I answered him sure, and he wanted to know why i gave him bad review! well, look at my experience! vehicle delivered 3-4 days late. made me wait 2 hours when driver said "be there in 15 minutes". he thinks that 2 hours delay is "COUPLE MINUTES LATE"? wow, i'm shocked. here's my original review---- The guy is a decent guy. But I have no faith on the delivery service of the car. The delivery day has been pushed everyday for a week. Everyday is the false promise of "will be delivered tomorrow". The guy tries hard to work with you but, hey we need the car delivered as promised. There was outsourced company, seems like they cannot get the correct contact number for 10th time. Person named Luba(?) is very rude. Overall communication on delays are non-existing. Delivery time even to the hour they state is wrong. ("Will be there in 15 min" won't happen for another 2hours). Delivery guy did not deliver the vehicle at the location. He made me meet him at the near by PepBoys.. They state the delivery was delayed due to truck breaking down, They could've easily let us know head of time so we can prepare for at least a rental car... If you need to transport your vehicle, this isn't your service to pick.

That seemed fine. We had a pickup date of 2/13 and estimated delivery date of 2/20. This was perfect because the vehicle was a gift for my wife's birthday on 2/26, so we had plenty of time. The car was picked up on time. Then came the delays and excuses. Firstly, they outsourced to a driving company called Epic Hauling, where nobody speaks English. They are all Polish. So when they call, you can't understand anything they say. Next, the delivery was delayed due to mechanical issues with the shipping truck. Not once, not twice, not 3 times. Not even 4 times. They had mechanical issues 5 separate times. And each issue caused a 2-3 day delay. Multiply that by 5 and things are not looking good. Needless to say my wife's birthday came and went. And the surprise was ruined. I always wanted to get her a car like this, and wrap it in a bow like the commercials. :( We ended up getting the vehicle in early March. Very late at night. They asked if I had a flashlight to inspect the car. And we used Google translate to communicate. Not anything like the experience I hoped for or was promised. If you don't care about how long your shipment takes, then this may be the company for you. Otherwise you have many other options.

I was quoted a price of $2,900.00 and promised a delivery date in early October. Before picking up the vehicle, they raised the price to $3,000.00. They got my vehicle as far as Long Beach, CA, where it sat for approximately one month. I had to contact the truck driver to find out my vehicle had been left with a third party. I tried calling this third party and Total Shipping many times, but couldn't reach anyone by phone for several weeks. When I finally got a hold of someone at Total Car Shipping, I was given a couple of excuses why they could not get the van on the Matson barge. The first was that the gas gauge was not working which I had disclosed to Total Car Shipping at the booking. The second was that the emergency brake was not holding, but it had been working when the van was picked up by Total Car Shipping. I finally had to hire Pasha to pick my van up in Long Beach and take it to their port in San Diego where they loaded it onto their cargo ship and delivered it to Lihue, HI. Their fee was $1,719.00. Matson's charge would have been $1,100.00. When I finally got my van, I noticed someone had driven it approximately 100 miles. When I asked for a refund for the barge part of the shipping charge, they would only refund me $702. I had to file a credit card dispute to get the remaining $400 back. I was never given a receipt or any kind of breakdown of the charges. This was a very stressful company to deal with. I wondered if I would ever see my classic car again and at one point thought I would have to fly to California just to locate it.

Started discussing my desire to have a Toyota Camry moved from zip code 33321 to zip code 08203, in very EARLY July. Their representative NEVER disclosed that MAT was nothing more than a broker, No ability to insure they would get the automobile moved on the requested and agreed upon dates. Discussions began in early July and they constantly said they were trying to get a "trucker " to take the job. Only after delay after delay did they say they could do NOTHING but continue to watch the " board " and "HOPE" they could get a trucker to take on the assignment. Even after increasing the job cost from $850.00 to $1,000.00, did they still "FAIL". Finally after 3 full weeks with NO success, did I take the assignment away from them. I would NOT use MAT if they said they would do the assignment for $0.00! I hope a prospective client reads this review and makes a better decision than I did.
