lot to sale me some other vehicle. This indicates their perception is the customer is a necessary evil. I went out to auto Boutique to look at a Chevy Equinox. The trouble began almost immediately when I mentioned we would be doing a substitution of collateral on my dad's bankruptcy. Basically they would be getting a check but the finance company that we had used for the original car needed to approve the purchase. That didn't sit well with the dealer because they normally don't provide any kind of documentation to buyers. Their reasoning? Our customers can take that and go to other dealers to try to lower their prices and they just don't do that. I've never heard of anything like that. Ever. Most dealers would be glad to provide a purchase order to a potential customer. I do not recommend Auto Boutique to anybody. I am now at Great lakes Kia finishing up a car purchase with a salesperson that I know respect and have dealt with before. She is completely understanding we have the buyers order in hand we are working out the paperwork and the check will be here on Monday my next review will be a great lakes kia. read more

I can't speak for the cars as I never made it that far. These people are CRAZY! I was interested in a Kia I saw online. We were all good until it came to financing. 24.9%! No way. That's more than double any of my other pre-approvals. When I said I would finance somewhere else they said they didn't do "outside financing." OK cool. I'll look elsewhere. The calls and texts and emails continued for days. They even tried submitting my application to other lenders AFTER I said no. I no longer wanted the car. Even if I would have taken the god awful intrest rate, the math was still off by about $3000. We drove 2 hours to come here and they let us sit for 5 hours before trying to talk us into a vehicle we didn't want. We gave them our price range, what we could afford, how much we were willing to put down, we're very transparent about our financial situation, and still were left just sitting there twiddling our thumbs. They kept saying that there was body damage, which they described as some light dings or dents. But that the banks wouldn't approve it because of that. However, but they then had us test drive a car that had very evident body damage and scratches. And we were very confused as to why the bank would not approve the car we wanted because of body damage that we couldn't see, but they were willing to sell us a car the wreaked of cigarette smoke, and that had very obvious dents, scratches, and needed work. This was not a good experience. They called us with offers for every vehicle accept the one we wanted. It goes to show that you can come as prepared as possible, we had all of our documents printed and proof of income, all the required documents and they still took their time. If you have 7 hours to spend here, then they'll get you into a car. But I don't have that much time to waste to get shoved into a car I didn't want. We took our business elsewhere and found a vehicle that is beyond what we could have asked for! read more

This may be the worst dealership in America. They have no consideration for your time. When they say no haggle they will have low prices on cars but not give you anything for a trade. I sat at the dealership for 10 hours and accomplished nothing at all. Drove a total of 4 hours. They do not work to get you into something I.e. better trade value or rates on loan. When I told them that the payment was a little too high for my budget they just said ok, have a great day. I have purchased from them twice before but I will never step foot back in there again. I purchased my Brand new Mazda CX-5 from this location. And the new location is absolutely breath taking. Not only is test driving , financing, and purchasing out right , an extremely easy going process here. The sales consultants here are top notch. I only see myself purchasing from them in the future for as long as I live by one of these locations. I took my father to Test drive a brand new Ram 1500 about half an hour before close, and they were swift with attaining the keys so we could test out the truck. They understand people need a few more hours after 5 pm to shop for vehicles, where other dealerships (Beyers, Ricart, Germain). Dealerships need to implement this business model. Or they're going to go under quickly. Very impressed and very happy with every experience I've had here. read more

