Prices have gone up a bit since before, but so has everything. They do do a good job here. Inside & out clean. I get a better wash outside the car than your typical drive through car wash. And they vacuum, clean the plastic floor mats, and dust/clean everything inside. I've been going here for probably 8 years now, and will continue to do so. read more

I noticed there was no line so I took a chance and asked for an exterior only. They started cleaning immediately and I went inside to wait. While I was waiting, I went to the guy to pay who hadn't realized I got exterior only and initially charged me for the full package $28. I said I'd only asked for exterior so he was about to refund me but I figured what the heck - and asked them to do the full service. It seemed to take around 7 minutes total, maybe less - felt extremely fast. No fuss, just worked quickly and my car is now squeaky clean. I'm glad I got the interior done too - I hadn't realized how dusty it was until it was clean! Note - the tile floors inside are slippery. You're forced to go into the washing tunnel before interfacing with staff. Once you're in you can't reverse out. They also only use high pressure spray guns. If your car is wrapped or you're looking to protect the paint on your vehicle go elsewhere. read more

Find a better can wash. This is my second time coming here, and after I got home after my first wash, I noticed some issues. I got the spa wash, which is $28. It includes everything, so during the wash, I noticed my tires weren't clean, they missed some spots on the car, and my interior wasn't cleaned. So I'll inspect it before I leave this time. The exact same issues. My rims looked as if they weren't even touched, they were very dirty. My my interior floor mats were wet, and my windows had streaks. Not worth $28. read more

I take my truck here about once a week with my dog. They really do a great job. There are 4 to 6 guys working and they do their busy for each vehicle. Since it's all done by hand, you need to be patient. It's a bit tight to get into the building with a big vehicle. Once you're in, you get out, walk into the office and pay for the service you choose. While I'm waiting, I walk my dog up the trail which is literally right next to it. read more

Talked myself out of washing the car myself I decided to go to this car wash. The wash inside and out was $28 plus tip. All good car was done and I got in drove it out of their garage type car wash and noticed the gear shift area was untouched. I asked for a rag, and here is where the fun begins, the heavy set young man gave me one but began saying things under his breath? Ok? I walked to the car and began to wipe the shifter down, wasn't dirty but it can use the rag. I noticed the cup holder hadn't been done at all. I went back to the same young man and told him about it and he gave me the spray bottle. I asked him if he could do it. He said I should have checked it before I drove off but he did it with a HUGE attitude. "?" I was literally about 10 feet from where they gave me the car. At this point I thought, "Shoot I just paid $28 for the service." He sat down looked busy and walked off. I looked and he did not clean it again. I called him back and he began to mouth off while cleaning the cup holder. He walked off without acknowledging me. All good there. I dont get why this place has bad reviews. I dropped off car today for detailing inside n out, they did phenomenal job. Everything except cover for speakers in back was spot clean. I also had bad smell because my passenger was sprayed by skunk and got in my car but they got rid of that smell too. Well right now the chemical smell is quite overwhelming but that will go away in a few days. Im very pleased with the result and im gonna try for just outside wash and review on that. Seems like people with negative experiences with this place were car wash customers not full on detailing. I definitely recommend this place. I am posting before and after photos. read more

I always see this place on my drive to work. So I figured I give them a shot. I opted for the $20 "DELUXE" wash. After the wash I wanted to inspect my vehicle to see how good they did. Instead I trusted them and drove off home. I get home and see that they only added tire shine on the right side of my vehicle and not on the left. Like WTF did I pay for a half price job. I had my suspicions on this car wash and I was right. If you decide to give them your business. Inspect your vehicle after every wash. Your are paying some good earned money, be sure to get your moneys worth. If I decide to go next, I will definitely be sure to inspect it before driving off. Funny thing is when I drove in in the beginning, there was a lady there complaining that they didn't wash her minivan right. Now I see why. read more

