Betley sold me a car with a known issue in the navigation system. The screen pixilates, goes black and the rear camera comes on while driving forward. There is no fix for this issues and the dealership was rude and condescending when I called about it. read more

I've been thinking about buying a new Chevy Pick Up from Betley Chevrolet in Derry, NH but have decided to stay clear of them and here is why: I called them to schedule service on a Chevy Cruze 10 days ago. It was about 3 pm. The receptionist answered and I asked for the Service Department. I was transferred to the Service Shop but nobody answered my call. I left a message on voicemail that I needed service on my Cruze and wanted to schedule an appointment. I never got a call back. I would never buy a vehicle from a company that has no respect for customers, especially when service is needed. For that reason I warn people to stay away from Betley Chevrolet and to find another dealer that stands behind the product. I think Ill switch to GMC. I brought my car there for an insurance repair as they have an existing relationship with my insurance company. These people were great, all of them. Especially Dan in the body shop. Not only did they repair my car 10 days sooner than expected they also did an oil change and replaced my snow tries for my regular tires. On top of that they washed and detailed my car for me! It was spotless when I got it back and if you own dogs, which I do, you know how difficult it is to get your car spotless. The only unfortunate part is I do not like American made cars so chances are I would not shop there but if you do like Chevy's I would highly recommend them for their professional, friendly approach and willingness to go above and beyond. However, now that the economy has changed and they are struggling to stay open it sounds like they may be a little friendlier. I am deeply disappointed in the service recieved at Betley Chevrolet. I went in for a recalled fix and an oil change. The recalled item was replaced at no charge but the visit resulted in a broken mount under my now veey loose center console. They were immediately notified and denied the console was broken while in for service. Secondly, about the oil change, when it was time for my next oil change after the one Betley did, the man at ZucchIni let me know the oil was over filled by 2 quarts. I explained that it was done at Betley. He then told me the previous JiffyLube oil filter was still on my vehicle. I went back to Betley and they issued a refund for their shortly service but did not apologize or acknowledge that they did anything wrong. NEVER AGAIN. read more

Recently, I had the pleasure of dealing with Betley Chevrolet. The sales personnel were very friendly and informative. Their prices were competitive and fair. I liked the way they spoke to people who entered the business, making each one feel special. The sales staff is not condescending in any way; this is not necessarily true of other car businesses. It was the President's Day Sale weekend but throughout the business transaction they remained polite and positive. walked in not really knowing if I was going to buy. We had a small truck and just had a son. He did not fit well in our vehicle. I was interested in a Colorado and after driving it I was impressed. We had the additional space needed in the Colorado. About 18 inches worth and my wife would be able to fit in the front seat again. However, I wasn't sure about it being worth the update. I asked if there was any Silverado's on the lot. There was a 17% off the MSRP and trade in would bring the monthly payment into a manageable range. They even offered an additional amount for the trade in. As my truck was well maintained and had a few updates. Honestly buying a vehicle there was painless. I have yet to experience the service department for maintaenance on the truck. They did do an oil change and have it washed and ready for when I picked it up. Mike Mize, George Hurst and most of all John Martinelli sold my son a used Honda Accord and worked a deal for a new LTZ Silverado for me in the same couple days. These weren't easy deals to get done with my son (and his financial institution) being in the USMC stationed in NC and needing to have everything completed so he had the car as soon as he got home on leave and my trade being a 1 year early lease turn in needing to find enough incentives to make it worthwhile to upgrade. I went here a few years ago while recovering financially from a divorce. The finance department was downright rude. I have never been treated like such a second class citizen because my credit at the time was less than perfect. The finance manager was actually the worst offender. They actually told me I should take their deal because I would never be able to buy a car anywhere else with credit like I had. I now am on my second car from Quirk. And now that I am ready to trade and purchase another, with great credit, i will never step foot back into this dealership. I certainly hope none of them ever fall on hard times, or if they do they encounter people with a bit more class. But I can only assume Quirk in Manchester thanks them, especially every time we go in as a family and spend over 50k. I would recommend Quirk. I have never been so satisfied with the whole car buying experience than I was at Betley. I found the Dealership through my wife's uncle and he has been purchasing and leasing from them for years. I was skeptical just knowing how all my other auto purchases have gone. You know high pressure and the feeling at the end of sale and wondering how much I got screwed over. THIS was NOT the case. Do your online research as much as possible and know what you want before going to any dealership then explore many dealerships like I did. Ask family and friends about their experiences. I had Dave Nelson greet us when I walked in the door. I showed him what I wanted via a printed out reasonably equipped truck from the web site. I first assumed the oh we sold that weeks ago. Dave check his computer and gave me the good news. He went and got the keys and brought it around so I could look at it and explained some of the features. Then I was off for the test drive. I got back and said I like it and put down the deposit. The dealership paperwork fee did increase $240 from a post below. I put down the deposit and signed the agreements. He said he could have it ready for me to pick up just before closing the same business day. I opted for the next day early afternoon. I explored the ford dealerships since that was what I was trading in and I was eligible for the ford partner x-plan pricing through work. I have owned all the big three truck mfr vehicles. I tow a large camper and I did a months of Truck research online and in the montanaowners group. I am so glad I found this dealership.
