I called Nick because I was considering a Used Car purchase and I was hoping he would be available to inspect the car. To be honest, inspecting vehicles is not his main jam...it takes time and coordination and as we all know, cooperation and timliness are generally not comes to mind when thinking of used car salespersons. So I was very grateful when Nick agreed to perform the inspection. He had a full day of appointments and work planned and I'd only given 15 hours notice, because of the late notice I'd received from the salesperson. Nick was FABULOUS. Showed up on time (aka....early), managed to get the car from the Salesperson and had started the inspection before I arrived. He was professional and thorough. He took the car out on a test drive and accessed EVERYTHING from mechanical, to electrical, to cosmetic. He provided a verbal and written report. Highly recommmend! read more

0 stars. This contractor attempted to intimidate me with a cancellation fee for an appointment. I called to cancel the evening before and received a harassing phone call back to say that there is normally a cancellation fee for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance but it is being "waived" as a courtesy. If that is their policy that is fine. However, it is not stated on their Yelp site nor on their Facebook page. You cannot charge or claim you will charge fees that are not previously disclosed. Please read up on the RCW for small businesses. Attempting to scam people out of money with hidden policy is Not the way to make a living. read more

This guy is a miracle worker for sure. Our truck had been running a little rough since we bought it 2 years ago. The check engine light came on sporadically and finally we were able to get it worked on. He came to our house and took care of the vacuum leak, went and picked up the parts for us and was well below the quote he gave. He was on time, worked very quickly and told me about another issue that I had previously addressed. He made us an appointment for the next week and we brought it to his shop and fixed the problem. He showed up right on time, and quickly diagnosed and fixed our starter problem (an embarrassingly simple connection issue). His work rate is significantly lower than any shop rate I've ever encountered before. He is friendly and honest, and gets right to the point. He offers solid advice for further self-maintenance if requested. He accepts cash, check, and credit (using a Square reader). This man is wonderful. I sent him a text and he got back to me fairly quickly. He worked with my schedule and came to me. He charged me LESS than the research I'd done with other places. He was not only punctual, he was EARLY, about half an hour early. He called to ensure that the time would still work for me. I had a problem with my 2003 Dodge conversion camper van where upon hitting a bump in the road the turn signals and electric windows and other ancillary electrical things would stop working. Thought this is going to be a nightmare trying to troubleshoot so I called The Car Guy. He came to my house found the problem to be a bad ignition switch, found one at a parts store, went and picked it up and installed it. This took under 2 hrs and cost less than a couple hundred dollars. I am sure it's not always this easy for this guy but to me that is damn near magic! Second the communications and explanations were clear concise and thorough so no confusion about expectations of what could go right or wrong. I knew i was dealing with a professional.
