This is by far the worst shop to take your vehicle to. I put my Infiniti q60 in there July 9th because they said they could fix the damage after having 3 different estimates. That said it could be 3-4 weeks after 3 weeks I hear no word from them. They kept putting me on hold and being a pain in the ass to speak to. I figured out that they haven't touched the vehicle. But they decided to take off parts that they couldn't put back on. I come to pick it up and they left it in a terrible condition with pink marks that stained the paint due to the sun. Missing tail lights, rocker molding off, no weather stripping, a messed up mirror, my sensors were off and no door panel and they allmost had no clue on how to put it back together. They allmost totaled it out due to having a bolt stripped out. The original cost was 16 thousand and then they decided that that stripped bolt was not replaceable. they wanted to replace a whole panel and that brought it up to 23 thousand. I went to another shop and they said they could fix it no charge. This took 5 weeks and they did nothing but break things and make my car not drivable. My insurance has black listed this place from all services due to their lack of competence and communication. I dropped my truck off in Dec 2024 to have work done in my front end. They did finish early, but I had to bring it back because they put two different color lights on i. How does that happen?! I would assume when you finish something you look over it before returning to customer I guess not. A few weeks later I noticed my front bumper was at a slight angle, I would look at other trucks and then looked at the picture when I got the truck. Once I had time to bring it in they set an appointment and just looked at it saying they don't know how that happened, I was wondering the same thing, but with the lights issues I wasn't surprised. they schedule an appointment for me to bring it back in three weeks. So now I'm waiting to take it back to get it fixed. I'm not bad mouthing the company because even with the issues the work quality was good and I've used them before. I've been fighting with my insurance company and Gerber, body shop that did repairs on my car and messed it up. The body shop said I must have been rear ended and had bad work done on the car, now the door sticks out- but it was never like that before. I have NEVER been rear ended and my door did not stick out prior to it being towed to Gerber. 98% of the nonsense that these people tell you is a complete lie. The work they did is half assed, they are incredibly rude and they act like they are doing you a huge favor. read more

My husband truck has been here for a month ! The company is scamming for sure !! At first we were getting updated frequently but after week two all communication stopped . We would only receive " your vehicle is more than half way done " auto-messages. We had a very hard time getting in touch with someone! The receptionist refused to connect us with the claim adjuster which was very odd. Finally got in touch with someone today and found out They have inquired three separate from our insurance company which one was with out our knowledge completely. We was told they needed to keep his truck an additional two weeks ! We refused and they told us we have to contact our insurance. We did and Comes to find out , they got a third check from out insurance for an "accident" they discovered that happened prior to our ownership!!. 4 weeks later and the truck is still not repaired ! Paint still not done but they got the money for that in the first check ! We are pulling our vehicle ! Beware of these scammers . Go else where read more

I can't remember the last time I have given a business a negative review, but others need to know about the poor repair work Gerber Collision in Savannah, GA tried to pull off. I took my 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander in for repair after hitting a tree in the median after hurricane Matthew. When I got the vehicle back, both the headlights and fog lights were so poorly aimed that I couldn't see to drive at night. I contacted GEICO, my insurance company, and explained that I did not have time to drive almost 2 1/2 hours during the week (the business is not open on weekends) and leave my vehicle ---- again. GEICO directed me to contact a local body shop of my choice to have the work done. I did. The manager looked at the vehicle after I brought it in. After raising the hood, we saw screws that were half way tightened in order to pull the fascia over, missing rivets, a torn strip and epoxy around the headlight. (I have photographs.) It looked a kindergartener was allowed to work on my vehicle. After removal of the fascia, the second collision center found damage to the radiator that was marked by Gerber Collision, but not fixed, replaced or noted on the accident report. (They have photographs as well.) Now, GEICO is giving both me and the second collision center pushback about fixing the repair thoroughly and correctly. I spent 20 minutes on the phone last week with an adjustor who whined about how difficult I was making his job. I surmise GEICO wants to keep the relationship with Gerber Collision so they can continue to put forth minimal effort to placate their customers and keep repair costs at an absolute minimum, regardless of the completeness and quality of the repairs. Do not be directed to this business unless you want incomplete and substandard repairs. As a consumer, you have the right to use a repair center of your choice, not one the insurance company directs you to. The staff is pleasant, although the technician(s) working on my vehicle, by all demonstrations, are incompetent. read more

Went for a Geico claim. Service was fast and efficient. They were very helpful through the whole Geico process explaining every step. Our car had multiple scratches from a weird spray rock avalanche. Originally some scratches were covered and some were not. After complaining, all scratches were covered. I think that was more of a Geico problem. The car was ready 2 days early. read more

