AMAZING SERVICE !!!…read more If you're looking for someone to shine your car, stop looking, Zip Auto Ship gave me an excellent service and stress free experience. On time and great communication, Thank you Josh for the help, I would definitely recommend to friends and family

I don't even know where to start. After hours of digging through Google, Reddit threads, Yelp…read morereviews... you name it, I was genuinely overwhelmed trying to find the right company to ship my (new to me) classic car (1967 Mustang). It feels like every transport company has either horror stories of the car falling off the trailer and the driver didn't have insurance, car was taken to the Mexican boarder and never seen again, or obviously fake reviews. I eventually landed on Zip Auto Ship for two big reasons. First, the sheer number of legit 5-star reviews. Not AI-written nonsense, no bots, actual people with real experiences. I honestly didn't believe it at first. Second, I called and spoke with Josh, and that conversation alone pretty much sealed it. He didn't give me the usual sales pitch. He walked me through how the process works, why prep and proper insurance coverage matter, and how carefully he vets the carriers he works with. It was clear he actually cares about doing things the right way, and that immediately put me at ease. For context, I got five quotes total: two from friends' recommendations, two local companies, and then Josh at ZipAutoShip. Not only did Josh have the best reviews and the most transparent communication, but his quote was the best price by a noticeable margin. About 10% cheaper than everything else I looked at. And again... zero pressure. No pushing, no guilt-tripping, just straight answers and a fair number. From there, he made the whole thing ridiculously easy. He took my info, contacted the current owner on my behalf, coordinated everything with the carrier, and lined up the pick-up and delivery without me having to babysit the process. The car showed up at my door in Little Rock four business days after my first call with him. Smooth, simple, exactly what you hope for when shipping a vehicle but rarely get. And honestly, one of the things I appreciated most: he didn't spam me afterward. No "hey can you leave a review?" messages, no follow-up hustle. Just a job well done and letting the work speak for itself. That actually says a lot about the kind of business he runs. If I ever have to ship a car again, there's absolutely no question I'm calling Josh. Save yourself the headache and just go with Zip Auto Ship.

Absolutely awful experience. I called their representative 7 times in 2 weeks and never received a…read morecall back. When it came time for the vehicle to be picked up, I got a call at 4:00 saying that the truck had broken down. I had made it very clear that I had to leave the city the next day, and they could pick it up anytime over a two week period. The vehicle had to be picked up without me there to inspect, with the keys hidden outside. It was delivered 4 days later, and I was charged an extra 30% by the driver. I was told by car shippers that it was not their problem, but that the price had changed and they "forgot" to let me know. After 30 mins they agreed to refund me the 30%. It has been a week and I have received no communication from them. All of my calls go to voicemail with no call back.

And there was no way to cancel service and get back prepayment. When finally car was delivered, driver refused to release the car, until paid $400 more than stated in my agreement with the broker. Turned out that they make one agreement with the u, providing attractive quote, then separate agreement with the driver with the higher quote, without informing u about it! And imagine, day before delivery, I was insured by them, that quote from my agreement is final! Ugly tricks!!!

Run, don't walk away from this company…read more I hired Total Car Shipping on September 3, 2015, to ship a 1947 Chevy Panel Van from Troy, NY to Lihue, HI. I was quoted a price of $2,900.00 and promised a delivery date in early October. Before picking up the vehicle, they raised the price to $3,000.00. They got my vehicle as far as Long Beach, CA, where it sat for approximately one month. I had to contact the truck driver to find out my vehicle had been left with a third party. I tried calling this third party and Total Shipping many times, but couldn't reach anyone by phone for several weeks. When I finally got a hold of someone at Total Car Shipping, I was given a couple of excuses why they could not get the van on the Matson barge. The first was that the gas gauge was not working which I had disclosed to Total Car Shipping at the booking. The second was that the emergency brake was not holding, but it had been working when the van was picked up by Total Car Shipping. I finally had to hire Pasha to pick my van up in Long Beach and take it to their port in San Diego where they loaded it onto their cargo ship and delivered it to Lihue, HI. Their fee was $1,719.00. Matson's charge would have been $1,100.00. When I finally got my van, I noticed someone had driven it approximately 100 miles. When I asked for a refund for the barge part of the shipping charge, they would only refund me $702. I had to file a credit card dispute to get the remaining $400 back. I was never given a receipt or any kind of breakdown of the charges. This was a very stressful company to deal with. I wondered if I would ever see my classic car again and at one point thought I would have to fly to California just to locate it.
