I had a chipped window "repaired". The technician spent 40 minutes or so repairing the wrong chip, that I didn't even notice was there. When I told him it was the wrong one he got very annoyed with me and "repaired" the correct chip magically in 10 minutes. Much to no surprise, the chipped cracked a few weeks later. THEY DON'T GIVE REFUNDS! They offer to take the repair price off of the price of a windshield replacement. which still cost more than Safelite. Truly the most unprofessional experience I have ever had at any service provider. I left the car first thing in the morning and called to check on it at an appropriate time (2:30 p.m.) then check again at 3:45 to check on progress of the repair to my 2025 Audi Q7. The district manager was annoyed with me checking so to get me off the phone she said they were working on it then. I still had not heard anything at 4:30 and I knew they were going to close so I took an Uber to make sure I got it back the same day for a doctor's appointment the next morning. When I arrived, it was clear they had not been working on it as she indicated. She said they were "one the phone with recalibration" but the repairman told me himself he had just started. I asked the district manager for the regional manager's email or phone number. The district manager indicated she was not allowed to provider that information to me, than she had to send the message. I waited outside for the repairs to be completed. Once completed, I went inside to ask to test drive the car with the safety features. The district manager said they would not let me drive my car until I paid and blocked my car in with two other cars and opened my car doors for other to steal from it while she left it unattended as if I would drive off without paying. I had already paid 50% for Audi glass to ensure all of the safety features/warranty would be voided. I even offered for someone to ride with me to check it. I ended up having to contact the police and file a report about them. I also contacted corporate when the problem began so I really think she was just retaliating against me. read more

I called Auto Glass Now for a quote to replace my windshield. The price was very good - $220 less than the national windshield company. It's first come, first served on Saturdays so I got there early. The rude woman at the counter was yelling at the customer in front of me. It was obvious she was in a bad mood. She yelled at me without even looking at me. Nope! I walked out. The lobby area was filthy and the parking lot didn't look much better. A little soap and trash pick up would do wonders for this place. read more

We took in my newer Ford Bronco to get a window replaced. When we called they said it would be 25 minutes to fix the window. When we showed up we sat and waited for 3 hours before they started my car, and was skipped in line numerous times. When they started my car, they spent 20 minutes on my car before I heard a loud shatter. 10 minutes later they decided to come and let me know that they shattered my glass and I would have to come back at the end of the week. They put on "crash wrap" that was supposed to last until then, and fell off 5 minutes after driving. It was when I pulled over to fix the crash wrap that I had noticed large chunks of glass on the roof of my car. We returned later that week to get the glass repaired again, where I was promised I would be moved to the front of the line. I waited for 2 hours before they started working on my car. They spent 45 minutes back there when the quoted 25 minutes for the job. When we got my car back we noticed a number of issues with the vehicle that were not there before we brought it into the shop. - damaged paint, scratched, chips, scuffs - chip in another window -damaged step -damage to interior plastic panel (from tech not know how to disassemble door properly) And window was installed improperly, there for would not seal, leaked and extra wind noise. We brought the vehicle back to the shop immediately after for them to inspect the damages where they refused all liability and said it was like that before. We called later to ask again what they would do to repair damages, where I got hung up on by Emily the store manager. I called corporate approximately 5 times and was supposed to hear from the district manager Misty. When she finally decided to call me she again denied all liability and acted as though she was there for the incident. They refused to pay for any repairs of any kind and the only kind of refund offered was a repo of the window. By far the worst experience I have ever had with a vehicle repair shop. If you like to keep your vehicle nice you would be better off ordering the glass and doing it at home with some you tube training. 0/5 stars. read more

I have a 2021 Jeep and had to replace my windshield recently. I was quoted a price and scheduled my appointment online through the Auto Glass Now website. I scheduled for a morning appointment (between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m.) as I had an afternoon appointment I needed to go to that afternoon. The day of the appointment I waited around for my notice the tech was headed my way and did not receive one. I called the 800 number and was told by the rep that after checking with the local store a tech was headed my way. Two hours later and well after 12 p.m. the tech let me know they were headed my way. The install was no issue and he was extremely polite. However, after asking about the morning appointment, he told me they do not set times for morning or afternoon and the corporate website knows that! Why would you offer those times slots if they are not adhered to? I understand not offering exact time slots but a general time (morning or afternoon) would help and if the local shops don't offer that then corporate shouldn't either! read more

