Faced with the reality of the long winter's toll on what was previously a little spot of rust, and the realization that the growing hole would likely not pass inspection, I gave myself until October (inspection month, plenty of time) to purchase a replacement vehicle. I did my homework...lots of online research to narrow my field of options before ever visiting a dealer. But once I did, I was reminded why I hate them so much. One after another, they unloaded their bag of tricks..."Yes, that car you saw on our website? It's still available, here are all the details, come on down and drive it." but upon arrival, "Oops, sorry it just sold this morning. Why don't you tell me what you're looking for and we'll see what else we have?"....at another dealer, after a test drive..."The couple over there is waiting to buy this, but you have first dibs, but you have to buy it now."...and on and on and on. Hours of waiting around for no good reason, way too much pressure, until Country Nissan. I never once felt pressured to make a decision by the salesman at Country Nissan. I felt like they heard me when I said that I don't respond well to pressure, that I don't make rash decisions, that I was not in a rush to buy, and that I would wait for just the right vehicle at just the right price. They kept in touch and let me know anytime they took in a vehicle that might fit my description, on more than one occasion even offering to let me come check it out before they had officially listed it for sale. They had my wish list with them at the monthly auction, just in case the right thing came along. Eventually, someone traded in what was to become my next vehicle. From there, the purchase process was smooth and I already had established a level of comfort with my salesman so I felt like I was in good hands through the formalities. The one exception being when it came time to meet with the finance manager. He seemed like a perfectly nice, genial guy...but the slick linking of reduced finance rates with extended warranty purchases was off-putting. It just did not seem genuine, and I'm not convinced that he was being honest when he said that the third-party financier would only give me a lower rate if I bought Nissan's extended warranty. This piece of the process was unfortunate and left a bad taste in my mouth just when I had finally convinced myself that I was making the right decision in purchasing this vehicle. It made me briefly second-guess everything and ultimately it ended the purchase process on a sour note. I left feeling manipulated and uneasy, which was really too bad.

I was driving around with a vehicle that wasn't registered for well over seven days. My insurance reached out to them with no answer. I reached out to them three times only be told I will call you right back and no one ever called me back. The sales person who initially helped me was gone due to a family emergency is what I am told. However, no one else from the dealership bothered to step up for him and finish his sale for me. Who knows how many other people were overlooked while he was absent. When asked how they could correct this issue I simply said that you've wasted my time and shown me no respect. How do you give that back? They had no response I do not suggest shopping here.

Beautiful 2015 Nissan Sentra SV with 21,900 miles (Later disputed by Carfax)…read more Balise Finance helped me finance a car when no one else would give me a car loan, but they made me pay two (2) times the actual cost of the vehicle, so how should I feel about that ? My sales representative was Raineer. On September 29 2017, we agreed upon a purchase price of $12,577.38 for the vehicle. All features and options (with the exception of the vehicle mileage) were as advertised. I agreed to put $4,500 down on the vehicle and purchase their $3,156 - 7 yr / 100K mile Carefree Car Protection plan Balise Finance however was an entirely different animal: Balise Finance agreed to extend financing to me when no one else would, but at an APR of 12.42%, and because I wanted a payment of less than $249.84 a month, they stretched the payments over 72 months (6-years) For a total loan cost of $5,411.10. And a total loan amount of $5,411.10 + $12,577.38 + $4,511.10? = $22,499.58 And a total vehicle cost of $22,499.58 + $3,156 = $25,655.58 USD I'm still not sure why they added my down payment onto the principal of the bank loan, instead of adding the Carefree Car Protection Plan. My advice: - Never pay the sticker price. Purchase any vehicle options months later as aftermarket add-ons: Why pay $13K for a pre-installed Ford F150 2.5" lift kit when you can pay $2K-$4K and have it done yourself. - Make sure financing is already in place, or apply for financing on a separate day, before you come in, so you can focus on negotiating the price of the vehicle - Conduct a vehicle trade on a separate day or conduct it as a separate transaction: Any money they lose on the trade -- they will recoup in financing. These tactics also won't work if you private sell the trade-in vehicle and come in with cash

Needless to say, it had already been a very long and stressful night. This afternoon, I drove to Hoffman Lexus hoping someone might be able to help, but I honestly did not expect much since I did not have an appointment. As I was getting ready to leave, a woman named Monica could tell that I needed assistance and immediately stepped in. Once I explained that we had just had a baby and that I wanted to make sure the vehicle was safe for my family, she sprang into action. She arranged a loaner vehicle, took my car and contact information, and told me not to worry about anything except getting home and taking care of our new baby. In a world increasingly filled with automation and, unfortunately, a lack of genuine empathy, Monica completely exceeded my expectations. Her compassion, professionalism, and willingness to help meant more to my family than she probably realizes. She is truly an incredible asset to Hoffman Lexus. Thank you again, Monica and Hoffman Lexus. My family and I will never forget how you treated us today. When we are ready to purchase our next vehicle, there is nowhere else we would consider going. With sincere gratitude, Jon, Emily, and baby Julia Wolf