Worst car wash EVER!! They broke my windshield and never tried to inform me before I leave,but thank god I saw it. Then they broke a couple of things in car after that and scratched my windows! I was such a loyal client to them,but after the last incident that happened which was a week ago. Not worth the money or time. It took an hour from when I entered the line until I left. I wasted my money on the spa wash for my SUV. I had to wipe the car down again myself when I got home because the windshield had some weird spotting on it, the side mirrors had greasy residue, and there was still soap on the doors. On the plus side, they did a decent job vacuuming the interior. They were busy today and maybe they were feeling rushed, but I definitely won't be going back. read more

Best place to go (when you have at least 30 min) when you want a good, deep car wash. I always get #3. Outside/inside sparkling clean. The staff is super nice and friendly. Sometimes it's all hands on deck so the cashier person comes in every once in a while. They have coffee for customers, nice, clean waiting area (inside and outside). They also offer detail cleaning, but that requires an appointment but you won't be disappointed ;) Highly recommend this place. Worth the $$ read more

I was saddened to hear that my favorite folks sold their car wash business. I couldn't go back there, it just wasn't going to be the same. In the midst of all that madness, our little family bought a new car. We are huge fans of clean cars and were turned to nowhere else but good ole trustworthy Yelp to help find us a place that can really clean a car. Yelp led us to this place. We were greeted promptly by a really friendly guy named Gilbert. We told him our situation and we told him that we just bought a new car and that we dont quite need a detail since its new but we would really like for him to get in the lil cracks and crevices. Gilbert himself came out to the car and inspected ot and recommended a few things that would work and made a custom cleaning package for us. Since Gilbert welcomed us with open arms, we decided to clean both of our cars. He was very knowledgeable and explained to us all the auto cleaning services they can do. They offer a convenient waiting room while you wait for your wash/detail. The staff here work super efficiently and best of all....our cars were sparkling! They even got those little crevices that are forgotten by most places. The pricing was very reasonable and we found a new place to clean our cars. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Let this be a PSA to all you dirty car owner's: a clean car can just be the start of an awesome day! read more

It stinks that I have to give this place 1 star, especially when majority of the reviews said "stay away" or "they don't clean well" Nonetheless, those reviews were spot on accurate. I only tried this place because it is very close to work. However, I will make sure to continue to give my business to Pierre's Mini Detail Center and Splash. They have been in business for a long time and there is a reason why behind it...they are AWESOME. This place just totally left my car with swirl marks and still dirty marks inside and outside my car. I went on a very sunny day to ensure I could see the work they did. I used to stop here all the time on my way home from work but my role has changed and I don't drive by as much as I used to. I realized that I was taking these guys for granted - I've tried to find a hand car wash service closer to my house as good as this one, but none exist. I drove 20 minutes out of my way this morning just to get my car washed - these guys are amazing! I couldn't be happier with their services - you pay a little extra but for 20 minutes these guys work their butts off and every time my car looks like new. They did a beyond incredible job doing an interior detail to my Honda 2014 Civic! The interior of my car had seen one to many muddy dog paws and my clumsy self spilling Gatorade in the front seat more than once. These people need better communications! I came in on Friday August 2, 2019 at 11am. Since they clean the car pretty good I wanted wax. The man who took the car in confirmed. Iwstched the wash and saw that they did not put wax. I told the cashier and he said I have to tell him and it was to late to do anything. He was sorry and so was I!!! read more

When you pay $26 for a car wash, the expectation is that that all of the visible dirt on the exterior should be cleaned. While they were drying the car I pointed it out and received a shrug. Interior was just glossed over. Seats were not vacuumed properly and and the door jams were not cleaned either. Would not recommend. read more

