Do not order parts from these guys. They are crooks!! I ordered two seats for a Toyota 4 runner. Paid for them via VISA/pay pal. I called repeatedly to find out when they would ship. After promising they would ship within 24 - 48 hours, two weeks later, they still had not shipped. After threatening to cancel the order, they finally shipped them via Greyhound packaging service supposedly to my shipping address which I provided. Several days later I get a call form greyhound to come pick them up, which is over an hour away!!!!I told them to ship back to sender and will be canceling the order. I ahev also filed a complaint with them on the BBB. They are already pretty poor on the BBB. I wish I would have seen that prior to ordering.... Even if I have a bad experience with a business, I won't give them a 1 star. I really don't want to hurt anyone and at the end, it doesn't feel good no matter what they did. But, I also realize that if I don't speak up, others will get scammed or ripped off too. With this business, you will get ripped off. Don't think that it won't happen to you this one time and feel like rolling the dice? Before you do, check this guy's other reviews online. He's legendary. Someone else on Yelp mentioned how he runs his business. He offers a price for the car part you need even though he actually doesn't have it in stock. He works out of a small garage so doesn't have any inventory. Only after you agree to the sale, will he look for your part online. It might take weeks for him to locate your part for a cheaper price though. And, even if he does find one, there is a good chance that the part won't even be the one you've asked for. So, if it doesn't match up and you want to return it, it shouldn't be a problem getting your money back, right? Nope. Read his famous contract. Even if it's his fault, you pay for shipping. Actually, even if it's his fault, you end up paying for everything - multiple shipping, the part, etc. Read his contract. (He loves saying this.) What happens if he sends you the part one month later? Is that ok? Of course, it is. Read his contract which states "4-AUTO PARTS EXTENDS NO GUARANTEE ON ANY SHIPPING TIME OR "DELAYED DELIVERY" OF ANY PART ORDERED." For me, it took weeks and weeks of waiting and calling to get my part. Guess what? It finally arrived and it was the wrong part! I took my car in to the shop to get the part installed and my mechanic said that he tried for hours but there was no way the part could fit. He said he found out that it wasn't even a Honda part. So, I returned the part AT MY COST because "it's in his contract"! Then, I waited weeks and weeks again because he wouldn't refund my money because it's in his contract! "4-AUTO PARTS HAVE A NO REFUND-EXCHANGE ONLY RETURN POLICY." So, after he promised that he would express ship it to me, I waited weeks and weeks again. And, guess what? The part I originally ordered was blue but not only was the part malfunctioning but it was orange! Is that ok? Of course it is. His contract says, "WE DO NOT GUARANTEE COLOR MATCHING ON ANY BODY OR INTERIOR PART." But, his response to this really demonstrated his mental state. He told me to just paint it, it wasn't a big deal and I shouldn't make such a fuss. I love this guy's perspective on life. Think of the many hours and hours of time that I wasted with this person. I don't understand how a person could do this to another fellow human being over a profit of perhaps $100 or so. It's wrong. Even if he just stole $500 (price of the part) from me, it would have been better. I would have thought it as charity, considering that he seems broke. But, this guy will make you spend weeks and weeks of aggravation just so he can collect his $100 profit. At the end, I wasted 2 months waiting for a part that never worked. Hours and hours of rude phone calls. Got a refund of the original part but I had to pay for both shipping fees even though he sent the wrong part. It took an additional 5 months to get my money from the credit card company because he said that the malfunctioning, orange part was ok. So, to the people who read this review. If you want to end up spending multiple times more than the original contract price and spend hours and hours waiting and arguing with this guy, go ahead. read more

The terms and conditions are as unfriendly to the customer as they can possibly be. I ordered a headlight for my Audi and, after not receiving it the day it was supposed to arrive via UPS, I called UPS. They had record of a shipping ticket being created but never received the part from 4- Auto Parts. I called and Charles, who was apparently busy, asked if he could call me back in a few minutes and never did. 4 days later I called again and he said " we'll have to give it a few more days to see if it turns up." At that point I decided to do something I should have done initially - look 4- Auto Parts up on Google reviews etc. When i saw the horror stories i immediately called American Express and disputed the charges. 4- Auto Parts fought the dispute , and in the process FORGED my initials on each and every paragraph of their terms and conditions ( which I never initialed because I thought the terms were ridiculous). T The part arrived eventually and, when I brought it to my Audi dealer to install, they told me it was broken and would not work. 4 - Auto Parts refuses to accept responsibility for the part and will not issue either a replacement or a refund. Worst customer service I've ever received. Ordered/bought the part (blower motor) on 9/8/16. Was emailed the part had shipped on 9/13. On the 27th, after not receiving the part, I called the establishment. They asked what the part was and when I ordered it. Gave them the info and was told I'd get a call back. Never got a call back, but the part just happened to ship out on 9/28. I installed the part on 10/4 and it blew out my fuse block (part# 82620-33070). A mechanic found that, after bypassing the fuse, that the motor was bad. When we put the old one in (was just noisy, but worked), the fan came on. When we put the one I ordered, it sparked the contact on the fuse assembly. I tried calling this company, today, and dealt with the rudest person I've ever dealt with. Swearing and everything. I was upset with his attitude, between the very late shipment, no call back and his insistence that his motor wasn't the problem, even though a mechanic verified it was the issue. I now have to buy this part from Toyota direct (16.00). Do NOT use this company in ANY size, shape, or form. As you can see from previous people, them shipping stuff out is a problem. I'm just glad I bought this through PayPal, as I will get my refund, minus the cost of the fuse. I'm sure this guy is going to blame me, like he's blamed EVERY other person who's given him a bad review. But, history doesn't lie. This guy is a clown. read more

Slow Shipping about two weeks when they told me 3 days. It was left in the shipping department of days. I know it is a used auto parts place, but shipped part dirty, when cleaned it had discolored areas and chrome chips missing. Returned it and then they charged a re-stocking fee that was from price of shipping too. The pictures they sent me did not show the discoloring and chips and not a close up. Ordered a part from this place and they sent me the wrong color, when I called and told them about it he said I didn't know what I was talking about. This type of part cones in black, unfortunately this was not new part it was off another car with a salvage yard stock number. Treated me like I was stupid called me names and even stated that the mutual acquaintance order the wrong part. Needless to say after the back and forth, no part because he had me return original, no refund, no exchange. Stated return part damage had insurance on but he threw the packaging away so claim rep could not verify damage. After that he ask me to return his money because I put my invoice in the box ?!?!? He resell it right the way to his buyer. That's not a problem at all (it's a business). But he asks the money back because his buyer saw a price he paid us and keeps a headlight. It's a SCAM!!! He opened a case against us to get his money back. Can you believe it???
