Wow ok!! Sage and Hailey are amazing! Best baristas that i have ever had. I have been coming here for about a month now and now I always come when one of them is working. Amazing coffee while you wait for oil change. My dad and I have been bringing our vehicles to Bruce and Brandon for years. My 2016 charger and 2019 challenger are always well taken care of. I also love their Lotus Mimosas, and the beef hot dog was hefty - barista said they get them from Costco so you know it's the best haha. It's a really small unassuming place and the workers are always friendly and really efficient. Also surprised how big the menu is - I didn't expect them to offer sandwiches, pretzel dogs, hot dogs, chips etc alongside the standard prepackaged pastries. Went here to get my oil changed today. Did everything very quickly I would say got me in & out in like 15 mins. But then I ended up checking the oil prior to leaving and from my pics below you can see how DARK and DIRTY the oil still was for $112. They claimed it to be Mobil Synthetic 0W-20 which is false (did not use synthetic) or they did not clear out all the old oil fluid. SUBMITTED PICS BELOW FOR REFERENCE OF WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE AND WHAT IT "SHOULD" LOOK LIKE. I went back and told them and he laughed at me and said there's no way you can look at the oil and tell which kind it is. Welp it's pretty obvious when it's that dark. I've had a fair share of oil changes in my life and am verse with this but did not want to stand there and argue if they were going to treat me like I was ignorant on the matter. Went out and bought the brand they claimed to change the oil with and see how clear and light it should look. read more

Stopped by this coffee shop prior to running errands in the Tacoma area. I was excited to see that they use beans from a small roastery located behind the building, but that's as far as the greatness goes. This is a smaller coffee stand so I wanted to support instead of going to somewhere like Sbucks, but maaan. We were in line here for literally 30 minutes. I would've left but had someone in the front and back of us. Our coffees tasted pretty average and the smoothie we got my son was super thick but eventually melted a little and thinned out. Great concept to have the coffee shop attached to the auto shop, but they definitely need to staff this place a little more appropriately for the amount of business that comes through on a busy road. read more

If I could give no stars, I would this is a horrible place. They haven't messed up not one of my cars, but two of my cars each time I had to send them to the dealership for their mistakes. I don't get how you're supposed to be an auto lube place and you don't know how to put a oil filter on. They cracked my oil pressure sensor in my jeep compass. They put my filter in wrong air filter cause that to go to the shop if you guys would like to save money do not go to this place. This is a horrible place, I used to do business here. I will no longer do business here. I will never recommend them to nobody and I recommend you stay far away from this place. read more

Very humble local auto shop with Cafe shop. Staff very friendly, knowledgeable and honest. Got their full service done and they were quick about it. Affordable pricing I think $96 for synthetic oil, inspection, all liquids changed. I feel for the receptionist as he was in a lot of pain awaiting hip surgery. Praying for this business as they do a good job! Came recommended and was not disappointment. read more

The lovely gentlemen at this shop get five stars for helping a damsel in distress. I was driving on I5 when an ice chunk hit the bottom of my vehicle and broke a plastic piece under my car. I immediately exited the highway to this shop where they assisted me right away. I only wish my car needed an oil change because I would have slow had that done here. They were very kind, helpful, and went above and beyond. Besides helping me check and top off my oil, they saw that my headlight was out. I told them that I had tried to buy it from another car parts store but people had been stealing them so they were out at the time. Hearing my story, they were so kind to find a bulb in the back and installed it for me! He said "It's free of charge Merry Christmas". They managed to take two things off my plate that had been bothering me for a while, it had truly taken a weight off and I am grateful for that. read more

I just got my last oil change here... I normally get the number 5, which includes Lucas oil fuel treatment. Recently I added a lock to my cap less fuel tank and so I watched the keys to see if they noticed that they needed a key to open the tank to add the Lucas fuel system cleaner, but by the time the bill came they had not removed the keys from the vehicles ignition one time. The guy who does the billing basically called me a liar and tells me he trusts his employee more than me, but I sat there and saw everything. So I know the employee and the guy at the counter are both willing to lie about the service, I will never be returning. I myself have a degree in automotive technology and work as a mechanic from time to time, but will not work at or go to mechanic shops where I have witnessed this type of thing. Sadly after being a customer here for years, they have broken my trust and I will never return. Be careful. read more

