The employees took to there freedom of religion/health/rights to not wear masks or gloves while handling vehicles or sanitizing them after they were finished; my car was scratch and left dirty; all minor and was due to removing the windshield. A terabyte of storage costs less than $25.00 and that would by my estimate save close to 1.5 to the 8th power of invoices - that's 150 MILLION invoices which at 70 per day would take about 6 MILLION YEARS to fill up. I haven't been lied to like that in a LONG TIME. AVOID at all costs. Their policies are intentionally designed to defraud the public. read more

This place had the best prices but I wish I had just paid the extra amount to go somewhere else. This was the WORST experience. Their communication was horrible, the techs scratched the car on both sides of the windshield (the company wouldn't fix it and didn't reimburse me anything), they left broken glass and razors all over my garage, the seal around the edge of the windshield doesn't lie flat anymore, and the windshield is super flimsy and cracked within a year. Afterward the windshield seal leaked a bit in the corner so I brought it back. Honestly, I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Don't even bother. Everything about this place sucks. Lets start with the customer service. Both women who work in the from have disgusting attitudes and are EXTREMELY unprofessional. Brought my car in Thursday, was told it would be ready by 4pm the next day. The next day comes and they call at 4pm saying the wrong window came in. They said Tuesday by 4pm. Tuesday comes along I call to check around 3pm, they say something happened with the delivery, tomorrow at 4pm it should be done. I go pick up my car at 4pm the next day, I open and shut my door and you can hear a whole bunch of glass inside of the door. It sounds like a baby rattle. I had to change the driver side glass in my truck 2018 Freightliner. I had already called on the phone and explained that I had the glass just needed them to switch it out. The girl on the phone had already said that they would charge me $200 to replace the glass. I took my truck up to the shop dropped it off when I came back to pick up the truck 3 hours later like she told me to. The heavy set white lady behind the counter said that they can't touch my glass because it had some glue on the seals. I explained that was just silicone sealant but she still refused to change the glass. But what it was she just did not want to do the job for $200. The next day I went to Safelite Auto Glass repair they had my glass changed out and me back on the road in just 2 hours. There was a car in their parking lot that had been wrecked and they were changing that windshield. But you don't want to touch mine because I have glue around the seals? I'm glad it was fair price for a windshield, but that was not what I had asked for and wanted to pay. Auto Glass Now has a low price but the work quality falls short. After having my VIN and all vehicle information they did not order parts in advance for my appointment. They said one hour to complete. I got there a little early but my car sat outside for nearly thirty minutes after my appointment time. Then they got the wrong windshield for a four door sedan and tried to install it, my car is a convertible. By the time they got finished it was over three hours, and they provide very little communication while I waited. When they were finally finished the job was not done. There was adhesive on the paint, the molding was not installed flush and lower valence panel was reinstalled incorrectly. They told me I must come back in a few days when the adhesive had cured so they could fix things. I asked them to get the parts and set an appointment for the following week. When I arrived second time once again they did not have the parts. Then I was told the adhesive was not cured enough and I would have to come back later when a senior technician was there. I waited 40 minutes for nothing. The plan was to remove the windshield again, who knows how that would turn out. I ended up fixing everything myself, what a mess they made chipping the paint with windshield removal tools and excessive adhesive. Removing that excess adhesive, which was still not fully cured after 1.5 weeks, is a slow and tedious process using razor blades and solvent . I had to touch up the paint, lucky it was all hidden under the molding. Several hours on my part to clean up their sloppy work. They also ended up charging me $9.65 more than quoted. It was labeled "SU" on the bill, I was told it was a fee for delivery of the parts and disposal of the old windshield. I have an email from them that said there would be no other "add-ons" to the price except tax. While I was sitting there several hours in my visits I heard them give many quotes, they never mentioned this fee to anyone. I think they do this intentionally thinking people do not know how to calculate sales tax and will not notice this item on the bill. When I asked for a $9.65 refund online they refused. It would be very easy to add this fee to the online quote system and avoid the false advertising. My total bill after a quote of $220 ($170 parts and $50 labor) ended up being $245.61 with SU fee and 7.25% sales tax. I had a complete itemized quote from another company to come to my house and replace the windshield for $86 more. They guaranteed to use all new parts and clips, not gluing anything back together. In hindsight I should have used that company instead. Bottom line Auto Glass Now may be okay for and inexpensive option on an older beat up car. I would not take a nice car there again. Just beware of the quality level you are getting and the extra costs. read more

These people are pros. They came highly recommended by Atlantic Tire in Cary and it was well worth the trip to Raleigh to have the rear window replaced on my 1997 Minivan. One of the worst experiences I have ever been through. We took our car to have read windshield replaced and they returned it with the interior sawed away, a dent in the rear quarter panel, and a total of $900 worth of damage. After months of trying to get this fixed they essentially told me they weren't responsible for it and they "had tapes to prove it" both of which are lies. On 6/25/2011 I had my windshield replaced by Glass Masters, which is now known as Auto Glass Now (same ownership). On 3/29/2016 I had my car checked out by an independent BMW auto repair shop for water intrusion into the passenger foot well. They found that water was coming into the foot well "because plastic molding was not secured to windshield, excessive urethane, and missing supporting ledge that cowl attaches to." Over time the urethane failed resulting in a water leak into the AC blower motor, which incidentally I had to replace in February of 2014. I have pictures of the windshield work and it is horrible! The molding was never replaced; obviously a shortcut was taken. When I called the shop this morning I was told that the lifetime warranty currently offered to customers has only been effective since January of 2014. "Joe" told me that I could go purchase the molding and they would attempt a repair as a courtesy but if the windshield had to be removed in the process of repairing the work, I would be charged for the expense. Joe indicated that the technician who worked on my car, Mike, is no longer employed there as his work was "not impressive." Upon further investigation I found out that the missing molding is U-channel shaped and goes up under the bottom of the windshield across its entire length. The cowl snaps onto it. It is not likely that they can simply scrape off the urethane and slide the molding underneath the windshield. So bottom line is I have to purchase the molding they removed and then probably pay for reinstallation of the windshield OR AS I WILL DO, TAKE IT TO ANOTHER SHOP. Folks - You get what you pay for. I've had three car windshields replaced by these people and never again. I believe the technician broke the molding when he removed the windshield and instead of paying $15 to replace the part, he just gooped up a bunch of silicone. Buyer beware! read more

Have not been in a rainstorm with my replaced windshield so cannot attest to how well it was done. My vehicle had extra caulk and the tape still all over it when I picked it up. IF you take your vehicle here, do a walk around and take PHOTOS before you leave it there. The front light was broken and there was still loose glass. My mistake for not doing a walk around before I left. I noticed a couple hours later at home and called . The woman said she would report it and get back in touch with me. She did not. I called back and spoke to manager who said they would have to pull video and would get back to me. She did not. I called and she said her manager said because I did not notice it before I left, they will not pay and referred me to the district manager. Said they had not had time to look at video. Not believable to me. The she went on the offensive saying that I drove it around all weekend before reporting. I did not. In fact, it was not driven at all. When I called her on that she said I was the one yelling at her. Upset, yes. Yelling, no.
