Wasted time and poor communication. I had a Saturday appointment scheduled by phone and waited an hour and a half before being told they ordered the wrong replacement because they didn't get the VIN. I was rescheduled for Monday at 8am, only to wait again and be told the part still hadn't arrived. I've now driven across town twice for nothing. The plastic they put over my trunk flew off within minutes, and it rained this weekend so now my trunk is wet too. No urgency, no apology, and no concern for the inconvenience. I've been waiting for an hour and fifteen minutes and they still haven't taken my car to the garage. They told me it would be 1-2 hours. Wish they would have told me to come in later! Also, I waited at the counter 15 minutes when I arrived and ended up wandering into the garage trying to find someone to check me in. The location is very grimy/dirty. Definitely not ideal to stay and wait for your car. Heidelberg Haus is near by, but lots of interesting people are out and about on this side of town and I didn't feel safe even doing the short walk there. read more

I cannot speak highly enough of this business. I called several places to get quotes to replace my front windshield. All of the quotes ranged from $200 to $300 more then what Auto Glass Now was going to charge me for the same product and installation. They were kind, helpful, honest and fast. They explained and showed me everything and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. The is plenty of parking and it is located right on Pendleton Pike near several other auto shops. This review had been deleted on Google Reviews and is now being reposted on Yelp. My son had his windshield replaced on his 2021 Rubicon at this establishment, only to have the windshield develop a significant crack over 26 inches long 6 days later. Their website states in part " Every replacement comes with a Lifetime Warranty" what they don't tell you is that they refuse to honor their own warranty and that they have actually received 22 " One-Star" reviews out of 40 on the Downers Grove Chamber of Commerce Website. I understand that Jeremy Humphrey, the store manager, was extremely rude and condescending. My son , who happens to be an Air Force veteran and current Police Officer tends to sometimes take it on the chin. I, however, believe that we should stand up for our rights and call out establishments the RIP- OFF the American Consumer. Jeremy should be ashamed of himself and do what's right. I'm glad a friend recommended this place. Had a shattered windshield that I needed to replace and they were able to get me in same day that I called. The incident happened after hours the night before and all repair shops were already closed. So I was looking online and the quotes I saw were for $2-300+ to fix my windshield which I was surprised by. I thought it was going to be waaaay more but was ok to pay. I then hopped on social media to inquire about a place and a friend referred Auto-Glass now. I will say, I was a little disappointed that the location was on Pendleton Pike and not Beech Grove as advertised not the website. (I'm not far from Beech Grove and didn't want to drive too far with a shattered windshield). But it's fine. Made it over to the them and everyone was pleasant first thing on a Friday morning. Got me checked in and pretty much started right away. My whole wait time was like an hour and a half, plus twenty minutes to wait for the adhesive to cure. Which wasn't terrible at all AND it was less than $200!! Can't beat that. A couple little things. I do wish the lobby was a bit more clean. It looks like people typically drop off their vehicles and come back, but for those what don't or can't-it'd be nice to sit in a clean lobby. And I understand the nature of your business deals with broken glass, I just don't think there should be glass where patrons are going to walking. Just my opinion. Other than that it was great. I don't use yelp unless I have a super horrible experience somewhere and want to warn others (guess that might make me a Karen), or the greatest experience which this was nothing short of. This specific location-- they're so easy to work with, ninjas at what they do and I am so grateful for them. I showed up at 11:00am to drop my car off and have my back passenger window replaced. At literally 11:30am, just 30 minutes later, they informed me that they had already removed that back passenger door, vacuumed up all my broken glass, replaced my window for me and already put the door back on. After almost a year, I am still trying to get Auto Glass now to repair the water damage in my car. I am not sure what they have broken in my car but, I have had to drive to the store 3 times for them to "asses" the damage. Now, I have to take my car in for an entire day so that an auto electrical repair company can give me a quote on the damage. Since, there has been ice and water pooling in my car, I also have some rust damage under the steering wheel. I can only assume there is also mold from the carpet being we for almost 12 months. I wish I would have spent the extra $50 and gone to another company. This hassle is not worth it and it may ruin my car to the point I have to buy a new one. It's not cool. read more