They took the undercarriage off under my Porsche. Now they claim they don't have it when it's time for my next oil change. Oily place I've ever taken it too. Even before I could finish my sentence, they said we don't have it. Just like that. No questions asked or even attempt to look for it. They even charged me extra. Their max price is like 160. I dropped off my jeep grand Cherokee to get the oil changed. I let them know that I would be back later when I arrive to pick up my vehicle it was not in the parking lot there were five empty parking spaces. My car was parked on the side road out of sight out of mind. A little disappointed that they would not leave my vehicle in their lot they said they moved it to the side road due to parking space for customers. I paid $145 to get my oil changed and I'm pretty sure that makes me a valid customer. Fast friendly service prices where decent customer service while fast was good. When they say they will get you in and out they mean it. They run around like they are working for NASCAR. This review is long overdue as I've been a customer here since 2004 and have brought in my personal vehicles as well as my work vehicle over those many years. I get consistently great service and it's been the same 2 guys that greet me at the desk for the last 17 years: Bruce but mostly James. James recognizes me and always takes good care of me. Yesterday I got their #2 oil change and the transmission fluid service for my Honda. Now if you've never been here before, you'll be impressed at how fast they are and what a great job they do! When I say fast, I mean, the moment I walk in the door and lay my keys on their counter... before I'm even done telling them what services I want and he's filling out the form, they're already pulling my car into an available bay. They are so fast! They had 3 guys working on my car yesterday and I watch them and see that they double and triple check their work for perfection. I have never had any issue with their work and would recommend them over any other place. They aren't the cheapest oil change out there, but they are reasonably priced... and I'd take quality and speed any day over cheap! read more

Steer clear of this place' both times my wife took in her car, some shady s@it happen, main service man that's always at the counter pretty much called my wife a lier, so I called her and put him on the spot, he said he spoke with her and inform her that the oil filter has a leak, my wife started yelling at him on speaker phone and he changed his story, his people tighten what ever they loosen from the vehicle being serviced the day before. I told this guy I've Been coming here for years and this is how your going to do me? My 2011 cadillac has low miles and no issues' these guys prey on people (females mainly) and don't care about your lively hood. I posted a picture of my wife's car leaking oil. Used to be great, as of the last few visits it went from being a regular customer to now probably never returning to the shop again! Word to the wise if you ever get parts changed on your cars ask for the old ones back... at least then you know they changed it and you didn't get scammed. Been going to Autolube on 38th street for over 15 years and just found out they scammed me the last couple times and charged me for parts they never changed. Smdh. The guy thought I was a fool but I caught him up in a lie. So after some choice words and an argument to nowhere, they lost my business all over an air filter. So this specific vehicle that I had their top tier oil change service done on today was also taken to their shop about 9,000 miles ago for my 90000 mile service! During today's visit the gentleman came out and showed me an extremely dirty air filter and told me it needed changed at which point I told him it was changed last time by them how could it be so dirty already. I was outside of the waiting room on a phone call and so I told him I would pass for now. When he came back in ring me up a few minutes later he proceeded to tell me that the air filter was a brand that they have never used so it couldn't have been them that changed it! I asked him if he was sure and he said yes and then I asked them is replacing the air filter part of the 90000 mile service and he also said yes! at that point I realized I was probably charged to replace an air filter that they never did. I asked them how could it be so dirty when it should have been changed 9000 miles before, at which point he started arguing with me and trying to spin my words and said well it must have been changed sometime between, at which point I reminded him I have only had an oil change one time since then and it was through them! He immediately got defensive and said he wasn't going to argue with me because I didn't understand what he was saying! I told him I clearly understood what he was saying that this air filter in my car was a part that they have never used and yet on my previous invoice from two times before they marked down that they changed the air filter. So the only logical conclusion is that they never changed it! It was also pretty clear that this air filter had been in the car for some time because there's no way it could have gotten that dirty so quickly from just around the town driving! You could tell he was caught in a lie and just decided to be very defensive and rude at that point and then in return I got quite the attitude myself! I pointed out to him that me and my family have been going to him for over 15 years and we always trusted a small family owned shop like that would be doing the right thing rather than take our chances with a big chain like Jiffy Lube and he was risking losing my business for the multiple vehicles I bring in there and he returned with an answer he didn't care! I have had an issue with the same man a couple visits before because he had quoted me one price and then charged me another, but I let that go. I also had the suspicion one time he didn't change my wiper blades in a different car that I had a 60000 mile service done in, and when I asked for the old ones back he said that already been taken out to the dumpster and we're gone, so I bought it and just hoped I wasn't being lied to! I don't believe this man is the owner, but I think maybe they are related! the owner used to be there all the time dating back to even when I used to go with my father before I started driving myself 10 years ago, and we always had good service, but in his absence the guy running it now is a complete jerk! So now I'm urging all my friends and family do not patronize them! It is pretty sad because it's all over a cheap air filter and had he offered just to make it right and even given an excuse like he doesn't know how this could have happened, I would have probably been satisfied! I even earlier in the visit had asked for a quote to bring my truck in for 90000 mile service which is coming due, and now I guess I'll take my $500 elsewhere! read more

