First off this was my 17 year old sons truck, which they knew. They rescheduled his inspection when…read moremy emissions would have been exempt, and the new date put me over the 5000 miles to exempt it. When I went back they failed it because the check engine light was on and told me we should just look for a new truck because this one was too old (2006) and they didn't have time to chase down that problem. I took it home and corrected those issues in less than an hour and took it back in. Now they failed it again (after the emissions passed) and charged me $1800 for front pads, front rotors, and 1 front hub bearing. They claim the hub bearing was $800+. When I offered to bring my own bearing in they threatened to increase my labor cost because he supposably was giving me a discount. Keep in mind there is ZERO labor in replacing the hub bearing since you need to remove it to replace the rotor, which they were doing. After I got it home, I changed the oil to find they never attached the ABS wires on the new hub or on the existing hub. In fact they broke the screw off and just left the bracket hanging. These guys knew my son needed the car and 100% F*&%KED me over. I will never go back there and will be sending this same review to their corporate offices. See attached picture and video of how they left it.

Total came to almost $900 upon leaving this car as this car is a collectors car. It drove directly back to my garage for storage undercover however, I didn't notice that the was not has to be at 7 o'clock at the bottom in order to drive straight. Talk to Car out to get it and wash it found several big black chips of finish off the right rim and two of them on the left front rim. These are the tires that I had put on the car then called Mavis customer service corporate put a claim number in called the Lincoln Highway location where this was done and asked to make an appointment to bring it back in the situations. I had to wait two weeks to get an appointment to do the holiday of Memorial Day as I want to give him ample time to get the car on the rack and reevaluate the wheel alignment issue also upon getting there the tech came out, looked at the wheels and said he had to call the manager. The manager came out flat out, denied my damages. Keep in mind that this run flat tires and these tires should've been mounted with a touchless They can't damage rims, but the markings on my rims are not from their as it has a plastic head on it once again keep in mind this is Mercedes-Benz and they recommend they should be done touchless machine after that the manager got very verbal, his voice and flat out told me to again called corporate asked for a regional manager. The regional manager asked me to take it to one of people in Warminster now I have to take another day off and drive 45 minutes from my house to go look at his Wheel Man who's gonna deny the once again became very verbal, talking real fast and not letting me respond in a cordial manner. I told her if I could not get a positive response turn into my insurance company because these wheels are very valuable and costly to and once again, the wheel alignment issue was not even discussed. I told him if I could not get a reasonable response. I wanted the car not looking for monetary money I want the car said if I was take it to my insurance company, he would close out the I've been a repeat Mavis over the years buying tires doing mechanical work. I felt like it was a good place to go to. I have called the corporate again after this fiasco with the regional and I am expecting a call from region from Director from the director of again I am at odds I do not recommend taking anything there for number one I did not get a printout from the wheel line is showing what was done and where the wheels this is normal processing wheel alignment protocol. The damages are like someone used a hammer or something with blunt force finish on my rim edge. This is not rash or scraping. There is no marks on the new tires car is and has no damage on it I will give them ample amount of time for the regional manager or whoever the next layer is of management to get in contact with me and treat me with some kind of dignity and respect before I move forward with my next. of defense on this manner, this is the worst customer service. I've had by Mechanic in a long in mind I've been in and out of the automobile tree over the course of the last 25 years. I did not recommend Mavis for any work at this point until they can with a reasonable amount of consideration and respect. Take care of the damages have been done to my car and perform it a decent wheel alignment

Joe immediately put me at ease with his genuine, friendly mannerisms. I didn't feel like I was being hustled, rushed or, being female, condecended to when discussing repairs. There was an immediate issue with my muffler not being secured properly, which Ed repaired quickly. These folks are honest, true and fair. I was not charged for the free estimate, and shockingly, not for the fix to secure my muffler! Joe was also on the phone for a bit researching the parts and the best price for a future repair that will be needed - my car is a 2003. Thank you so much for your efforts Joe! What a weight lifted off my shoulders to find decent folks:) Ps, my mother will be over soon with her car too!

There were absolutely no issues with the vehicle--at best, I expected needing brakes and/or tires. To my shock, the WHOLE front suspension needed replacing. As well as the battery and battery terminals (which they claimed were leaking). Odd that I never saw any battery leakage or felt problems in the suspension. $2000 later, I had my vehicle back. Now, there is a knocking sound when I go over small bumps. Interesting that they just fixed that and that is the sound I hear. I returned to the service center, and they say the knock is coming from my transmission--and they "claim" the dipstick was removed/missing. Then asked me if I took it out? Meineke is the ONLY place I have taken my vehicle since owning it. WHY would I even look at my transmission fluid? It is way under the vehicle. I would need a lift to access it. They claimed they did not remove it, then charged me $150 to refill it. I get the vehicle back and THERE IS STILL A KNOCK in the suspension. I return yet again, and now it needs another $1000 in repairs to the suspension. They are CLEARLY damaging vehicles and charging customers for the repairs. I am pending a return call from their corporate office regarding these matters. EDIT: They changed the repair cost from $1000 to $600; but still admit no fault in the damage.

Disappointed Doesn't Even Begin to Cover It…read more I've been a loyal Midas customer for years, bringing my car here for everything from routine maintenance to major repairs. But after today's experience, I will not be returning -- and I'm honestly shocked I even have to write this. Here's what happened: We took my mom's car to Tire City for a routine tire rotation (they offer free rotations and patches if you buy tires from them). But as they started the process, they stopped immediately after trying to remove the rear driver's side tire. The lug nut was overly tight, and they didn't feel comfortable proceeding -- they suggested we go back to the last shop that worked on the tires: Midas in Langhorne. That's when everything fell apart. At Midas, the manager refused to even look at the car. He said they couldn't verify who last worked on the tires because he "couldn't see the locations" on the CARFAX report. When I calmly questioned that -- because I know CARFAX absolutely shows that info -- he raised his voice at me. When I asked him not to speak to me like that, his response? "If I was raising my voice at you, you'd know it." Completely unprofessional and honestly, a bit threatening. To make matters worse, my mom (who's in her 60s) was treated dismissively the entire time ; it was my moms car -- and this was after I explained that we were just trying to resolve a safety issue. The front desk staff acted like they couldn't hear us, responding with repeated "what?"s and generally acting like we were an inconvenience. I was told there were no service records for her vehicle in their system -- even though she's had multiple services done there and still have paper receipts to prove it. Frustrated, I went home, pulled up the CARFAX -- and lo and behold, it clearly lists Midas Langhorne as the last place that serviced her tires (following a brake replacement). So not only were we turned away without help, we were also lied to. I'm still shocked at the complete disregard for customer loyalty and basic decency. I've never been treated this poorly at a shop, and to see this level of disrespect -- especially toward my mom -- was beyond disappointing. To whoever manages this location: Do better. Your long-time customers deserve better. (And if you're reading this and thinking of visiting -- fair warning, the manager we dealt with was a shorter, middle-aged man with gray and black facial hair. I believe his name is either Alex or John, both are managers.) Attached a photo of my CARFax for proof.
