Update: the dealer commented on other review and claims the f.e. paint damage was caused by wrap removal, and this is plausible, but was not disclosed in my initial inquiry nor when talking to the salesman in my in-person visit. This also can't explain the severe headlight damage, which the dealer hasn't addressed, and can't be accounted for by the vehicle's history, the reported minimal standard service, reported 1 owner and less than 7k miles. I contacted 4 reputable local mechanics and each declined to inspect the vehicle onsite, all citing concerns that a dealer-controlled onsite inspection can inhibit the mechanic's ability to give a transparent and fair inspection. I should have included their offer in my review, but on Google I was out of space. Lastly I'd like to point out the fact that a car sitting for over 16 years will experience worse wear than car driven lightly over that entire time. This car is 100% an attempted flip. To owner: thank you for your time, but we were treated much better at Earth Motors in Carrolton, who kindly allowed both a test drive and PPI for a 2011 Lotus Evora with slightly more miles and a much better overall condition. Updates below were for brevity. Dealer behaves like a stereotypical shady used car lot. I ultimately walked out disappointed with the experience and suggest avoiding this location. In short: avoid Auto Capital USA at all costs. Research shows they have a long history of customers experiencing mechanical failure shortly after driving off the lot & poor experiences. I set up an appointment, arrived early, dressed well and acted politely. I asked the 1st salesman I spoke to for a third party pre-purchase inspection at my cost and my risk for damages as a condition for negotiating. I was given the standard authority shuffle, eventually being told by the assistant and general manager that the owner has a hard policy against allowing vehicles off premises to have third party inspections. This is not a normal policy no matter what anyone tells you. A PPI by a mechanic of your choice at your own cost and risk, or guaranteed Post-Purchase limited inspection warrantty is a must have for uncertified used vehicles to ensure buyer peace of mind. It is common and basic due diligence. The assistant manager played friendly, and the general manager played stern. They played the experience card on me, which is designed to play as a soft condescention. While speaking, the GM got close up in my personal space to talk to me. Additionally the entire sales group hovered to witness. Both are comon tactics meant to make you uncomfortable. The initial sales guy I talked to was ok, but Christopher, the salesman I had an appointment with was late to my appointment by almost 15 minutes. When I asked to speak with the owner about making an exception to the policy, and even offering written guarantee of collateral, the general manager told me, "I enforce the policy" and ignored further attempts to negotiate for a PPI. They offerred, twice, to have their mechanic to walk me through a pre-purchase inspection, but their mechanic is, at the end of the day, either an employee or business partner and has no incentive to give an honest or accurate inspection for a potential customer. Any dealership that won't allow you to have a PPI, done by a mechanic of your choice, or offer a limited warranty for post-purchase inspection on a non-certified used vehicle is shady. The entire experience was comically bad and only sent up red flags. As I stated, I arrived eary. I had a few minutes to give the car a thorough visual inspection. The White 2010 Lotus Evora shows signs of damage and undocumented repairs to the front end, including pitting and scrapes that were filled and painted. Some portion of the front end has been resprayed, and the color is slightly off. The official CARFAX report shows no reporting accidents or repairs, but there was definitely some kind of an accident at highway speed involving gravel or small rocks that was not claimed, and the service to repair wasn't logged with the VIN. The headlights are the biggest giveaway of severe damage. The edges have deep pitting/gouging consistent with rock damage/scraping against a hard surface, which is highly odd for the very low mileage of the vehicle. The lenses have been sanded smooth and badly polished/sealed to avoid replacing the headlight housings. It is a poor repair, at best, and at worst an intentional coverup. Wouldn't even pay 15 let alone high end asking price, no matter how nice the interior is or how low the miles are. read more

I bought a 2012 Corvette from this poor excuse for a dealership 1/31/26, I bought it online without seeing it. I was told that it had good tires, it did not, my $1800 mistake. Thanks for poor video and false statement Errol. I called several times during the next 60 days to ask about the registration. Rob was very rude and condescending say thing "I don't get notified every time paperwork comes in for a title", "we do this all the time" well at 54 I was informed that they had done absolutely nothing to get the title work taken care of. I would rather walk than to do business with these jerks again. The salesman Errol says he will make things right and has done nothing but talk, Rod can't believe anything he says. The ONLY person there that seems to give a rip about the customer is Lizzy and she is new, hopefully they don't ruin her. Worst experience ever. read more

