They blew me off and stranded me. I brought my car in on Friday to diagnose an issue. Since their yelp listing shows a customer shuttle, thought I'd try them vs the dealer. They drove me home after a while when someone came in to work. Since I needed a ride back to the shop and hadn't heard from them, at 4:50 I called and they said they were unable to replicate the issue and I could come get it or let them keep it until Monday. I said I needed the car and couldn't leave it and needed them to pick me back up. They said they'd call me when they were on their way. They didn't call. Mailbox isn't set up. No call forwarding. So I currently have no car and had to cancel plans, but who needs a car in Texas? /s This complete lack of respect is disgusting. read more

The owner of auto Improvements advised the a/c was damaged in a previous accident and was never repaired correctly at Caliber Collision. He recommended I try to get them to complete the repairs correctly. After a lot of conversations, Caliber corrected the issue....Caution..... Stay clear of Caliber Collision. Met Eddie (owner) as we dropped off my 09 Edge because AC wasn't blowing cold. I was planning to take it to Browns based on all their good reviews on Yelp but Auto Improvement could get me in 2 days earlier so I decided to try them. Eddie is super nice, engaging and passionate about cars. His mechanic called me with an estimate of $650 + tax which I thought was kind of high. After the mechanic provided the diagnosis, I decided to call Browns for an estimate to see if they were comparable and was quoted $692 so I felt like I was getting a fair price with Eddie. I asked Eddie if that was his best price and when we went to pick it up he gave me a price break and charged $630 including tax! We have been taking all of our cars to Eddie and crew for years including a couple vehicles that have well over 150,000 miles. They are extremely honest and reasonable. He will not recommend a service if the cost is more than the value of a car. I'd estimate they have saved us well into the thousands of dollars compared to other mechanics we had visited. As the other review mentions, they can be a bit busy so it might be a bit longer than the bigger repair shops, but it is worth it. read more
