After a year of lock-down plus at least the year of "i'll do it tomorrow" it really needed some TLC. My goal, get a Wash to see if there was a need to go into a deeper detailing service. As the car has leather seats, and full WeatherTech floor liners, getting out the dust and crumbs should be easy sledding. Not so fast apparently. I again chose the highest service wash they offer and as I got out of the car the attendant looked in the car and said "We can't do that for your car". After I questioned why, he replied that the car was too dirty and needed an appointment to have detailing done. I said I just wanted to have the service complete and I would decide if I needed additional services after I saw the outcome. to this he told me, "We can do the outside, not inside". I asked "Don't you have a vacuum?" the reply came and stunned me "Not for your car. You haven't been here in two years." The kicker to all this is when I said to him "I don't understand" of course meaning "I do not understand how a Car Wash is refusing to WASH a CAR because it is too dirty, his response in Broken heavily accented English was "Do you speak English?" THAT'S IT. Final Straw! Camels back is Broken. I will never be back here again. Watch for my positive review of the site that took this same car 10 days later and did their full service top of the line wash, no muss no fuss and no condescending attitude. I said i eight years ago, but this time I'll have the courage of my convictions. I'm adding them to my Dead to me collection, never to be resurrected.

As we're going through the tunnel I noticed the brush on the drivers side is not working, just hanging there like a wet noodle. I mentioned it to the guy at the end of the tunnel but he just shrugged his shoulders. Next stop the guy to dry the car and polish the tires. Well the put a lot of effort into pretending to polish the tires. Sunday morning I take my car in for the same wash. Brush is still not working. So I mention it to the guy drying my car. He says oh yea I heard that. I guess there's no plan to fix it. I noticed that the mirror that's not getting brushed is filthy. The dryer guy doesn't seem to care, why should he. Next he puts a dirty rag on my windshield while pretending to polish my tires which left a big smudge. I ask him to clean it and he looks me like I have a lot of nerve. So let's get down to the nitty gritty. In my business I'm very familiar with this type of business. They're known as "cash cows ". That's right stand a couple of monkeys outside and just collect the money. Well what I typically see is when a business starts having financial problems they stop maintaining the equipment. I used the high pressure soap and high pressure rinse settings and they were good. Did not use the foam brush, the brush looked worn out. Also used their vacuums which they have plenty of, $2 gets you over 3 mins and those also accept credit cards. The vacuum I paid for was not good though, very low suction. But I will definitely come back for the self car wash when I'm in the area.