My advice is to make sure you know what you need ahead of time, and understand your insurance coverage! That way Misty does not need to get involved and come to your rescue! My windshield cracked on a Saturday morning. I called my insurance (Progressive) immediately, expecting everything to be 100% covered. Well, my plan does not include comprehensive glass coverage as Georgia does not require this (most other states do). I would have to pay my deductible for the windshield, and they would cover the balance. They put me through to glass claims, which is run by Safelite. I was told I had to go in person to a shop to get this fixed as my car is new (2021 Honda), and the safety features had to be recalibrated. Progressive sent the referral to Auto Glass Now, who called within the hour to schedule my appointment. They give you an appointment date, and the time is up to you. The work is completed first come first serve, so you might have to wait a while if there are other cars ahead of you. This is my only gripe here as I spent hours waiting for my car to be done (twice). Thankfully there is a Dunkin Donuts directly across the street with Wi-Fi, so I was able to post up there for a little while. I'm sure Auto Glass Now installed whatever my insurance company referred them to do. There was a very obvious sign at the front desk stating this shop does not do recalibrations. I asked about this, and was advised to go to the dealership for this. They also explained that Safelite disconnects all the safety feature wiring when they do replacements, and Auto Glass Now only dismounts the camera from the windshield, so I might not need the recalibration. (and at the end of the story, it did not need to be recalibrated). The next day, I went to Grainger Honda on Chatham Parkway (see my review on their page if you want to follow my saga along *eyeroll*). They told me the safety features were not going to work because I now had an after market windshield. They gave me a quote for how much the Honda brand windshield and the recalibration would cost (over $1,800!). At this point, I was so distraught and my fiancé took over my situation. Somehow he and Misty worked some kind of magic where Progressive would pay for Auto Glass to replace the new windshield with a Honda brand one. It was ordered immediately and installed on the next business day, with no additional cost to me. I cannot thank Misty enough for being so patient and flexible with my situation! These kinds of car troubles can be really difficult and she made this such a smooth process. read more

Once there, the agent in office informed me that she do not honor any previously made appointments, and their service is on first-come basis only. Surprised! I decided to wait and left our car there, since "there was one car ahead of you". Went back at 1:00 PM. She still had no idea when they'd repair my car since "there was one car ahead of you"! The replacement glass was ordered wrong by the office staff and the technician had to come back out to complete the job but they made every effort to do so at our convenience. Jake showed up on time and was great at communicating the process to me and had my trucks windshield replaced in no time. He went above and beyond to inform me of the do's and don'ts for the next few days and even gave me some great advice for my windows squeaking while the roll up and down. 5 star service all around. You guys did amazing on my windshield!! They get the windshield glass from a nearby warehouse. During my visit, the glass that was sent to them was chipped & scratched already but they quickly alerted me to this problem & went to pick up a new piece of glass. I believe the reviews are so bad because they are truly overworked! They deserve better than what they are getting currently. Don't to go Auto Glass Now on Derenne and Montgomery. If they damage your car, they feel no obligation to make it right. In May 2020 I had them replace a windshield. They broke the outside A pillar trim. Instead of bringing the problem to my attention, they slopped some glue on it. I spotted the problem immediately, brought it to their attention, and the manager just shrugged her shoulders. I suggested that maybe they pay for the replacement trim and I'd install it myself. She said that they were not responsible for the damage. It was especially slimy to fail to tell me of the damage. If I had found it later, that would allowed them to deny everything. I just had my passenger window replaced. I can't really comment on that yet as it was just a few days ago but the facility is downtrodden and looks like it's been condemned. There are weeds everywhere and broken signage. The office is filthy. The receptionist tried their best. I imagine working in such an environment is not very satisfying. I am definitely going back to Safelite next time. They have clean bright reception areas and amazing customer service. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER! Unprofessional workers and environment, the waiting area is filthy. Feels equivalent to waiting in a run down grease monkey garage. I can't express just how bad this place and my experience was. 1 star is too much for this place. The workers lied about the waiting time and I continued to get pushed to the end of the "waiting line" which wasn't organized. Also don't forget to park in the alley on the side of the building. Do not waste your time. They do not honor your appointment. They do not value customer service. You will wait all day. It's not worth the hassle. I had an 8am appt and it threw off my whole day because I was told the service would only take an hour. Well, when I arrived, I was told the previous night they had not finished 4 of their orders... bad business! Then they already had other people waiting. 4 hours later I still didn't have my car. And I saw other people walk in upset as well because they too had appointments that weren't honored. They may need to look at new management. The guy who did the work, "Dunk" was very professional and explained what my options were. The front office staff were adequate but could use a little polish. The place is a mess, even for a business that deals in broken glass. You may save yourself $100 compared to Safe whoever, I did, but the surroundings reflect it. Terrible experience. Broken glass inside the cab, bed, ground that I didn't get up and when it rains, glass went all over my driveway! Window leaks like crazy now. Glue looks like it was put on by a child. Glue ask over my bed. Looks like they drug a screwdriver asking the window cause I have severe scratches now. Broken razor blades inside the cab floor. Inside trim looks like it was trimmed with a blade leaving a jagged edge. Spoke to manager and was assured someone would come and patch the window into I get it to them. Day later nothing. Have towels inside the cab. And worst, I have to now take the truck to them to fix their screw ups.....which isn't possible as the truck is undrivable right now. read more

GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE! Pictures speak louder than words and as such I feel it is not necessary to write beyond the obvious VISIBLE DAMAGE to my Lexus RX350. First things first is that my vehicle was in pristine condition before it went inside the Auto Glass Shop garage bay for a windshield replacement. It is almost as if there was an additional layer of malicious intent to deliberately damage my SUV. That last statement has me as confused as anyone else who will read this because, I came to this shop in an effort to pay money and provide them business but was treated in a manner no business should ever treat any customer. Suppose making a list of the items and numbering them will help keep organization to absolute destruction Auto Glass Now sought towards my SUV. 1) Brand new windshield has visible scratches on the interior side. How does a brand new windshield get scratched on the interior portion during the installation? 2) The adhesive used to install the windshield was handled in a manner so sloppy that it got spilled onto my SUV's exterior paint job. This will require a light sand job, resurfacing and repainting in order to repair. Once cured, the adhesive can not be simply removed with something like "Goo-Gone" or "Isopropyl Alcohol," 3) Number 3 was not in the pictures because my husband cleaned as best possible the damage before I could see it and that is the driver and passenger side entry step wells. It literally looked like the shop tech went and jumped in mud puddles and then proceeded to clean the mud boots inside my SUV. This part really confuses me because it had not rained for days at this point and the shop and surrounding bay were all contained within a cemented driveway type of area. How does a tech produce the amount of mud that was left in my SUV and then return the SUV as though something like, "maybe they wont notice?" 4) NUMBER 4 IS CERTAINLY THE WORST FOR LAST PART OF THIS ENTIRE NIGHTMARE!, BOTH THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE PILLAR TRIM PANELS (WHICH ALSO BOTH HOUSE SAFETY AIR BAGS) WERE SHREDDED, PITTED, AND MARKED WITH LIKE A COMBINATION OF GLUE AND TAR???? The quote or pricing seen on the sticky note picture is how much both the driver and passenger side Pillar trim panels will cost. That total does not include the cost of labor to remove and install the both pillar trim panels. We received this quote from a local auto upholstery shop. This company has dodged and made every effort to not only deny they damaged my SUV but then proceed to lie about working with us to get it fixed. If you are in need of having your windshield replaced then it would be in your best interests to go ANYWHERE BUT HERE!! UNPROFESSIONAL WORK, SLOPPY, LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY, LIES, DECEIPT, GARBAGE. My son had his back glass replaced two months ago and it started leaking a week ago. He went back there to have them look at it and they would not honor the warranty because he misplaced his paper they gave him for the warranty. I called and spoke to the manager who was extremely rude and actually hung up on me. I would not recommend this place. I don't understand how they don't have this information stored in their system because I'm sure he is not the only one who has misplaced the paperwork at some point. I had a chip about the size of a nickel on my windshield and they repaired it quite well as it is hardly noticeable anymore. It didn't require an appointment and I was in and out in about 45 minutes. The price for any chip repair is $49. The shop is not in a nice part of town and seems sketchy. Girls...bring a friend or send your man to have the work done. I wouldn't want my daughter there alone. Shattered glass covers a portion of the parking lot and should be swept up. read more
