This review is a little overdue - I have been here twice in the last 2 years and the experience was 10/10 each time. They were able to cover a warranty from a different city tire store in 2022/2023. January 2024 Levi squeezed me in when my car dealership said I had a crack in a tire and a nail in another tire. Levi showed me the crack was superficial and the nail did not puncture the other tire. I was under the impression I would for sure have to buy 1 new tire and Levi said I was all set after triple checking it was good. It's been 3 weeks and he was right. Within the last 6 months I had my P/U in for an Front End Alignment and just yesterday had my FIL's Mini Van in for an A/C problem, very happy with cost and quality. I went into this place two times with a span of five months. Each time it was because my heavy duty truck was out of alignment and pulling right as I drive down the road. Each time also I got my truck back and it was still pulling to the right as bad as it was before. Turns out I go to a diesel mechanic a couple days later after the second time, and the steering of my truck was completely loose. This is ridiculous. 150 bucks just for my truck to be the exact same way it was before. Nonsense. read more

The mechanics and front office people are honest and do their best to ensure your car receives only repairs it needs, not random stuff you don't need. Yes you are going to pay for this service. Because as always you get what you pay for. You will not be paying dealership prices which is great. But you are going to pay for labor and knowledge. Blagg's works on foreign and domestic cars, which is fantastic. Also while your car is in the shop you can either hang out there with free WiFi or take a Jaunt down Grapevine Main Street. I am new to Grapevine, been going back to MidCities for car care. A problem with squirrels chewing my wires came up and since my car would be gone for a few days, wanted someplace local. Checked other reviews of Blagg Tire & Auto Service and they were loaded with 5 star reviews, and, since I could walk there, I tried them out. Immediately met Curtis who really took an interest in my car, seemed to really care and helped me with the insurance, etc. He was overall a great service rep, never seemed to be put out with me or in a hurry with me. I am a senior lady, 76 years old, so I was at their mercy in this new establishment. Car was ready when I was told it would be, runs great and to help with the squirrel problem I decided to install an ultrasonic rodent repeller. I bought two and told them and Curtis and Joe told me to bring it there and they would install it for me. I decided to install myself by using regular batteries and not attaching it to my car battery. I went back the next day...Curtis was on the phone and Joe stepped up and said he would check my installation. He told me it all looked good but suggested I move one away from the area I had placed it because it would get too hot....not a problem. I found them to be very welcoming, warm, eager to help and the cost was not bad either. I have now found my new mechanics and they are right around the corner. I would highly suggest to anyone, especially senior ladies who are on their own, to check out Blagg Tire & Auto for your automobile needs. They were honest, caring, and did great work. I was recommended this establishment by a nearby Offroad shop that couldn't get me in for a wheel spacer install and alignment. They fit me in and even helped me get back to my job (in same town) When they called me to tell me my truck was ready they mentioned that the instructions said I need to retorque after 50 miles. And when I came in to pick it up they reminded me again. Just tells me they follow directions and also care about the customer. So bringing it back in for that right now and the cost for the retorque they said covered by initial. I have a slight lift on my truck and they were able to get it aligned with in spec and did it with no fuss. As my factory warranty is about out I will bring my truck back here for work when needed. I took my 2006 Mustang in for a rotate and balance on my tires. I got a call from Tim concerning both of my lower ball joints being really bad. I approved the additional repairs. Had air conditioning checked. On the screen said $39.95 but charged $89.95 for logistics on air conditioning. Also, a faulty light was reset for $99.00 due to logistics and observation. The light was on when we picked up from Blagg initially. Even though I told them they caused the light to come on, they still upcharged us this ridicules amount. read more

I've used Blagg Tire since before the turn of the century for my older vehicle repair needs. They've been ethical in their many business dealings with me. I can trust them with any repair of any vehicle that I want to keep on the road after the warranty has expired. My best example is the 250k miles 3/4 ton ranch truck that I bought. This truck was junkyard bound due to the last owner, a teenager using it for a construction work and also for an off-road 4 wheel drive acrobatics toy until the entire suspension and the clutch were destroyed. Blagg replaced a fuel pump in one of the gas tanks, slave cylinder, most bushings, most suspension components, u-joints, clutch, and aligned it so it drives straight down the road again. My ranch truck was transformed from junkyard find to a classic survivor that's ready for another 1/2 million miles. Everything works in this truck now! I've got BF Goodrich mud tires, 5 speed manual tranny, 4 wheel drive with locking hubs, and 15 gears between two and four wheel drive modes. It's a dual exhaust, cattle guard, single cab, bench seat, long bed, 5th wheel workhorse. It's Not the pussssified modern, luxury, SUVtruck with a minimal bed size that most metrosexual men drive these days. HONEST HONEST HONEST !! I have been going to "Blagg Tire and Service" for almost three years now. They have done a lot of work for me on my '97 Camery. When I was buying this card used with 177,000 miles on it, they did a THREE hour inspection (program through AAA via Blagg). They got that car in PERFECT condition ! needed some work, as expected but WOW .... what a GREAT car it is NOW! I am a single girl and they have been BEYOND honest with me. Last week I took it in, thinking I needed new brakes and they assured me i did NOT need new brakes, still had 50% left. Said they were a little rusty because my car sits at the airport for long periods. They cleaned up the rust, rotated the tires for FREE, give me an "Airport Employee Discount". I only ended up paying $$ 37.00 !! Talk about HONEST !! I can not recommend them enough. read more

I was a Blagg customer when I lived in the MidCities 7 years ago. I just moved back to North Dallas from East Texas and I will now be a Blagg customer for life. It is worth the drive from North Dallas because they are always thorough, honest and do their best to give you the best possible price. Recently, my college son had a rattle from his engine. He went to a shop in Richardson that said he needed a new engine and that he had no oil in car at all. They put in one quart and sent him on his way with a $6000 quote for an engine. We went to Blagg the next day. Within a few minutes they said the problem was a crack in the oil coolant unit and that the engine would have burnt up in a few more miles had it not been fixed. For 15% of what the other shop quoted for a part, my son's car is running like new. Gary Blagg is an angel and the staff is AWESOME. read more

Are you kidding me?!? We came in for a tire alignment based of the 5 star reviews. They told us that the front shocks were bent and gave us a $600 plus estimate to straighten them out. We took it to a different tire place on Harry Hines and they informed us that the shock are factory bent to keep the tires at a slight angle to increase the cornering performance. We had then replace the tires and the shaking we had been experiencing was fixed. Don't trust this place!! read more
