I never write reviews, but the service I got here definitely deserves 5 stars. Brought my GMC Sierra in to have the single exhaust replaced with custom dual exhaust. The owner, David, ordered the parts based on my word that I'd be in the following week. He just said bring it by anytime. I like the "old school" way of doing business. The quote for the parts and labor was also far better than the big muffler shops in the area. I arrived in the late morning and David had the truck finished up by mid afternoon. So I have just minor maintenance to do on my car, went to a number of places and not a lot of them could do the job at least in a reasonable price. Went to this shop and they found the problem real quick, keep in mind I went to a few others to tweak out some issues so I'm only here for some fix up on my exhaust. It's unnecessarily loud and I knew there was a hole in my exhaust, just didn't know where. For 200 to fix a flex pipe, and now can't even hear the engine from outside. I think it's fair. Not often you see the owner of an establishment getting down to the dirt to do the same work as their employees. Def recommend to check this place out. Took my Ford F-150 to the Ford dealership in Lakewood. The diagnostic alone was $150. They said I needed a new radiator hose, tune-up, and some other stuff that amounted to basically an arm and a lung. My best friend suggested I take it to this shop, even though he said they're busy. And I see why. Dropped my truck off around 930 in the morning. Dave called me in the afternoon and gave me a quote and said it'd be ready the next day. 1000 the next day, my truck was ready. This shop not only saved me more than half of what Lakewood Ford charged me, but the truck's issues were fixed and the customer service there was great. David and his mechanics are great. I wouldn't take my vehicles to anyone else. His prices are reasonable but best of all...he's honest. Theres been plenty of times I took my truck to him and he told me "if I do it, it will cost you more...but you can easily fix it yourself for cheap"...and actually showed me how to fix it and sent me on my way. He's even fixed things that he noticed was wrong while fixing other issues, and never charged me extra. I had a new motor put in my vehicle by a different mechanic and David found all the issues that were half-assed done and went thru with a fine toothed comb. A job that would have cost me $1000 plus...he did it for a fraction of the cost. Great guy, great shop, and great crew. read more

"The more fancier and high end the appearance a place is, the more SHITTIER, & DISHONEST their service will be!" As for this place, it doesn't look too much of a high end place, but the service & HONESTY from David is what every customer deserves when dealing with any inconvenience with their car. I found this place 2 years ago and was just tired from all the shitty dealerships and all the other autoshops. . Took in my 02 Escalade for the fuel pump and gasket cover to be replaced. It was pricey for everything, but the price was to get it fixed ONCE!! Dealership services and other autoshops charge abundant money just for the diagnostic. When they get to your car, they charge you so much it feels like they keep your car for a few hours just to reset the code then give it back to you. Three days later more stuff gets worse and you're back at their shop throwing them more money to those greedy fuckers! NOT THIS PLACE! This autoshop do the job once and thoroughly!! If you think it's too much to get your car fixed ONCE, then you might as well go to another shop that will eat your money up like vultures and leave you coming back to their greedy asses. Honestly, I have dealt with a lot of mechanic shops in the past including dealerships to Ma and Pa establishments, from factory recalls on new trucks and cars to body and drive train repairs on collector cars. David quoted me a price right there at the door in less than 10 mins! Not only was his quote right on but it was done on time on a Saturday! David is a very honest and good person and runs a very respectable shop. I dropped off my late Nissan Titan for a job and had to have my wife pick it up, my wife also found him to to be very kind, honest and informative. Despite all the other good reviews on yelp, I was disappointed in my experience with the axle boot replacement on my car. At another auto shop, I had a free inspection. They told me the passenger side axle boot was cracking. I accompanied my friend to Expert Muffler to pick up his car. I asked the owner the cost of changing axle boot. He suggested I replaced the whole axle for $150. A couple of days later, I brought my car to Expert Muffler to have my axle replaced. I told them to keep the original part for me to see. The shop replaced the axle and then the owner showed me the original axle. At that point, he told me he was sorry that the axle had not been cracked. He said he would only charge me $150 (which he originally promised) instead of $180. Is it a question of honesty or a honest mistake? read more
