My vehicle sprung a fuel leak on a Saturday afternoon and after calling AAA, TNT arrived in less than an hour.The driver Sammy, was very polite and informative. Total experience with TNT Auto was exceptional and I wish I can give more than 5 stars. The entire staff from owners to mechanic treated me professionally. They thoroughly explained everything, called me back after every voicemail I left to tend to my concerns, offered good recommendations/options for my various issues, and accommodated my time availability. The work done on my BMW was phenomenal. It was a complex and unusual failure and even BMW centers did not know how to fix it other than to randomly replace parts. Fortunately I found TNT Auto who correctly diagnosed the issue and fixed the issue without replacing any parts. And the cost was fair and reasonable. I brought my car in for inspection and I assumed I was gonna leave the car there and have to come back in a couple hours. I was wrong, the mechanic did my inspection right away, as soon as I pulled in 7:30 AM on Wednesday morning. It Just really helped me out because I had a lot of things to do that day. Made an online appointment from AAA. My boyfriend locked his keys in the car online it estimated that they would arrive in 45 mins no big deal... About 5 mins later a nice guy from TNT auto called verifying my appointment made online. He inquired the problem i told him the situation. He said no problem ill have someone there in 15-20 mins. Not soon after 15 mins later a nice guy in a flat bed shows up. Had his 3 gadgets needed. Within. About 1 min door was open alarm was going off keys were in my hand! Sure i couldve went alll the way to his house in queens past lga airport to get the spare but when u have AAA. It totally pays! I was really amazed at how quick he was able to open the door. THIS IS THE WORST MECHANIC YOU CAN GO TO. My car was towed there by AAA recently, and not only did they completely rip me off for service, but they "forgot" to re-attach one of the bolts that secures my tire to the car. My tire detached on the highway, and I NEARLY avoided an extremely dangerous situation, no thanks to TNT Automotive. I'm not the type to ever complain about service no matter what but THIS was CRAZY!! I had smelled something burning in my car and was told by a previous mechanic everything "looked fine." I kept driving (against my gut instinct) and eventually I got a popped tire. I called triple A and they called TNT. I explained how I believed it was more than just a flat tire, it was something internal. Regardless they did not send a tow truck. They sent a man to change my tire (after an hour passed by) I drive down the street and the man who changed my tire hears the sounds my car is making and says I should have it towed.. HMM NO SHIT. So I have to call TNT back and wait ANOTHER hour for them to send a tow truck. I was less than two miles from their shop.. Finally they tow it and I get a ride home. They call me in the morning explaining their analysis and how it would be $1,200. I knew this wasn't right. So I say I'm having it towed to my Uncles shop upstate. I have 100 free miles of towing from triple A so it was free. To get my car out of their lot they charged me $150. I was never told this charge was going to be placed although they didn't do ANYTHING to the car. I'm literally paying to take my car back. I pay. And they say they're going to tow it upstate. A few hours later they call and explain how they drove an hour and a half upstate and DIDNT BRING THE CAR!!!!! WHAT?! MY CAR IS IN YOUR LOT HOW DO YOU FORGET THE CAR. The man reassured me by telling me "these things happen.." to who?!? Not to a professional, I'm sure.. Just when I thought this was over, I receive a phone call from a woman working at TNT saying how triple A is going to send me a survey and if I could answer "completely satisfied" to all the questions.. WHAT? WHO? WHO IS COMPLETELY SATISFIED? I wasn't even partially satisfied.. Nevertheless I will never be returning to TNT and I do not suggest this company to anyone!! P.s. Towed here by AAA, my transmission went out on first gear on my Echo. The tow guy and the guy behind the phone were very friendly. But when I met the manager "sales guy" he tried to sell me a timing belt job (but luckily I know I have a timing chain). So he showed me all there placks on the wall that was awarded (by the way it is from AAA the company the garage associated with I believe it's for excellent customer service not work done on the car). When I had a bad gut feeling and tried to go somewhere else he tried to charge me for having it on his lot. I felt I had a gun to my head! First he didn't call me to see the transmission done, so i can see it done. Second I got the car back it was leaking so much training fluid and the smell was coming in the car. I was force to take it back within a week. I received the car back and the smell coming in the car was gone but the thing was still leaking! He