Went one morning and discussed pthe purchas of a vehicle. Was approved for a vehicle with them saying they would need an additional $1000 along with my trade in to get me into the desired vehicle. Went in a week later with $1000 and my title, just to be told they would need $3000 and my trade in. ALL without a test drive to boot! The saleslady Alex, was great, but I believe the financial person is all in for a money grab and to take advantage of those needing their vehicles. Seeing someone walk in with an amount previously agreed on just to try and squeeze MORE out, totally unprofessional and WRONG. The funny thing is the salesman I spoke with during the first interaction, said the deal was good for 30 days. NOPE, not here!!! Overpriced for old used cars, extremely bad customer service, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who wants to be treated like a human being and or doesn't want scammed into getting something that isn't obtainable or even worth it the amount of money they make you pay. So far my axel broke, my alternator died on the highway, my whole heating system was broke, and i currently have a leak in my gas pump. When you buy a car from auto you will sign more than 20 forms, and make sure you read them carefully. one form states you are happy with the condition the car came in, one form also states that if your airbags do not work, they do not have to replace them. These guys got me into a good car at a price I could afford. They did everything to make it affordable for me. I was very impressed because I was a little afraid of "buy here, pay here" dealers. They even gave me a great warranty when other car dealers only give you a month that covers 50% of just engine and tranny. I was turned down everywhere else because I was a stay at home mom for 5 years while married previous to my current job. Go see Jorge, he's such a sweet guy and I'm very happy with my new-to-me car. Well let me tell you about this place. I bought a van from them in 2015 it was infest with roaches. They bug bombed it so we choked on the fumes for a few days. I sunk over 5,000 into the van and then it blew a head gasket 2 years later. Today I went back to them out of desperation because my cash car I just bought in March caught on fire at I435 and 95th st June 17. Of course since it was a $900 car I only had liability on it. Well anyway I was told yesterday I was approved with $99 down so I was willing to buy a huge Grand Marquis from them just to have transportation. I brought a vehicle late August. Three days after I had it I had to put in shop for repair. Was under warranty but I had to pay 200$ deductible on a vehicle I only had for 3days. When October came I found out the heat didn't work and again I had to put back in shop and pay again. I then took to another mechanic and was told my vehicle I had for ((((93DAYS))) was no good and I should not have bought it. I will try to do this without slandering anyone. So, I have to say, this place got me. They can without a doubt put you in a car asap, BUT....the price you pay will ruin you. I read reviews from other places saying their cars needed work and etc. but gave them the benefit of a doubt. Bad idea. Within two weeks the car was in the shop 3 times. Heck that did not even bother me as much as what I discovered later. Problem after problem and I figured "used car it happens". After enough problems I asked them can I just trade it in and they said sure when your down to $4000 on payments and I figured I must be close. Nope. The interest is so high it adds on daily and you pay 3 to 4 times what the vehicle is worth. 22% interest is a joke. Yet they told me I would have it paid off in 36 months. That is why I did it. Nope. Was a lie. Tried to trade in to other dealerships they said pay off is too high and they ALL SAID Auto Now ripped me off and they even broke down numbers to me showing how they ripped me off giving me actual percentages, rates, and analysis. Long story short, I am still paying for it. A $2000 car paying $12,000 due to interest. The practices used by auto now are deceptive. If you do not want to take my word for it, that is fine just research these rates and numbers yourself and look at other reviews. OR when your in their office, ask them their interest rate and ask them IF its high? Ask them would they get a car their. See what they say. I am stuck where I am. I was ripped off and mistreated. I shopped at this location because over the phone Tony seemed to understand what I was looking for and said he could help me out. My first visit there was very short as Tony was rude and had no interest in bringing over a vehicle from their other location for me to look at. He suggested I drive to KC and work with that location so I thanked him for his time. The next time I returned he disrespected my husband and my father and tried to sell us a vehicle priced for double its worth. He was extremely unprofessional and also said he didn't know how much the vehicle was worth because they didn't look that up. He didn't know how much the warranty was for either even though he said he'd been at the job for many years. So overall if you would like to have a horrible experience and get ripped off please do visit this establishment. Tony called us back after the last visit trying to sell another vehicle and explain away his behavior but it was more double talk and explaining why he was going to over charge on any vehicle he sold. Wow! I don't know where exactly to begin, I was very skeptical about buying a vehicle from Auto Now based on reviews, but I'm so glad I DID! I went in with a vehicle I already had in mind from looking at the website, I worked with Paul I think is his name he was very professional and has great customer service skills, I hate buying cars so I hate the process but they made it very easy! I bought my vehicle and a few days later I had an issue, I called Jeff the manger and was treated with respect and again great customer service and he took care of the issue 100% didn't try to haggle or negotiate just took care of it and pleasant to speak with! Most people only right bad things that are not dealerships fault so I'm leaving an excellent review Incase some of you are on the fence! This company really cares about its customers and the quality of vehicles they sell, I've bought vehicles from all different places in the metro including commercial lots like ford and this is by far the easiest, most friendliest, and honest!