Not a good place for auto glass. You really get what you pay for which is cheap, thin glass. They say they are first come first serve. I arrived at 7:30 was second in line at 10:30 7 vehicles went in front of me. Asked the lady about first come first serve and she was the rudest person I've ever had to deal with. If you are a person who prefers quality over quantity then do not go here . Service is very poor. They may be the cheapest in The city but there is a reason why. This was supposed to be a same day service which turned into a two week ordeal . because they broke my rear view mirror during installation and they tried SUPERGLUING IT BACK ON . I had several attempts at getting it fixed with wasted money on Uber rides to and from the facility. They made it very clear they weren't refunding me ANYTHING. Great price, went yesterday 3-4-20 to their shop on Pendleton Pike, to get our minivan windshield replaced. The phone rang non-stop, the lady working was trying to train a new employee and do her job, and she worked so hard, to get everything done and give quotes and call people back. Great worker. The windshield was replaced and looks great, the garage was full, but they got me in and out ASAP. I called around and best price I could find for windshield replacement. It seemed very chaotic in the office, though the people were friendly. When I arrived there were very few vehicles in the bays. I heard them say there are 3 technicians. I had 2 chips one smaller than a dime the other about the size of a pen tip. From looking online it should have taken 10-15mins to fix, however had to wait 1 hr 45 mins. The price is lower than the other places I called around to $69 for the first chip $10 for the 2nd. But perhaps it would have paid a little more for a little more service at a faster rate. read more

I have had to take my car into this particular location 5 different times, within a year for them to fix my drivers side window. The window that everyone who has a car uses the most, and here it is over a year and the damn thing still isn't fixed. Now I am over my warranty period with them, and they are now saying that it was the regulator that is not keeping the window in place, and of course they are going to charge me now to fix it, just to get more money out of me!!!!! The worst customer service of my life! Here I am with plastic covering my back window for over a week waiting on these folks. First, I get two different quotes after calling back to back and giving the exact same information. Next, I leave work early, & arrive and THEN they tell me that they are running an hour behind, but if I leave- even though I have an appointment- I will lose my place in line. So, I SIT IN THE NASTY LOBBY, USE THE DISGUSTING RESTROOM WHICH IS NEXT TK A BIRD CAGE FULLOF POOP, and then they come out and tell me that the wires on the window came in defected (they had this window all day but couldn't take a look at it??). They can reschedule me for two days later but NO DISCOUNT. I reluctantly reschedule because they can get me in the soonest and have the lowest price. Here I am 3 days later and I wake up and arrive at my appointment only for the girl at the front desk to tell me that the glass is NOT in. She has the nerve to offer me a discount for my inconvenience. Last time there was absolutely no way for me to get a lower price. She says I can come back in 2 MORE days. Happy with the results but my 9 am appointment lasted until noon. This wouldn't have been an issue but when I got there at 9 I was assured it wouldn't take more that an hour and a half. So I walked around, got a snack came back at 10:30. My glass wasn't even there yet! But I was assured that it would take no more than 30 more minutes. Finally at 11:30 I was told I could just pay if I want to. Well I am still sitting here at noon with no car in sight. This better be some nice glass. Where to begin. I will start off on a good note. Josh and the other workers did keep a good attitude the whole time I was there I am very impressed with how nice they where, now that's not to say I still feel like I was way overcharged. I called and went in on Wednesday to have them come out and look at my window and give me a price they ended up quoting me $324 dollars this includes $41 in taxes $85 in labor and $9 in gas surcharges. I had two dime size cracks from a rock that had started to spread a little throughout the window. So I set up an appt. for Thursday at 12pm. I ended up staying in the office to wait on my car it wasn't until 330 I happen to walk out to take a phone call and one of the workers says your cars been done somethings not fitting right it's the wrong window. so we are waiting for josh. So now I get really worried go inside and ask what's going on.. then he tells me they ended up glueing on the wrong window and didn't look to make sure the brackets where going to line up right with my lane assist(19 civic) . And that there sorry they should have looked.......so now I'm like what does this mean.... he seems lost at this point and just stares at me. witch starts to make me feel very worried and upset. He ends up trying to find another window for my car turns out it has to be a dealership window then tells me that I should have known that.. ( like I'm a glass expert and it's my job to know this). Finds one orders one from a dealership I end up paying the $324 on the wrong one in order to take my car home for the night. As like a deposit I guess charges me labor on this one witch I don't think I should of had to pay for and a gas surcharge witch I don't think I should be paying for either. Tells me to drop it off tomorrow the dealership will have it and he will go and pick it up. I drop my car off In the morning leave it there all day call about mid day to check in on it. He then tells me they lost the window!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So now I won't have my car for another day! And it still has the wrong windshield in it at this point I'm am very mad. He ends up telling me that they should now have it tomorrow morning around 7 and he will go and pick it up. I was like okay. I end up getting the dealerships number calling them and making sure they are going to have it. I End up leaving it there over night. Calling dealership at 7am in the morning and making sure they have it. they FINALLY DID and josh was already there to pick it up. I end up getting my car back with the right window in it at 9 the next morning very happy (I love my car a lot) now to only pay 720 dollars even tho they messed up tried to charge me labor twice and a gas surcharge I still feel like they owe me $85 dollars and $9 back for the first and second window since they messed up this bad and was like I know there's nothing you can really do to even get out of this situation since the glued the wrong window in my car! Not the mention I'm there are still little glass pieces in my car. Just mad about it. But also very glad to finally have my car back. I got to drive it home Saturday. I will give it a 2 maybe 3 stars though. His attitude was calm the whole time. He did seem to care about the situation a little. And I appreciated he waking up that early to go and get my window. ( the rest was a nightmare though). I fell like if you come here with a really old car they got you and you shouldn't have any problems but if it is like a "16 or newer. I wouldn't take it here. Also I forgot to mention the whole time I was in the waiting room there had seemed to be a problem with every car that came in. They couldn't do this or get that or ect. Best bet is just calling safelight it taking it to an actual dealership because they won't charge you for there mistake and would only charge for the window itself after a mess up like this. read more