I called autolube to ask for Bruce Rice the owners phone number and direct email contact information. One of his men refused to give me his contact information and said multiple time that he didn't have it. How do you not have your own boss number on file. He even said that morning he was heading over to his boss house and will have him contact me. The owner never contact me. I called the next morning and the guy who picked up said his name was Bruce so I'm assuming that's the owner. The owner stood by his men and said they did not break it. From the review it seems like people went in and out real quick, a 10 min oil change. But my dads service took ONE HOUR. My dad has been going to this place for SEVEN YEARS. He just lost a loyal customer. I've read multiple bad reviews that employees experience the same situation we did. Long story short anything that happens under there possession they will NOT take any responsibilities for it. Even the owner of this company is very unprofessional and does not have good customer service. I will refuse to let my dad come her ever again. I've been coming here for over 2 years. With 3 different vehicles. Never had any issues. Until May 22 of this year... Had a basic oil change. A week or so later I noticed I was leaking oil - a co-worker also noticed it and told me. I thought it was from other cars so I left cardboard under my car that night... Yep! Slow oil leak. My drain plug was almost COMPETELY OUT. Maybe a turn or turn and a half and it would have came out. I tightened it by hand (didn't have the right size socket) and took it back there the next day. They looked at it no problem, tightened the plug no problem, topped my oil off no problem. They said I was leaking oil from somewhere else and showed me underneath my car where oil was dripping... Never happened before but ok my car has almost 180k miles. Few days later guess what? No leaking! I'm going to change my own oil from now on... Thanks James, Chris, and Gary. They also changed my cousins tranny oil... And forgot to tighten that properly too so he was leaking tranny oil until he noticed! Just small things... But important as all hell. read more

Extremely disappointed. $129 oil change on 2017 car with 30k on it. Left car dirty with smears and fingerprints all over the front white bumper. Did not reset my oil change warning and despite my specifically asking, didnt top off coolant. I dont mind paying, however, if i wanted to do half the work myself i wouldnt drop off my car at a lube business. This was my first and last stop at this business. read more

This place is bar-none, THE best oil change place I've ever been to. The lobby was immaculate, there is a coffee stand right next door, and I was in and out in 10 minutes for a basic oil change! I was so impressed I went back the next day to have my fuel lines cleaned, and my lil' car acts like shes brand-spankin' new now! Went for an oil change and left feeling like I needed a shower from the slimeball staff. I have literally never dealt with more shady business dealings. There is a sign that is hanging up on the upper right side when you come that is a disclaimer relating to their discretion on things like new air filters and number quarts of oil used to disqualify all pricing. Apparently mine took 5.5 quarts (I call bs) so it invalidated their pricing schedule which is based on 5q. When I asked while the bill was 3x what was agreed to ($84.75 for 15 min most-basic-option oil change), both guys behind the counter animatedly (very phony) shrugged pointing up at the sign as though they had expected the question and get it after every oil change. BUT during our recent visit we just wanted an oil change after cleaning out our truck. We came to pick up our vehicle and the middle console was cleared out and all of our stuff was on the floor. I tried this shop out for an oil change recently and they were great! No appointment, they got me right in. Fast forward to me coming home from Wenatchee yesterday and getting stuck on Blewitt Pass (no phone service, whatsoever) and then Snoqualmie Pass (good thing there was beer and phone service up there) with an overheating vehicle and a completely dry radiator. I called in a panic and took my car in today. They quickly diagnosed a thermostat problem and had my car (Bella) on the lift immediately. She was ready in less than two hours for under $100. She just hit 130,000 miles and this was a quick, painless fix. My Civic and I strongly recommend checking this place out! read more

Dishonest, and overpriced. Conventional oil change and filter for 35+ a shop fee. PLUS an extra fee for cartridge filters. For the $35.00 oil change you spend over $50. Not to mention they try to up-sell you on other skeptically needed services. Their menu for services contains numerous and uneasy to understand fees, there are countless items on their menu that are "UPCHARGES" so you'll get screwed over and without them asking first. read more