said I got a junk yard transmission, but what I think is the fluid was empty in the first place. $1400 wasted lesson learned still have the same transmission problem. I brought my car in for an oil change and to check the brakes since the "check brakes" light has been flashing after I had my brakes done at this shop in November 2022. I was told the wheels would be balanced, they would do the oil change and call me before 12 on Saturday. At 11 am, I called to check in on my car because I knew they were closing a 12 and I hadn't heard from them. John told me that my car was not checked yet but it was next and I would hear back within the next 15-20 minutes. He asked why it was in and I confirmed with him that it was for a wheel balance and oil change. At 12:47 pm, John called me and began to tell me that the tires need to be taken off and then do something they call a "wheel balance," which I already had discussed with him in the previous conversation. He said I would have to leave my car and it can be done on Monday because the shop was suppose to close at 12 that Saturday. He said it was not noted in the computer from Friday to do the wheel balance or oil change. Did he forget that less than 2 hours ago we spoke about it? Was he not listening at all? What a complete waste of time, an inconvenience and a shitty thing to do to someone! He could have at least taken 15-20 min and did the oil change!! A good business man would say, since its already an hour past closing, I will do the oil change free of charge! I went to pick up my car and saw that there was a mechanic still working on another car. I called Mavis and had all 4 tires balanced and an oil change done in 2 hours. Alex at Mavis was respectful and informative. He was very clear and efficient. I will never return to the TNT automotive shop for any further work and I certainly do not recommend it. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. TNT mechanics are downright liars and crooks that are somehow authorized by a "reputable" company such as AAA. They need to be deauthorized and AAA should better research the mechanics they deem are certifiable. Not honest with pricing. Use high pressure sales techniques. Quote you price with tax on the phone. Then when you get there, they say they saved you money by not charging you for the brake drums and throwing in something they said they fixed for free... but then you get the same price because the quote they gave you over the phone wasn't with the tax included. And you're stuck with the same broken thing they said they'd fix "for free" because since they didn't charge you... it's not covered under the warranty. And, the car isn't ready till 6pm when they said 4:30pm. Don't go here if you want someone honest. Even if they're rated by AAA. read more

My family and I ONLY bring our cars to TNT. We have been customers for many years and I have never had a bad experience. Pricing is standard and fair and service is timely. The owner and his associates are very accommodating. If I've needed to be driven back to my home after dropping off my car they have done so. I've never felt pressured to have anything fixed or changed on my car that was unnecessary. They have even given recommendations on how to save money on maintenance and ordering parts for my car. The tow service came within a half hour, and the pricing was as quoted by AAA. If I could give this shop minus zero, I would...they are crooks! My car broke down and AAA towed my car there. Was told by 2 mechanics it was my alternator and would cost $300-400. I was weary, but had no choice since my car inoperable and I could not bring it elsewhere. They knew this....when my final bill was drawn up, it was $820+....and all they did was the alternator! When I told the owner of the prior quote, he just apologized...oh well...my loss! I get that I could not get an exact quote, but to be more than double with no additional work done is a shame. I also went to 2 different mechanics with this bill, and they both told me he should be ashamed of himself. And shame on AAA for sponsoring this guy. I will be calling AAA to complain too....We need to stop the crooks! read more

TNT - The Worst Ever Experience - Lousy Work, Even Worse Customer Service. They told me my car was fixed and ready to go. I arrive and they had put the wrong part in my car. I needed to go to the car dealership and they fixed my car in under an hour for a very, very simple problem. When I called TNT next day and spoke with the owner Dennis and told him what happened, he was arrogant and rude with no apology for wasting my time and doing the wrong work. He actually defended it. Richie is the guy in the office and he is just as rude. I wouldn't write this review if they were apologetic and handled me in a professional and courteous manner. However, they did not! Not Dennis, not Richie and not John - the other owner. The bottomline: These guys are horrible and Dennis if you are reading this.
