Don't take your vehicle here. They use to be good but are heading in the wrong direction. You will end up paying for things you don't need. The guy who deals mostly with customers is bad with customers. Doesn't know what he is talking about and will try to influence you to spend money on unnecessary repairs. read more

Auto Pros in Chaska is the best in the business! Honest opinions, honest prices. The front desk guys, and the mechanics, treat everyone like they are real people! They don't talk down to you and they don't try to sell you stuff you don't need (they don't run out with an air filter every time I get my oil changed). They tell me when something is going to need to be done, but they also tell me how long I can get by in my vehicle's current condition (they'll tell me my brakes are getting worn, but I should be able to get by for two more oil changes). They've done all my maintenance and repairs, put the right tires on for the way I drive, checked over a used vehicle before I bought it, and they lend me a courtesy car when I need it! I've been bringing my car to Auto Pros of Chaska for about a year, now. These guys are honest and don't charge an arm and a leg when it comes to repairs. Their staff is always friendly and they are knowledgeable in answering any other questions I may have. I recently bought a Honda CRV and wanted a second inspection check on it. These guys thoroughly inspected everything on my car and didn't try to sell me any parts. Best part of all, they were able to squeeze me in that same day for an appointment that took about an hour and a half! I will continue to bring my car here when it needs some work done! read more

My experience with Auto Pro was less than honest. I agree with Brian G..the crappy part is... Im the idiot who knows very little about cars and I trusted Auto Pros. This past summer, I received a coupon for a free oil change at Auto Pro's and decided to take advantage of it. While dropping off the car, they asked if there were any concerns and I said I could hear a squeaky noise and if they noticed anything major...to call. When I went to pick my car up, they rang me up for "diagnostics" charging me 60.00 and said I needed a new serpentine belt. I asked..how much does that cost and the guy smirked at me and said ...about 60.00. Since when is opening the hood and looking at a fully visible part 'diagnostics" especially during a routine oil change??? I had no option but to pay 60$ and leave. I just had my oil changed for the second time since Auto Pro's ...and funny...two shops have confirmed that I STILL DONT NEED the serpentine belt replaced much less a 60 dollar opinion about it. Auto Pros took advantage of the fact that I didnt recognize a serpent from a serpentine and charged me 60.00 for false info. I think honesty is key so I will mention that on top of the "free " oil change, they also assisted me by putting on my new plates for me..free of charge. While I do appreciate that effort, they cost themselves a multi car home client with misleading information and pretend charges. read more

Very helpful and honest and knowledgeable staff!! I ordered some winter tires from a large online tire seller, and had them shipped to Auto Pros to have them put on for me. They got me an appt to have them put on in a timely manner, and when I got there at my scheduled appt time, they got my car in immediately and tires put on extremely quick. Which for anyone who is busy, is a very important thing! I'm used to sitting at the dealer and wondering why my car is still sitting in the same spot it was an hour ago, when I show up for my appts. Also, Gary was able to not only match, but beat the pricing from the very large online tire seller that I ordered my tires from. So the next tires I purchase will for sure be from him! He provided fantastic service and made sure I left happy that I brought my car to them. I will be bringing my car to them for everything from now on. read more

Really quality experience. Got my car in quick, fixed it within a day, were even apologetic about how much it cost, super congenial guys!!!, plus they gave me great advice regarding my jeep. My review was taken down....how convenient for them. Here it is once more. I am very disappointed. My mom, dad and I have gone here for years off and on. We use coupons, we live paycheck to paycheck, so yes we use a lot. and from the owners mouth, he is annoyed that we go there and use the coupons. Fine, we wont use your services anymore. Pretty pathetic that you don't want business that uses YOUR boughten coupons. Update: was contacted by them, and was told to take down my review or they would put my father's name and other info out to the public. I don't see that as professional. Update: Nice to know that just cause someone got screwed by them that they no longer allow them to go to their business for service! Sad that they won't try to win people's service back, they just ban them from coming back. My father has a coupon book he bought for their business, and now they won't let him use it AND won't let him come back for any service. They should be thankful he wanted to give them another shot, but no, they are being unprofessional and rude. Well, very interesting poring over the reviews. If your an idiot and know nothing of cars when you bring it in, you will be fine,and they will be nice to you, as they tell you the original quote was not quite what it is now. As they "found" other shit that needs to be done. Then the shake down begins. Don't be fooled folks, you get what you deserve if you know nothing. The good guys aren't here. You will pay double to triple what your trusted mechanic in your local neighborhood ( or kid at Vo-tech) would charge. You will get a smile and a rest assured wink, as you pay out your ass. We bought an oil change package coupon when we were living in Chaska thinking it was this great deal. Unfortunately this guy nickels & dimes you for every little thing he can. I had my husband's SUV serviced there, just for an oil change, and the owner kept me there forever, adding things he wanted me to get done right then and there. He ended up changing the light bulb in the front blinker, and the windshield wipers, after forcing me to allow them to do it. Both of those I could have easily done myself, for much cheaper, but he wouldn't hear of it. After all of that, they didn't even put the cover on the light correctly anyways, so we had to hear the blinker spaz out until we could fix it ourselves. We only ended up using a few of the coupons, since it was such a hassle to deal with. We have had much better work done, and with much less of an attitude. Good riddance to Auto Pros- I would never recommend anyone to go there. read more

I was 20 miles from home when I got low tire pressure light. Screw in tire so I rushed to Auto Pros to keep from the hassle of changing a tire. They were absolutely swamped but got me in an out in a hour. Best auto shop around. I have been a customer for 30 years should say it all!! read more

Just had four winter snow tires installed and balanced on my Nissan Juke, I revived a quote prior to install and was very surprised that the invoice total was less than the quote. WHAT? I walked in the office expecting to fight about added charges. Nope this shop is true and honest, very hard to find these day's. read more

Was not happy with my experience. Brought my car to have brakes checked and repaired. Not only were they way over priced, they were too pushy on me getting more work done then I expressed, multiple times over, I wanted to be done. Being that I was referred by the owner's son, I thought I would be treated with more respect. The other son of the owner was very disrespectful, raised his voice at me and had a nasty attitude. While I do appreciate all of the detailed information I was given, there is no excuse for the way I was treated. I will never return and would never refer anyone. read more
