DO NOT DO BUSINESS with these people! We purchased a 2017 BMW X5 2 weeks ago and was promised the following: 4 tires were going to be replaced Scratches in the car were going to be repaired Jessie the director of the service center initially replaced the tires with the cheapest possible tires that was different from what was originally on the car we bought. We asked to replace the tires with the original tires that was on the BMW we purchased and we were told to pay $100 for each tire, that's $400! Jessie was extremely rude and didn't wear a mask the whole time while dealing with my brother! He gave us a receipt that says the $400 was going to be reimbursed by check and then realised he made a mistake and snatched the receipt and replaced it with one without a reimbursement. Yelling at my brother saying he was abusing Jessies generosity! It was ridiculous! As for the scratches that need fixing, no one is responding to our request for the repair or to schedule an appointment its been 2 weeks since we purchased the car. Larry or Ronny was our contact and both have failed to help us to schedule our repair. Hope this review prompts them to do something about it. We are sending a complaint to the DMV and Better Business Bureau of New York. If anyone has had a similar experience call DMV Complaints 518-4748943 and fill out a DMV complaint report form VS35 from the DMV and they will resolve the problem. Please stay away from this place. They advertise cars they don't even have in their lot. Also they are very rude. When we arrived, no one came to help. We decided to look around and see if someone will ever come out to help us. 20 minutes past and nothing, nada! My husband goes in and says excuse me, I have just one question? The man, very rudely said you have to wait, other ppl are before you. It was a simple yes or no question bc we had already looked around. Omg they are just so rude. Also the Lot is dirty looking. By far the best Service center I've been to, they have the utmost respect and appreciation for their clients, I went there for a regular service and found out I had more problems than I thought thanks to Mike and his crews expertise and commitment to go over and beyond the "regular" Service procedure. DO NOT GO THERE!!!! They lure u into their shop by offers online thinking u r getting a bargain. Then, they tell u need to fix this n that n my car is ONLY a yr old...........? Really?? Didnt get it fixed n they failed my inspection. I go to my usual mechanic n he said i didnt need ANY of those recommended repairs by these scammers.....! Almost spent over $600 for nothing here!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I should've looked at Yelp before I came here. Bought a groupon to get an oil change. I walked in and no one was at the front desk but there was a guy in his office with the door open in plain sight of who enters and who's waiting at the front. The receptionist wasn't there nor did he greet me. After waiting for a while and looking dumb I asked him if there was someone here to help me. He replied just wait she'll be back (while he sat there doing nothing). I was already turned off. Unfortunately I have to give them a star. Run the other way as fast as you can!!! Service center is a hell hole garbage shop. Not equipped with any real machinery. The GM Eric will try to sell you a dream this dealership/service center is one of the dirtiest place I've ever been in or seen. Consistently takes 2-3 hours longer than they tell you. Don't bother making an appointment. They'll just tell you "well you shouldn't make appointments on our website". wtf? why do you have a scheduler on your website then??? why does it send both an email and a text confirmation to remind you of appointment times? Very disappointed. My appointment was at 1pm. I was checked in by the recep by 1:10pm. I sat in the waiting area where it was very cold & uncomfortable. The staff kept leaving the front door open that was very annoying not considering other people were sitting there. I looked out at my car at 2:25pm and noticed that my car was still where I parked it. I questioned how long will it be since my car hasn't been taken in yet and they told me my car was next because they had other cars inside but my car would be next. I got my car at 3pm. read more

We recently had our Suzuki car checked before traveling to Florida at the Suzuki Sevice Center on Jericho Turnpike in New Hyde Park. The place did not check my tires and I was charged for the rotation of the tires and wheel alignment but the service center did not inform me that my inside tire treads were worn out and I needed new ones. I had checked my tires because I noticed a scrape that I did some time ago and it was still on the same side (right front). I went to another tire center and they told me I needed new tires, which I then bought. Suzuki charged me $330 for wheel alignments, tire rotation, air filter change, oil change and cabin filter change. I was informed that I also needed 15,000 miles check up but according to the manufacturer's guideline there was no indication of a 15,000 miles check up. Worst service experience ever, our family car never has any oil leaks since we got it, UNTIL my fiancee went online bought a Groupon for AUTO EXPO NEW HYDE PARK, please buyer beware Groupons don't get the 'A' mechanic or the 'B' mechanic like me you will get the helper , long story short I have a aluminum oil pan on a honda, everyone knows you hand tighten these it's because they're soft metal and can strip the plug or even the pan, after talking to the guy in the back office , he proceeds to tell me to come in to get it fixed, well a quick little drain-plug should take less than a oil change time, here I am 2 hours later, I have. O solution, I get this B.S. line, "it's wear and tear , that's how you know your talking good care of your car" so after being treated like i am a idiot , and see the competency of the helper illl.never go back even to get fixed I rather everyone know...they wont take ownership of own screwups... now im having replace my oil pan after close inspection on second shop... they even let me leave dripping oil with a hurry and get that looked at before the plug falls out! videos submitting to consumer affairs. read more

Auto Expo is one of two Suzuki dealership garages in the NYC area, so there isn't much of a choice when it comes to getting your vehicle serviced. I first went to this location about 2 weeks ago. My Forenza had been recalled, so I got to bring it in free of charge. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. My driver's side airbag light was suddenly on after getting serviced -- so it had to be fixed. Auto Expo charges $110 per hour minimum to look at any issue or problem. I obliged and allowed them to fix the airbag sensor. Not even 24 hours later, the sensor was back on. I took it back in two weeks later to get them to fix it and to get a state inspection. They attempted to charge me again for the sensor fix. It was only when I produced my receipt from my prior visit was I able to get them to fix it without an additional payment. When I received my car an hour later after my state inspection, my check engine light was mysteriously on. They had also removed my insurance company's tracker and neglected to put it back in. When I went back inside to ask them to see what the problem was, they attempted to charge me another $110 (at least) to fix the issue. Even though they were the last people to touch my car, they claimed "it was not their responsibility" if the check engine light was on, and that any problem with the computer was my fault. The boss then told me to leave and to "not come back" when I accused him of shady business practices. I understand that working at a garage or working in the service industry is a tough job, and that it can be very difficult to make a living. But when your business is based on bilking your customers -- when you knowingly decide to take advantage of drivers and their families -- that's when I question a person's humanity. It's also just plain awful and (can sometimes be) completely dangerous. You should take pride and honesty in what you do. Auto Expo would have earned a much better review had they taken an extra 5 minutes to fix my onboard computer. Instead, they're getting one star. I am so utterly disappointed in my service there that I hope I never, ever have to go back. read more