My issue with them is they would have known this if they mechanically inspected it before selling, beware and ask for copy of thier inspection, if I would not have brought it back first week I would have been stuck with $2000 or more repair, I think they knew this problem when they sold me the vehicle. However I noticed a noise which they said they would have their service team look into, they added air to the tires and did an oil change. I took my vehicle for my own diagnostic since they offer 5 day/500mi guarantee. The truck needs a balance, front rotors & pads. I understand vehicles need/have maintenance, however I just purchase this - I'm not looking to put money into it already. Jon the general manager set up a service appointment, had his team inspected my F-pace and they made it right! He also arranged for my vehicle to be dropped off once the service was complete. We originally purchased a car from them in mid December and were told we would receive the navigation sim a couple days to a week later sent in the mail. 6 weeks and multiple phone calls later, still nothing. Management never called back after multiple messages nor do they answer the phone after waiting on hold for over an hour... so we finally posted my 1 star review online. This finally got their attention and a manager finally contacted us. Service was considerably much faster once a manager got involved and the sim arrive about a week later. So..... make sure you get everything you need up front before signing the dotted line, else you will most likely have a similar experience. Management will help, but you must first be able to reach them, which can be a pain if you live far away. read more

My daughter's friend is attending Ohio State and needs a car. I asked him what he recommended for small 4 cylinder gas efficient cars and he gave me several. She had her heart set on a versa but he said that wouldn't arrive for a few days. I told him we wanted to get on the waiting list for it. She drove the Audi A3 just for fun but it's not in her price range. She wants to wait on the versa and if not she will go with her 3rd choice the Ford Fusion. Either way she will be back. Truly, if I could leave -10 stars I would in a heartbeat. I made the mistake of requesting very specific information through a website that required I enter my phone number along with my email. RED FLAG! Not only did their internet sales guy, Marvin Salcedo, call me, he called multiple times - one at 6:10AM! I told him again then that I did not want phone calls, only email communication. Again, I had a very sump,e question, "What does BMW call this shade of blue?" Not only did I never receive an answer to my question, he emailed me that afternoon wanting to set up an appointment for me to come in. This morning I received ANOTHER phone call from Marvin Salcedo. I very slowly and deliberately told him NOT TO CALL ME In case English was a second language and he didn't understand me. I asked for the name of the owner of the company and all he would give me was "Alex" and would not provide a phone number except offering the company number. I then asked for the manager's name and after he fumbled around, I told him the man's name -Rob Thompson. Marvin Salcedo wouldn't give me that number either. He offered to put me through to "a manager" which of course, after waiting 12 minutes didn't happen. Then he told me that all the managers were in a meeting, just making stuff up as he went along. This guy is a liar and won't honor a customer's requests made more than once. I believe now that this was a an attempted bait and switch. I don't think that car in the photo with low mileage and a price too good to be true was in fact too good to be true. My next step is to report him and the dealership for harassment to the Better Business Bureau. Please don't spend your time on them! read more

First, the positives: My husband dealt with Shelby (an inside support person, not a salesperson) but she was by far the most helpful of anyone there. Now, the reason for poor review: My husband and I were looking for a nice car with low miles for our son. We saw a 2012 Lexus listed for $11k with under 45K miles, so we called. We were told the car was at the Lexus dealer for a recall, but no one could tell us what the recall was for. Then we were told later that it was having a battery replaced (which ended up not being true). After it was back on their lot, we drove over an hour to take a test drive. Oddly, the sales person had to jump-start the car to start it. We asked why it needed to be jump-started when the battery was supposedly just replaced. A shoulder shrug was about all we got. That should have been the red flag, but still decided to move forward. After seeing the severe amount of damage on the Carfax, we paid $150 to have it inspected at a nearby Lexus dealership. The report came back with approx. $1,200 of suggested repairs. Auto Boutique offered to perform ~$300 worth of repairs in their shop, and install a new battery (which they claim was under warranty- oh and the recall from earlier was for AIRBAGS, which was not disclosed by Auto Boutique, but the Lexus dealer performing the inspection) - another red flag. The nail in the coffin....we were ready to purchase the car with a cashiers check; however, the contract showed $199 for Zurich insurance (which we were told was COSMETIC insurance (paint/fabric). We didn't want this OPTIONAL insurance, but was told it HAD to be purchased in order to purchase the car. I've been around long enough to know this was total BS, but in good faith, my husband then drove another hour over there to show them the funds and our seriousness to purchase. Again, they tried to force OPTIONAL INSURANCE on us and a sales manager had no desire to work with us or even meet with my husband. He turned around and walked out. Guess who called 10 minutes later, and all of a sudden ready to waive the OPTIONAL insurance. They literally let a cash buyer walk out over $199. Word of advice to the sales manager: if you can waive a fee 10 minutes after we've left, you could have done it while he was in the dealership. Don't let serious buyers get so pissed off that you 1. lose the sale and 2. later read terrible reviews to would-be buyers. It's just dumb. read more

