Was referred to Dave's Auto Repair through a good associat. called for quote, and right away Mr…read moreDave was very short with me .. looked up a transmission in Houston and told me , " I can order it and it will be here by Monday, bring the car in " .. i replied perfect what's the turn around for cash in hand , Mr Dave resp by friday... upon the good referral an somewhat reviews , I towed my vehicle to the shop anyway . then I asked is a new transmission best or do I need new parts , he replied he will look at my vehicle and get back with me .. 3 days go by, no update.. so I call today (Monday day 4) and mr Dave is even shorter with me saying he will get to it Friday and hung up phone .. well needless to say u drove the hr to his sho and asked for a more detailed answer, Mr Dave then ignored my question and walked in office to retr my keys and three them at me and said " I'm sorry u can't make your deadline" of course I'm frustrated, words where exchanged ,-'s I warned mr Dave of the pending review.. he replies , I didn't give him any money so its invalid.. well folks it's only him and one other guy the two times I visited the shop about 10-15 vehicles around shop.. it appears he's overwhelmed and under staffed .. which sucks for me because I chose this shop listening to an associate versus shopping closer to my neighborhood and I could have saved hours of travel time.. this is an honest review and my phone number is 469-676-7409 to prove why I am not a fake review as he has claimed others to be in the past

Now my car runs better than it did when I first bought it! It runs smooth, it's quiet, and I have better gas mileage!
