    Molding not in properly.

    My first experience many years ago (86th St location) I had no issues when I had my front windshield repaired. Until recently this year when the back windshield of my car shattered - while driving :( That was a stressful moment in itself. That day I made an appointment online to go into the shop. They were able to get it fixed within a couple of hours of my appointment time. No issues until I used my trunk a couple of weeks from when it was repaired. First, there were random pieces of glass that was not cleaned out of the trunk. Secondly, there was shattered glass inside the trunk door panel - you could hear it moving around when it opened/closed. Third issue I had was that the trunk door started having issues with staying properly closed. It was not latching and locking properly - this was noticed when going to the airport with 2 suitcases in the trunk. I had to turn back home and use a family member's car because the dashboard notification kept beeping and blinking saying that the "trunk gate" is open - so yes, we had to drive it back with the door not properly shut. (I basically was driving my car with a trunk door that kept popping open until I was able to get it fixed from the dealership). I wasn't able to contact them until I came back from the work trip I was traveling for. I went back in for them to take a look at what was going on - they were able to get the glass out from the trunk panel but I was still having issues with the trunk not closing and latching properly. I had also noticed that the molding was not installed properly - they ended up replacing the windshield and the molding was still not installed properly. They pulled out the molding and said they would order me a new one - which they never called me back for. After all this, I was still having issues so the third time around they came to my house to take a look at it. The technician did find more glass inside the lock/latching system and was able to get it cleaned out. By this time the latch/locking system had already been damaged and there was not much else they could do about it. The entire process from talking with my insurance and Safelite Customer Service to the local shop was time consuming. Trying to get a hold of the manager of the local shop was an ordeal as well - customer service sent the manager an email requesting that he call me and I never heard anything until the front desk associate in the shop had to reach him on his cell where he called me after hours so that he could get a technician to schedule an appointment for the technician to come out (on that third time). And like I said before, they still have not called me for the molding part that they claimed they ordered from the manufacturer. I would not recommend this location for repairs.

    A rock hit my windshield while driving on the freeway. I was able to get an appointment that fit my needs in the afternoon. It was a fill in and not a whole windshield replacement. The safe lite guy gave me a call in the morning to ask if he could swing by earlier in the day since he was in the area. It worked for me, so of course! Understandable since gas is SO expensive. The repair was easy and short, and better than other ding windshield fixes I've had in the past. No dirt permanently incrusted in the fix. I'm happy with the customer service and end product. Thank you so much!

    Worked out well but they didn't calibrate my auto wipers quite right afterwards but they squeezed me in to fix that later

    UPDATE: I sent an email per their request. NO RESPONSE. No email. No phone call. I still have no idea if I will ever actually get my Mercedes back, and I have no confidence it will pass Mercedes certification. These guys couldn't even order parts properly, and every time they try to reassemble the vehicle, they realize they forgot to order EVEN MORE parts and have to take it apart again. Please, just admit you have ruined my car, and admit to Progressive that you are not able to do the work. This has become a never-ending nightmare. My pristine 2022 GLC 300 with fewer than 15,000 miles has been reduced to junk.

    Don't go there because they are liear. I left my car to fix driver side back door and they told me…read morethat they will try to fix it but not grantee and gave me 4 to 5 hours time window and I was okay for that. I had scheduled on Friday morning at 7:30 am, so I dropped my car Thursday night. I called them around 2pm to find out the status and they told me that their technician tried to fix but he couldn't and they will try again to fix it and will call me in 2 hours. They didn't call me I called them again to find out the status, so they said they can't fix it. So I can pickup my car at 4:30pm, but when I got there then I noticed that no one touched my car to fix, I told that front desk guy but he was lying that his technician tried to fix it, but I have proofs to show their manager if they want.
