They have been good at tint on a few different vehicles but windshield replacement is a flip of the coin. Just had windshield replaced and found out on the road, in the middle of nowhere, in a very sporadic rain, that they didn't hook up my windshield washer hoses. Very dangerous viewing conditions for 12 hours of driving... Had to take car back for them to fix. Attention to detail fail. Maybe check the system you disconnect before releasing back to customer. read more

Don't go to these people to cover a " ding" in your windshield. They did such a poor job that in a few days in started with a little crack. Now it is a full blown crack across the the windshield. Went in to repair a rock chip that was smaller than a dime. Came back with a 6 inch long crack and got charged $20 for this!! NOT HAPPY

These guys are awesome; this afternoon our car got broken into and I was desperate to get the glass replaced because we are on our way to college. Adam said they could get to it tomorrow, but after explaining the situation he agreed to stay open late and replace the glass. I had no issues here. Toyota dealership paid for my tinting and this is the place they always use so I didn't really spend any time researching any other tint places. In any case, the tint work was great and it matches the manufacturer privacy glass tint on the rear windows very well (I only had the front driver/passenger windows tinted). Made an appointment for installation of a rear windshield, which I had just picked up from dealer at a cost of $600. They asked me to sign a liability release such that if they broke the glass (or my car) during installation they would have no responsibility for it, meaning I would be out $600 for their negligence! Not fair. Not acceptable. I am not the one hiring, training, and supervising their technicians and sure as heck don't want to be financially responsible for their actions. I would hope that Horizon Glass would be confident in their ability to install a new windshield without breaking it, and in the rare cases where they do mess up and break it, would take responsibility for it. I declined to sign the form and quickly found a competitor that would stand behind their work, is mobile (saving me a three hour wait), and charges a bit less. If you are considering using Horizon Auto Glass & TInt I would strongly suggest that you ask them to email or fax to you a copy of their liability release form before you commit to do business with them. Best to read it BEFORE dropping off your car, when you might be tempted to just cross your fingers and hope they don't mess up at your expense. read more

Extremely nice and helpful staff. I've had two chips repaired at very little cost and in under 30 minutes. The waiting room has coffee, water, and free wifi while you wait. I hope I don't have to be back, but I know where to call if I need anything else fixed. read more

Very pleased! I called ahead to get pricing information. I was greeted professionally and courteously. I needed windshield tint for my F150. $25 + tax which included installation! I made an app't and received answers to my questions and concerns prior to the work being done. My tech worked around my issues in the front seat w/o batting an eye. My car was broken into and I called them around 730 on a Saturday morning. They were able to get me in same day which I really appreciated. They did a good job and gave me a quotes for a cracked window I have as well. It only took about 3 hours to get the window replaced. I will be going back again to have them do more work. read more

Love it here! My brother had his tint done at Express Tint and we had terrible service so I went to Horizon for my car! Katy up front immediately greeted me and my dad, which we really appreciated. Angel did the tint which looks great! Much better than Express Tint. You can tell that he took his time to make sure it came out nicely. Jessica then checked me out and gave me full instructions on post tint and answered all the questions I had, she was professional and knew her stuff. I really liked how they taped over my window buttons because being the forgetful person that I am I probably would've rolled my windows down once I left! This review is not based on any services that I have been provided, it is more so customer service. I'll be clear that I did not have a bad experience, rather an incomplete one. I called Horizon and spoke to Jeff sometime last week. I explained that I wanted to pay for my nephew's windshield replacement, and that I did not reside in Abq. He explained the process, provided me with a quote, and I told him I would call back when I was ready to move forward. I followed up yesterday 09/29 in the morning. Jeff took my information, my nephews information and neither one of us ever received a call or email - including today. I had to wait an hour for them to fix a crack chip on my windshield. Then when it was done they made the crack even bigger and made it way worst than it was. They didn't even give me a discount for messing up or anything. Would not recommend. You're better off going somewhere else. read more

Lexas is the girl who appreciates her job and the company has it set up to show all these different options. I have been to a lot of other tinting places and this is the best so far. We had our 02' Volvo V40 tinted and they did a great job. We did the darkest legal tint on all the windows (if you do any darker the warranty would void) and it was just right actually. We dropped off our car at 11 a.m. and it was ready at 4 p.m(so they are really quick also). They even offered to stay past 5 if we couldn't make it on time. The customer service was good, very friendly and knowledgeable. It was also super affordable. I would take any of my vehicles there again. read more

I am a return customer to Horizon and I've never been disappointed. My most recent visit to have my windshield replace was no exception! They rock all the way around. Adam the office manager completed all of the initial workup, getting approval from my insurance company. The crew that installed my windshield had it completed before the estimated time I was given. Roughly 20 minutes after leaving with a new front windshield, a small crack appeared which grew into a huge crack across the entire windshield. We turned around to get a replacement covered by the 30-day warranty. When we got there, the man laughed at us, claiming that a rock must have hit us. A rock did not hit the window. I went to rich ford. Issue with my molding. They recommended Horizon Auto Glass and tint. I spoke to adam who grabbed the installation manager, Gary, who looked at the molding and told me it was a quick fix. 5 minutes later everything is fixed at no charge!!!! Love these guys! read more

Worst service ever! Was told replacing windshield would take 2.5 hours worst case scenario. ...5 hours later. ...literally I dropped my car off at 12:30, they said they would work on it at 1, should be done no later than 3:30. My car was ready at 6pm. And to top things off, it was the shittiest job I've ever seen....see pics. Huge gaps between windshield and mounts, can see glue and other crap. It doesn't appear to be safe to drive! I will never go back and I would never recommend this place to people I care about! read more