I found a car I was interested in purchasing and worked with the finance team on a rate and monthly payment I was comfortable with. I asked if I could come in the next day and finalize the paperwork. Keep in mind, other than signing papers, I was under the impression this was final as they'd gotten my permission to run my credit. When I came in to close the deal the following afternoon, the monthly payment estimate was 20% more than what I was quoted the day before. They went back to remove some arbitrary fees they didn't explain and still came back with a monthly payment that was almost 10% more than I was quoted, allegedly at the same interest rate as what I was originally given. Up until that point I had a great experience with my sales rep and with a lot of research, believed their pricing was fair. I would watch your back if you are financing. I'm not sure if my case was an employee error of giving me the wrong quote or if you often find yourself being asked to sign for more than you agreed to. I walked away and won't be back. read more

This place is kind of like a "factory/assembly line." Someone could be scheduled before you and then after you to look at the same car-in like 15-30 minute increments. SO they could really care less if you buy it or not because someone else is coming in after you. And if the person before you decides to buy- you wasted your time driving there for nothing- but they don't tell you this because they wanna sell you something else. Contrary to popular belief-any car dealers DO NOT CARE to much about cash sales with NO trade. They get kick backs and bonuses from the banks & finance companies and can make more if they can convince you to accept a higher interest rate too. And they really want you to have a trade because they can offer you like $1,000 and then turn around and sell it for $5,000. On their website it states that they tell you about the cars properly and have car fax. However I checked the SAME 2 newer Dodge Chargers on CarGurus website and they BOTH listed frame damage!! One of the cars wasnt even on the lot. When I inquired about it and the frame damage-they just kept asking me when I was coming in. lol... read more

I was looking for a used Chrysler Pacifica and saw the ad for a 2018 with under 25,000 miles for sale at Auto Boutique. I received emails on Sunday, January 6th, confirming my appointment to look at the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica. I confirmed. I received two more emails on January 7th confirming my appointment at 12:30 pm. I was asked to say when I was "on my way" and I said "on my way" at 12:12 pm. I arrived after finding a place to park, shortly after 12:30 pm. I checked in at the front desk where they made a copy of my license and insurance card for a test drive. I was seated and met the salesman and he went to "retrieve" the keys. He came back 10 minutes later and said, "I have bad news. Someone else took it out for a test drive just before you arrived." He then proceeded to pull up other Chrysler Pacificas and mini vans with higher mileage. I demanded to see his supervisor. His supervisor came over and said, "I heard you on the phone agree that we cannot hold this vehicle for you." I was incensed and showed him my confirmation emails just this morning. I said that trumps a phone call on Saturday. I had confirmations on Sunday and Monday. I said this smells like a "bait and switch" to me. He said that a couple with a 1:30 pm appointment to see it showed up early for a test drive. I told him, "I want to see this couple." I waited an hour and a half in the dealership. No couple showed up, nor did the vehicle appear. At this point I was incensed, and I told the supervisor that he is not telling the truth, the test drive does not last an hour and a half. Abso never buy any car from these people. If they are not broken down they are so dirty it's not worth your time or energy. They also have a ZERO return policy so if you disco some wrong with your vehicle too bad so sad you signed the paperwork your stuck with a decision that they made you make on a 15 min car test ride. They sold a car to my mom that had no title, unbeknownst to her. 30 days later, her temporary tags are about to expire, and they say the previous owner hasn't given them the title yet. What!!?? You're selling cars without titles! Now, she has to file a complaint with the attorney general and go through a whole process to get her temp tags extended.
