If you truly care about getting value in what you paid for then PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH AUTO PROS ON 10th St Lancaster ! About 2 weeks ago, I had Auto Pros on 10th St charge my AIR CONDITION SYSTEM on my 2008 Range Rover. Then suddenly it completely quit working & I hadn't driven even 200 miles! I dropped my Range Rover back off to fix it AGAIN! Not only did they NOT offer any compromise whatsoever, they wanted over 2 THOUSAND DOLLARS to install a new compressor , Which they were charging 1500.00 dollars for! I told them that was insane & id buy the compressor myself & deliver it to them. A brand new one was about 2 hundred dollars! Yes, BRAND NEW NOT REMANUFACTURED!! Oh no. The owner ( Rudy) wasn't having that! They were marking the new compressor up OVER 700% !! 750% to be exact. They completely refused to take any responsibility for the prior work done that now had failed 100%!! I of course pled my case over their beyond insane mark up of 750%( 200.00 new & now 1500.00 - 2 x's 7.5=15 or1500.00 dollars) PLEASE PLEASE EVERYONE....... We are all struggling to make ends meet so DO NOT throw away your hard earned money by letting Auto Pros rob you blind! They refuse to compromise by taking an honest stance on prior work performed!!! They offered ZERO! Nothing. Sad but true. Be a smart consumer. Do your research! We ALL DESERVE HONESTY & VALUE ON WHAT WE PAY FOR! You will NOT GET EITHER ONE AT AUTO PROS! Lastly, I have nothing against anyone there. Dakota is a super polite guy. But when the prior work performed has now failed , then there's a problem. I'm a Commercial Pilot & I also have my A & P license ( airframe & powerplant) so I have a decent understanding of mechanical issues! So their refusal to take any responsibility whatsoever truly upset me. I wasn't asking for anything free. Not at all. But at least TRY to offer an honest & fair compromise! They refused to do that. I used to go here, then when times got rough and business were closing I came in for some estimates $2500.00 yikes so I had to wait. Then I was at Caler Auto in Lancaster and thought ok 2nd opinion right? I mean we do it with Dr's why not mechanics too. And guess what - that $2500.00 repair only cost me $260.00 just a SLIGHT difference in price. When times are rough you are supposed to help out your loyal customers not bend them over without even a kiss! Bad Karma Rudy and Tom. Over priced don't stand by there work. Transmission issue charged 1700 and 2 weeks later transmission doesn't work told me too bad needs a new transmission for 6,000 more. AVOID this place! read more

My Wife took her Nissan Mirano to these Morons and they started screwing with the suspension without asking! They Only Screwed up the Suspension when they weren't given permission to work on it in the First Place I would Strongly consider taking your business elsewhere! I can not say enough about Auto Pro's. I have been taken our cars to them since we lost our mechanic and even brought new along some new customers for them to. I take my mom's car there since she was screwed over by one of our local dealerships saying she needed stuff done that wasn't needed. There great go in for an oil change they check it out text you your estimate you accept they call when its ready for pick up. Easy as that. All the guys in the shop are great. They explain everything if there's an issue with your vehicle and give you the break down. Very honest and don't use cheap parts either so you might pay a bit more but it is well worth it. Dakota, Bobby and Anthony are AMAZING! This shop has some of the best customer service and technicians around. Great environment- dropped my car off for repair on a Thursday picked it up on a Friday about 45 min after they closed and they still waited for me! Huge help because I needed my car for the weekend. Called back Monday and got scheduled in for a diagnostic- brought my truck in they immediately started working on it even though I was late bringing it in. Amazing service, great prices and no BS that I usually deal with at auto shops. This is my new go to spot for mechanic work! read more

Let me start by saying it's 100° outside humid and I'm 39 weeks pregnant. I called yesterday and spoke to Rick and eventually transferred to the assistant manager Dakota, I explained that I needed my A/C in my truck recharged, he went on to say that regardless I needed to pay for a Diagnostic for $129.. ok No problem and let him know that I know it has a slow leak and I just needed the AC fixed/charged for this week.. Again he said no problem and we scheduled an appointment for the following day at 10am. So this morning I arrived ahead of time for my appointment at 9:40am to confirm with Dakota what service was supposed to be done and how long it would take, again reiterating that regardless i wanted to have the AC recharged and was not interested in fixing the leak which I'm already aware of , Dakota said not a problem I will put that in your notes. Its now 10am for my appointment , I go to give him the keys and again confirm what is to be done, he immediately talks to his "head mechanic " and turns and tells me that he will not fix/charge the AC without fixing the leak issue. Had I not asked several times making it very clear what I was wanting done I would have not been pissed. But for the "manager " of the business to dick me around just to generate business is very upsetting. I'm moving out of state in 4 days, and my trusty 2004 Ford Focus suddenly developed a serious accelerator problem - the gas pedal became difficult to depress - I had to baby it to get going and it was rapidly getting worse - arrgghhh! So I had an emergency need for a mechanic, my regular one was booked for a week. After no luck calling various shops for 45 minutes I finally reached Auto Pros who told me to bring it in that morning. They diagnosed it, ordered the part and said it would be ready the next day. Which it was - my amazing car runs like a top again. This was such an odd problem, one I'd never encountered or even heard of before, I had my doubts about whether they could find the problem, but they did. SO sad that there's still dishonest mechanics out there in this day and age.... so rude and they harassed me about my car. Felt uncomfortable being there. Not all of them were like that, but it seemed like the manager and the front desk worker were very rude and snobby and wanted to charge for basic questions. Very uneducated people and unprofessional. It seemed they had to be mechanics to get by in life, versus having a passion for cars. They've been here for 37 years and my family have recommended me to go there but it seemed that they have changed in the recent years. My family will not be coming back. read more

Been looking around for a shop to maintain my 2010 GTI and after too many years I finally came across this group. I love them! Their team is well oiled and work really well together. They provide relevant information and always think about their customers first. I was a bit leary until I walked in and actually met the mechanic, who is just as excited abotu GTI's as I am, and he was able to share car infomation and insights I've not heard before. Rudy is great. I had to get my 85 motor home smogged and the 1st place I took it didn't know his backside from his elbow.
