Auto Solutions is the best garage in town! I recently moved cross country (Oregon-Rhode Island) and purchased an older used car that needed quite a bit of repair. I first went to Auto Solutions to have the car inspected; I didn't know anything about the garage or the owners, was basically taking a gamble. I had an awesome experience from the get-go! Their shop is really clean and approachable, price was fair, and inspection was super quick! Fred at NE Auto Solutions really helped me out when my wife's Volkswagen had a cracked oil pan. He was very reasonably priced and although I wanted to buy my own oil pan cheaply online and have him install it, he explained to me that the quality of parts available online is often inferior than OEM quality. So today my mother-in-law and I need to get her car inspected before the end of the month after calling several different places and being told it was either going to be in appointment for late next week or the car could get dropped off and maybe be inspected within a couple of hours we decided to take the trip down Tiogue Avenue and search for a inspection station we came across auto solutions and they were very eager and had no wait for us got the car inspected waited about 20 minutes for the whole process to be done car passed with flying colors and no problem. This is a family owned business run by a lovely couple they're very honest with their work and seem to be very trustworthy they even helped me find possible solutions to my car search. Definitely will be coming back to them with any other car troubles they have a guaranteed customer over here when it comes to mechanic shops I am very skeptical as I've been in the business before and know how some of these mechanics run but they are very straightforward and honest about everything they do very please with my experience today read more

Worst place that i have ever had work done. I took my car to New England Auto Solutions to diagnose why my car wasn't starting correctly. I had also requested my tire to be rotated as well. They rotated my tires as i asked.. however they lost a lug nut and used a regular bolt to replace it. It gets worse.. they used a lot of lock tight on each tire. So now i cant change my own tires as easily. When it came to the starting issues, they needed an extra 5 days to diagnose the problem. Finally they told me the car was ready after more than a week of waiting. They re-charged my battery and rotated the tires with excessive lock tight for $200. 2 weeks later a different mechanic replaced my ignition coil and the car has been fine ever since. New England Auto Solutions is the worst place i have ever been. They set the bar high when they take advantage of you. read more

After we finally got the car back on Tuesday, Wednesday on my way home from work the check engine came back on again and the code was the evap emissions cap loose or off which was what this garage was working on ( the evap emissions) so instead of dealing with them we brought it to pepboys and had it fixed in 30 mins for 60.00$ so after all that they didn't even fix the problem correctly! read more
