Had to have windshield replace due to small rock with cracking. They had to order the glass which…read morewas from the manufacturer and took 3 weeks. I understood, no problem. Glass comes in, appointment set and job completed, until....., After installation, tech comes out to tell me their equipment can't sync with manufacturer for camera use and I need to sign a waiver of liability in case the equipment may be dicey! Said it was issues on the manufacturer's side. Call insurance telling me not to sign anything then called the manufacturer who said their syncing system was working and that sometimes they get calls saying this because the glass company does not have the technology to work on the newer autos. They suggested I go to the dealership to get everything back to normal, WHY WOULDN'T I GO TO THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE. They closest dealers is 2 hours away and I responsible for cost! If you have a newer vehicle, think hard on where you get glass repaired or replaced!
