Auto Care Plus is new in the area but part of a few shops in the area. They have fixed tires. Replaced tires. Did a 20K mile check on a Porsche and arranged a minor body repair. Chrissy runs the front desk and Paul is the GM. Great customer service. read more

This review is about the location in Derry, NH. Be very wary of this untrustworthy repair shop. The service technician recommended a brake flush that the same location had done five months earlier. I was the one who caught that inexcusable error in time, only because it sounded familiar. I'm not a mechanic. Should I have to go through a file of receipts to save $250?! Less than a year ago, a service technician recommended that I replace four tires. I did buy two tires, and said that after the winter (that being now) I would buy the other two. The current service technician didn't notice anything anything wrong with my two tires and Ben at the front desk saw no mention of any need to replace two tires. I am left with the conclusion that these people just take advantage of unsuspecting customers to get as much money as possible before the customer gets wise to the tricks this place plays. read more

Ryan at Auto Care Plus couldn't have been more accommodating. He came in with short notice to show us a used care I was interested in. After test driving, I told him that I loved the car, but it wasn't allowing me to connect fully to my iphone (a problem I also had with my previous Toyota) Ryan spent a half hour trying to figure out the issue, then promised that the service department would figure it out. When I called him to let him know I bought a car elsewhere, he was exceptionally gracious, and let me know that the company was still going to work on that issue, and thanked me for pointing it out. I wish I could have bought the car from him rather than the big dealership I ended up at, which was exceptionally impersonal and couldn't bother to be personable, as they had a car they knew they'd sell (in fact, the guy told me pretty much that.) Let's hear it for the "little guys" and the art of being a good human. read more

If you're thinking of going here, DON'T. I should report them to the state inspection board. They failed my 2019 car with only 44,000 miles on it for a crack in the control arm, and because my windshield wipers had a slight streak in them... mind you, they didn't even enter the cracked control arm into the system, but hand wrote it on my inspection summary. They wanted to charge ~1,000 to replace the part and the technician also noted to me multiple times that he was very excited to see this needed to be replaced as he has to replace his ex wives control arm EVERY YEAR, really selling his case here. Seemed a bit off to me, so I got a second opinion and what do you know... absolutely no crack in my control arm. Do not go here, and if you do, get a second opinion before getting work done. read more

We've has used them twice. They have yet been able to meet the time frame given for the repair. $800.00 for a starter replacement. They did their mandatory, money grabbing inspection and didn't do anything to correct any deficiencies. I would not recommend them. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I needed to get my hybrid battery checked out. This place said the whole battery was dead and they were going to charge me $3000 to replace it. I then brought it to a second place for a second opinion and they said only ONE cell inside the battery (not all 15 which make up the battery) was daed and it costs $1100 to fix. AUTO CARE PLUS LIED AND WAS GOING TO CHARGE ME AN EXTRA $2000. After all that, this place had the audacity to tell me they were willing to buy my car off of me if I decided I wanted to sell it since its so expensive to fix it. DO NOT GO HERE- IT'S A SCAM! I went to Jeff's Lex- Toy Auto Repair in Londonderry. They are honest and reasonably priced and the complete opposite from this place. I arrived at 3:45 today just to be told that they could see that I had scheduled the appointment, however, it did not get booked. WTF? Terrible service. Lost this customer. Took my car here for new brakes, they told me it would be almost $800. When I said I'd like to go somewhere else to get an estimate (I was raised by a mechanic, I know when someone's ripping me off just because I'm a woman) I was told that other places would have lower prices because they don't use "premium products". Anyways, went to a mechanic shop two minutes away and got all the same work done for $400. Car stops on a dime and everything looks nice and shiny! Would recommend the extra 2 minute drive to Custom Car Care. Save your money! read more

DO NOT RISK IT. My car unfortunately broke down and was towed to the nearest shop, which happened to be autocare plus. My car sat there for weeks while they tried to assess the problem. Eventually they tell me the engine needs to be replaced. I didn't have much choice -- my car wouldn't start and I like to give faith in others when they're doing their jobs. It took 2 months for them to replace my engine. When it was finally ready, the car broke down again within one week, the exact same thing happened. They agreed to fix the car again -- I was told that I somehow got a faulty replacement engine, apparently VERY rare according to the young girl working at the front desk, but that they would replace it and fix the problem. Once again, my car was there for another month. I also informed them of other issues (my AC was not working properly); they told me the AC was fixed and when I got the car back, nothing had been done. When I picked up my car for the second time, it lasted about 1 week before the engine light came on. Now, my car sounds like it's going to break down. The engine light is always on and the brake like comes on now. Somehow the workers at auto care plus also broke my window -- a problem that was not happening prior to taking it there. They also left my car dirty with oil stains on the leather interior. I wasted $10k because of this place and 6 months later, my car is still broken, and in fact in worse shape than it was in the first place. There is no shot in hell that I will be bringing my car back to them despite them being liable for all of this. It is not worth my time or money -- they clearly are incompetent and do not know what they are doing. Take my advice and do not use this company if you do not have to. read more