I have some many things to say about this place. First the customer service is horrible and I mean horrible. This is by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. I work in customer service and I know what you have to do to retain and satisfy customers, but this place does not sadly. I had to call ever day to get updates on my vehicle. I had to provide my phone number ever time I called even after a month of calling at some point you need to learn your customers and keep a file on them. I never received a called back when I was told I would this place only called me 2 times out of 31 days. The lady Melissa there asked me if I wanted to get some additional damages fixed on my vehicle that were not insurance related and I told her no. She then told me my vehicle would take nine days to repair after it had already been sitting in the shop for 2 weeks with nothing even taken a part on the vehicle, mind you I made an appointment to have my vehicle fixed. You know what she did next, she goes and calls the insurance company saying it looks like more damages can you come back and check the vehicle out, without even asking me. I then call back a few days later to make sure my vehicle is on track to being completed and I was told that it would be fixed by Tuesday. So I waited and waited and was being patient and polite, until Tuesday came I called to see when I could pick my vehicle up and the lady at the front desk asked me did anyone call you to come get it? and im like yes someone did and now all of a suddenly she doesn't know anything and my vehicle is still dismantled. At this point I'm livid!! Because I just waited 3 weeks to get my vehicle and it still isnt done I was told that my vehicle was in paint but when I showed up at the shop literally nothing had been done. I called my insurance adjuster to see what is going on and the insurance lady said they had to send another progressive claims estimator out because of some additional damages that I wanted repaired!!! Im like at a 10 right now on the pissed off scale, but I specifically told Melissa I DO NOT WANT ANYTHING ELSE FIXED OTHER THAN WHAT I BROUGHT MY VEHICLE IN FOR!! So im pissed because I basically was getting decisions made about my car without even a phone call. When I went up there I made Melissa go pull all them records of when we talked and guess how many times I talked to her 1!!!!! Hahahh. Yeah don't take your car here. I eventually talked to the GM Austin and he actually seemed genuinely concerned about the matter and made them start fixing my car immediately and you know how long it took to fix 3 DAYS!!!! I don't understand why I couldn't have my vehicle fixed sooner when all it took to fix was 3 days. I took my vehicle here on July 6 and go my car back on August 6. My advise to Austin the GM is he needs to tighten up on them ladies he got working in the front off because its more to customer service than a friendly voice and nice smile. Front desk staff is polite, and repair was done, but overall I would discourage anyone from going here. Just a few issues I experienced: *Services completed a week late *Not contacted when issues came up that caused delays *Belongings missing from driver side in vehicle *Not notified that detailing would be done after repairs were completed so that car could be emptied by owner (not thrown in a box left in the trunk) *Damage to all knobs on dashboard controlling A/C and Radio *Now my car is two different colors because they didn't even match the paint correctly! I was not told this was something they had difficulty doing and asked what I would prefer doing about it. All of these issues were pointed out at time of pick up and management was informed. I filled out every survey/review reminding them I was dissatisfied. Still have not heard back about reimbursing, fixing, replacing or even just apologizing for the fact that I have a car with more issues than when I dropped off for repair. I went to the Gerber Collision and Glass website and placed an online order for a mobile windshield replacement to come to my Savannah office, which is only a mile or two from there Abercorn location. I got my emailed appointment confirmation and was good to do. A little later I called to give them a cell phone number, in case they needed to reach me on the day of the service. I was told that the Savannah location did not do any auto glass replacement, and that I didn't have a reservation. I thought that seemed odd, for a place called "Gerber Collision and Glass" to not actually do any glass work. So I called the number for the Savannah location, and was connected to the regional office instead. When I asked them why they didn't do glass, I was disconnected. So I called back and instead asked to schedule a windshield replacement appointment. Midway through the process I was informed again that they didn't do glass service in Savannah. But they offered to connect me to the local office. So I asked the local office and they said that they subcontract all their glass work to Alan's Auto Glass. So I give them low marks for setting up an appointment that they were not going to meet, and for being generally obfuscatory as to the services they provide. read more

The team kept me updated at each step of the process and their estimate for the finish date was spot on. They were very professional in my interactions with them. My one complaint is that the backseat of my car was absolutely filthy when I got my car back. It was not in that condition when I dropped it off. I don't understand why anyone would even be in the back seat since the damage being repaired was on the bumper. I can say that I am extremely happy with this place. After a minor inconvenience with our initial visit, I was told they would redo the service. After a week longer in the shop all I can say is WOW. Not only did the car turn out perfect but they went above and beyond with their customer service. The supervisor apologized to me directly, they also went that extra step and threw in a few boxes of cupcakes, which I'm about to tackle tonight. These folks are really professional. We are from New England, and on a vacation trip our car was hit by a piece of retread that someone else clipped. It totally destroyed the front end of our Honda Accord, as well as damaging the radiator support piece and the air conditioning unit. The communication I got from Ashley, who handled our work, was first class. She called me at least once a day to update me on the progress, which was key, since I had to schedule a flight back down to pick up the car. The work was done when they promised, the quality was outstanding, and their were no surprises. A great group of people, and Ashley is just outstanding, I couldn't recommend them more highly. read more