Had my rear quarter panel window on my truck broken into and completely busted one morning. Called around Indy for prices, and Auto Glass Now was by far the cheapest for a new window. Safelite, and several other places were upwards of $275 and even past $300 for such a small window. Called AGN, and they would have replaced the window the same day, but my schedule was booked. So they replaced it the very next morning in their heated garage, take about an hour and a half, and it looks great now. They even matched the tent that my other windows have already. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone! We had an appointment at 1pm for a windshield replacement which they said they could get right in. We returned at 3:30 and they said it was almost done. 4:00 I asked if the car was almost done and they replied, "it'll be another 45 minutes because they had to go get a windshield for the car".... 4hrs total. They sent my windshield to the wrong location. Was planning on waiting but because of the delay I had to leave my vehicle with them. When I went back to pick it up the first thing I noticed was my gas cap was missing on my Jeep. They were gone for the day so I stuck a note under their door. The next day I didn't hear back so I called, spoke with the manager. She assured me someone would call. A week later I heard nothing so I called. Had to have my passenger window replaced after a break in and, after reading Google reviews and calling around for quotes, took my car to Auto Glass Now. It took over 2 1/2 hours, even with an appointment, to replace the window. Drove home and found a 2-foot long rod of metal wedged next to the passenger seat and heard the sound of rattling glass inside the door whenever I opened and closed it. Drove straight back to the shop. The sound is gone but now my power window controls won't work. The technician said "it's a faulty switch," that they had nothing to do with the problem. read more

Would not recommend this place. I called and made a appointment on Tuesday and they told me they would be out on Thursday to fix my driver side window. He came out to fix it and when he took my panel off my door he didn't put something back right and my door wouldn't open from the inside. I called the office and spoke with Crystal who was very rude and told me I needed to bring it in to get it fixed because my "boyfriend" signed off on the job. There's a reason I got the mobile services in the first place(because I work during the hours). Then I spoke with the GM who told me they would be out the NEXT day between 9-10am to fix the issue with my door. It was 11am and no call I called him and he said "our tech called you and you didn't answer you need to come to the shop". What kind of customer service is this? BTW the tech NEVER called me. The GM finally called me back AFTER I called my insurance company and told them not to pay them until they fix my door that they broke. He told me that he gave the tech the wrong number and that's why he never called me. Now my door is fixed I still have broken glass in my door and in my weather stripping that's scratching my new window. Do yourself a favor and NEVER go here!!!! read more

You get what you pay for or get what you would have paid for if they had even started working on your car. I made an appointment last week to have my windshield replaced. I called the day before to see if I could drop the car off before they opened because I had to be at work at 7:00 a.m. The person I spoke with said yes, and I could put the key in the drop box. A friend I work with met me at the shop, and I dropped my car off before work. I called around 2:30 p.m to see if my car was finished, only to be immediately placed on hold for about 10 minutes. I hung up and called back because I thought the person forgot I was on hold. I called back shortly after that, but to my surprise, the employees didn't even realize my car was there. I was on hold for about another 10 minutes before the person I spoke with said she couldn't find where I had scheduled the appointment. She said she would try to get management to the office to see if she could get the car finished. After about 30 minutes, I realized if she didn't remember talking to me then maybe she didn't remember the price she quoted me. I called back and spoke with another person who was equally confused as the first person I talked to but did see where I had scheduled my appointment for 8:00 that day. She put me on hold for about 10 minutes, and the first person I had talked to got on the phone to tell me they couldn't do my car because they didn't have the right window. She asks if I wanted to reschedule. I said NO! I had to ask my sister to drive 45 minutes out of her way to take me to pick up my car. When I went to get my keys, the employee initially wasn't able to locate them. She couldn't even reach the person who she said had my keys. Not once was anyone sorry for wasting my time, my co-workers time, or my sister's time. I never received any type of apology and they didn't do anything to try to make their mistake right.
