At Valvoline, they treated me with respect and kindness, while at Take Five, the guy verbally abused me so hard it felt like I was reliving my worst breakup. Shortly after the repair, the coolant reservoir was completely empty again. I immediately returned the vehicle and was told it was likely due to air pockets in the cooling system. They refilled it, but within hours the coolant warning returned. By the next morning, the reservoir was empty again and there was a visible coolant puddle underneath the vehicle. I documented everything with photos and contacted the shop seeking a resolution, but unfortunately they have not been helpful in resolving the matter. I understand repairs don't always go as planned, but I am extremely disappointed with how this was handled after the original problem persisted. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business.

After all that, they straight up lied on my receipt stating they topped off all fluids. And I know this because I had a "no washer fluid" light on for months before going here. I turn my car on at the end of the experience, and I still have the "no washer fluid" on. So I press the button and no shock, there is no wiper fluid coming out. Shocker. So I tell the guy and he says pop the hood and fills it up. This leaves me with a hard time believing they filled the other fluids. They were so concerned with selling additional services, they didn't even do the one I paid over $100 for correctly. Why would I ever want to add more from you? Also - train your employees! They should not be watching YouTube videos on their phones while working on my car cause they don't know how. Extremely unprofessional, horrible, terrible experience. Never going back and warning everyone to stay away.

They charged me $30 to look at t and provided an a free vehicle look over on other things. They let me know that it was indeed leaking and found an additional leak. They sent me a quote and I was flabbergasted at the price. The first original leak repair was quoted for $2,700. They did find another leak that would cost me an additional $1500 to repair . Way more than I was planning. I talked to a gearhead at my work and he said absolutely do not pay that. He said they do this to women, unfortunately. I talked to two other local shops who quoted me for everything on the original repair for $800 and $1100. Those quotes were for everything 17th Street was going to do for $2,700. I hate that companies do this. The icing on the cake was that when I drove my car home, I popped the hood and they didn't even attach the cover to the motor. It was just laying cockeyed on the top. It makes me question what else they didn't reinstall after looking over my car.

When I returned, they replaced only one front rotor under warranty. After a third visit for the same braking noise/vibration, I was told the problem was my rear brakes, even though those had been replaced only three months earlier at another shop. I then went to three independent shops, and all confirmed the real issue was a warped front rotor (the one not replaced the second time I brought it in). This should've been fixed the second or third time I brought it in. Instead they shifted blame to another shop, in which their work was confirmed to be fine. And for the price I paid, I shouldn't have had to bring it in multiple times for the same issue. Still after three visits and over $1,300 spent, my issue was still not properly fixed. The only good thing about this experience was that it was under warranty, and another shop was able to fix my brakes properly. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before trusting this shop, and if possible save your time and go elsewhere.

Once I was in the lane, I was pleasantly greeted and asked a few questions regarding my mileage, oil preference, etc. Just FYI, Valvoline always has coupon codes for synthetic or conventional oil changes. Who doesn't like saving a little money lol! They also perform a maintenance check on your car as well, which is nice. In less than 20 minutes, my oil was changed and everything was complete. One of them even helped me reset my service light in my car, which I really appreciated. The staff are always extremely pleasant and friendly! I will definitely be returning for my next oil change!