Yesterday, my husband and I drove over 50 miles to Auto Capital in Denton, TX to view a 2022 Chevrolet 3500. Unfortunately, the experience was nothing short of disappointing. The customer service was horrific. Our representative, Elliott, made us extremely uncomfortable from the start. He refused to negotiate the price--even after we explained that the listed amount was significantly above the Blue Book Value. When we asked to test drive the vehicle, he hesitated and questioned whether we were actually going to buy it. He stated that the truck "wasn't for joy rides" and that his boss wouldn't want anyone driving it unless they were serious buyers. Honestly, why would we drive over 50 miles if we weren't serious? During the short and restrictive test drive route (which barely allowed us to exceed 35 mph), Elliott also chose to inform us that he used to be a state trooper. As a person of color, the intent behind that comment felt very clear--an unnecessary and subtly intimidating remark that immediately signaled racial profiling to me. By the end of the visit, it was obvious that this was not a dealership worthy of our hard-earned money. Thankfully, we ended up finding the same model--with more amenities--and far better customer service in Stephenville, TX. Texans there treated us with respect, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. read more

Buyer Beware .......Do Not purchase a vehicle from this dealership! Three payments into this car it is undriveable as per two different mechanics. I had it privately towed from one mechanic shop to a second one to get a second opinion and the second one said the same thing not knowing that I'd already had a first opinion done. Now I'm looking at 55 payments due in the amount of $447.15 for a car that is not driveable as per two different mechanic shops. Both are telling me the engine head has either been sealed with a patch that did not work because it had been probably been driven for a long time hot which has damaged the engine. read more

I bought the vehicle from Henri, not once was I informed of prior damage. After purchase, I took it to Christian Brothers Auto for their new purchase inspection, and they informed me of everything below. Auto Capital doesn't allow buyers to have the cars inspected and driven off their lot, prior to purchase and I'm Sure that's for this reason alone. Had I known I was buying a damaged car, I wouldn't have bought it for $14,990. This is why they only allow inspections on their property, which is unfair to the buyer. I bought the damaged car from Henri on 11/4/21 and he never disclosed any issues except the hood mount. All he told me was "I can't put any more money into this vehicle!" I took it to Christian Brothers Auto on 12/1/21 and they found everything listed below that was wrong with the 2010 Mercedes ML 350! "Vehicle appears to have been driven through a ditch or field. (1)The underside of the vehicle is damaged at multiple points and the engine mount bracket is broken allowing the engine and transmission to rest at an extreme angle binding the drivetrain. The oil pan is resting on the steering gear and the fuel tank has visible damage from being dragged across the ground. (2)All the underbody guards are broken and Vehicle came in with a concern of the rear hatch not auto opening all the way. Inspection of the rear hatch system showed the lift shocks to be worn and not performing as they should causing extra drag and weight on the lift motor. At this time replacement of the lift shocks and retest for full lift motor function. (3) Engine Mounts Notes: Driver side motor mount bracket is broken. Replacement of the bracket it required." I bought an extended warranty thinking it would cover any prior damage to the vehicle and it didn't. So buyer be ware! Auto Capital proclaims honesty and fairness but I got none of that. NEVER buy something from this place. Things look good on the surface and MY fault for not having my mechanic father look over the vehicle before buying it. I havent even had the vehicle for a year and have put 2k worth of engine repairs into it. They did not do any kind of thorough check on the vehicle. Transmission fluid was complete mud. Seatbelt broken, their solution was to mail me a new seatbelt. Turns out it's hundreds to get put in due to having to remove the entire seat cover/cushion to replace. Not just an easy job. If you insist on buying something from here, TAKE A MECHANIC. Or else you will be out thousands of dollars in repairs and unable to sell it for ANYTHING near what you paid for it.
