Be careful dealing with this company if you've had an accident. I went to pick up my car 12 hours after it was towed due to an accident and I was being charged $476. The initial tow was $168 but since I was having and auto body shop pick the car up they were trying to charge me an extra $273 claiming that if another tow company comes to pick up a car on their property we have to charge ( on top of the $168) $108 for gate fee $45 truck clean up $75 for administration fee $45 for battery disconnect Mind you after I made him aware that this is makes no sense his first words to me were " just submit it to your insurance company and they'll pay for it" . They are basically scamming your insurance and holding your car hostage with bogus charges. Worse experience I had this morning! read more

This is the worst place to repair your Car. I came here for a simple oil change... Came back to pick up my car, paid $160.00... very pricey... But okay... When I got in my car, I checked the infotainment system, and the engine oil sensor was still on, so I checked engine oil level.. It was the same as when I dropped it off... Looked up at the sticker, and they didn't even change the service sticker.... It's literally against the law what they are doing..... 1hr. Later they did the oil change correctly ... Deserves zero stars. Took my dads car here for a hydraulic leak. Not only was the issue not fixed upon returning the car for a second look when we realized the initial issue had not been properly resolved he found a whole new issue that they completely missed. Duone Brown seems completely inexperienced and unknowledgeable. even after realizing issue wasn't fixed still charged full price. terrible service. terrible job. will never go back. please dont bring your car here unless you hate your car. disappointed read more

Just had work done by Auto Service & Tire. It was just to fix a ding but the ding was in a BMW so more $$$ than one would expect because it was a deep ding and they had to replace a whole panel and repaint. Anyway, I was paying out of pocket and I feel like Auto Service & Tire did their best to keep the costs down. And final work looked great! read more

Not trustworthy. Charged $350 to tow a vehicle. Auto Service & Tire claimed there was a liquid spill and they piled on a bunch of false charges. David does not return phone calls so you're forced to pay another day of "stowing" charges. They also make unauthorized repairs and overcharge. Very deceptive practices There are many other honest mechanics and tow companies. Avoid them at all costs - or expect trumped up, unauthorized, and false charges. read more

My husband is narcoleptic and was in a rollover accident. His car was towed here and we had to go clean it out the next day (Subaru's are so safe but that another review for another day) and the employees here were ALL completely friendly and understanding and very pleasant to talk to. I got into an accident 2 months ago and my car was towed from the accident scene to this shop. I did everything right and called my insurance and they told me this shop was authorized through my insurance and I could leave the car there. It took about a week for someone to come do the appraisal and once it was done I called the shop to ask if they needed anything from me and was told NO. So weeks go by and I'm wondering the status of the car. I called and was told the tow lot and the shop are separate and I must've spoken to someone in the tow service. So basically my car was just sitting there for 2 weeks. I went in and spoke to Ward who said they couldn't work on the car until I signed a release which nobody told me when I called. Ward was nice and told me the car should be done in 3 weeks. I pick up my car and as I'm about to get in the car I see a paint damage on the door which was not there before. They tried to give my car back with damage they caused! So Ward tells me he's going on vacation and to call him in 2 weeks so they can fix their damage and he would pay for my rental. I got the worse rental ever from them too. I get the car back 3 days later and the door lock is messed up and the windows go down every time I unlock the door. I bring it in today for them to fix and not only did they not fix it, they caused another problem. They don't know how to fix any of it and he tells me I have to bring it to a dealership. He says he will pay the bill from the dealership, yeah how nice but I'm pissed. They messed up my car THREE TIMES! I don't recommend them to anyone and I'll never go back. read more

I had my car towed to this lot and asked them to do the work on my car. They refused, which of course is within their right to do. However, they were extremely rude and unwilling to be helpful in the process. I let one man know that I had made multiple calls and gotten nowhere, and his response was to tell me he had spoken to me only twice. Of course, I had called multiple times to try to reach him! Bottom line: If you have a simple, straightforward job, I'm sure they can handle it and likely with good customer service. If you have a job that is complicated in any way, then take your car elsewhere! read more

I've been to this service center many times--car hit by a deer, spinout on highway in a snowstorm, another driver making an illegal U-turn--I've had terrible luck. Except not when it comes to finding this place: the work is top-notch, and so is the customer service. Everything has been fixed perfectly, and on-time. The connection with Hertz (and Enterprise) is so convenient when I need a rental. Best service center/body shop I've ever dealt with. The people are great, and know what they're doing. read more

Love, love, love them !!!! Even though my car had to get towed by the Boston Police in order to discover this hidden gem, it doesn't dampen my esteem for them. They waived the storage fee and repaired my tire, inspected my car and changed the oil all for a reasonable price and were happy to look for a used wheel for me. My dad brought me to this buisness when I got my first car at 18 years old, I am now well into my 50' s and continue to go here for service, I am so happy that this buisness has remained ,the car repair go to place for my neighborhood. This is a well run family buisness, I am proud to say that this is where my children go when their cars need service. The service here is excellent, they are honest, trust worthy, go out of their way to get your car back to you in a timely manner. I am grateful That they have been providing all of my families car servicing needs over the years. I so wanted to like this body shop. Jeremiah was great to deal with it's just the body work performed was just not good. I came in to just get my hood repainted and remove 2 small rust bubble. Came out looking great until a month later the rust spots returned. Primer drips on the front bumper. I returned and they got me in soon and repaired it. But now another month later I have a new bubble in the paint at another location in the hood. Been buffing out whatever clear coat over spray from the glass and front pillars of the car. I just can't go back and trust these guys to fix it properly read more

Never thought I'd give a towing company a five-star Yelp review. Our stolen moped wound up here, and for some reason BPD never notified us--luckily Auto Service & Tire called us before it went to a crusher! They were incredibly nice guys, all of them. They waived the storage fees, gave me solid tips on dealing with stolen vehicles, and were incredibly helpful in getting the bike up and running again. I hung around for a while waiting for my ride, and I was offered coffee and water while I waited--everyone who walked by stopped to make sure I'd been helped. Super impressed. This place is amazing! I have been unfortunate enough to need this company's service twice. My beloved Dodge Charger was side swiped this summer and had damage from a hail storm.. Jeremiah and his team had my car looking brand new! Then a moron (the nicest term I can think of) hit my car on my own freakin street that I live on. After the accident the Auto Service and Tire tow truck came as the responding tow company and it was at that moment I knew it was meant to be. I told the driver to take my car to the Auto Service and Tire lot instead of the Boston city lot. My car had a lot of damage and I was beyond stressed. Before going here make sure you look around for different quotes. Because the owner gave me a quote of a minimum of 1,500 . I went up the street and ended up paying 360 to fix my car. The owner said it was "illegal to put used parts on a car." But please, tell me does it make sense to put new parts on a 14 year old car with 200k miles ? read more

However, this is the second time that I've had to come to Auto Service and Tire and I am still impressed. Not only is the service always quick, and thorough, but the customer service is exceptional. I recently came in to have my exhaust system repaired and they explained everything to me plain and simple.