I pass by this car wash everyday and it's always busy so I decided to wait the long line and give it a try. Horrible job. I had to spend 20 minutes in my drive way cleaning my car after spending $27 on the car wash. Rims weren't clean. They never used the power air dry. All the water was dripping out of my front grill and my side mirrors. I expected a way better job. Atleast I know not to come back to this place again. If rather drive to Jefferson park. I have always been insanely OCD about washing my car. To give you an idea, each time I wash my car in my driveway, it takes a few hours. When I lived in the city I had a favorite place to go to for a perfectly done hand wash that would satisfy even the most obsessive person like myself (I won't name names here, I don't want to turn this review into an advertisement for the other place). Since I now spend most of my time in the suburbs and it's too cold to wash my car outside, I spent some time searching for a hand car wash place nearby that would hopefully live up to my expectations. I found Auto Spa in Niles, and unfortunately it did not satisfy me. One of the primary requirements for a good safe car wash is using a fresh clean wash mitt every time. When I wash my car at home, the wash mitt is always 100% clean and free of any dirt, debris, etc. before I get started. My old spot in Chicago always used freshly washed/dried wash mitts for each and every car. I called Auto Spa and specifically asked if they change out the mitts for each car. They told me that they always did. When I arrived and they started washing my car, I noticed that they were reusing the same old mitts that they had used on all the other cars. The mitts were worn down, and darkened with dirt and debris. After they're done washing your car, they drop the mitt in a bucket with dirty water, and then use it for the next car. That's a huge no-no if you want a scratch free wash. When drying the car, they use an air compressor to blow out water from all the little cracks and crevices of the car. Unfortunately, the man drying the driver's side of my car was talking on his cell phone while blowing the air out, and did not do a thorough job. On the drive home, water was shooting out of my driver's side mirror (causing my just washed car to get water spots and streaks), while the passenger's side was perfectly dry. Also, as I was doing my walk around inspection before leaving the wash (I don't think they expected me to do that), I noticed several spots that had some sort of water or soap smear that I needed them to take care of. Looking at the paint after they were done with it, it looks like their dirty mitts did in fact add some very thin scratches (spider webs, swirls, whatever you want to call it) to my previously clear paint. Major disappointment. In the end it cost me $13 + tip for an exterior wash and wheel/tire wash. For comparison, it would have cost me $15 + tip at my normal place in Chicago (which ends up being the same commute time to this place) to get a much better wash. To sum it up: I would say that this place is fine for your average person that just wants a clean car but at the same time does not want to put their car through the scratch-o-matic (a.k.a. drive thru "soft touch" car washes) or touchless washes that strip all the wax/sealant off the car. However, for the person that wants a perfectly washed car with impeccable technique that does not add any fine scratches to your paint, Auto Spa is not the place for you. read more

Avoid this place. My co-workers and I said we'd never go back -but I did. They charge a full $20 plus for a wash (which is standard in the suburbs) but they never get close to getting it right. Most often they barely dry off your car, probably because the wash area is not lit well. If you are not looking they won't turn on the undercarriage wash. Most recently they left me with standing water in the passenger side floor with mud from the wash guy's shoe. My car was actually dirtier than when I arrived plus I was $25 lighter including tip and I spent 45 minutes with resolve and a sponge to clean the mess they made. HORRIBLE!!!! I wash my car myself all the time and even my girls car time to time because i know it'll get done right. She needed one bad and it was still a little cold out and the hose was put up for the winter. So we pick a place on the way home from work. We payed I think $15 for the basic. They're suppose to vacuum, clean the center counsel, door jams, and the car of course. All didn't even look to be done except the outside. There was a magnet on the outside and they didn't even clean under it. I'm very OCD about cleaning my car. I think the other guy with the OCD review is probably worse than I am, his review was too long to read but I got some of it. This place sucks. My car was literally dirtier when they said it was d9ne than when i got there. There was grease all over the car. They said it was tree sap and that only a buff could get it off. When i ran my finger on it, it was greasy noy sticky. The windows were also greasy. They wash we d it a second time and not much better. Its no wonder that on a beautiful day this place was empty. I stopped there today to have my car washed. I requested the Spa Wash which is their most expensive wash and they did a terrible job. When I got back in my car I noticed the top of the center console was still dirty. I just thought they missed it and didn't think much of it and left. Once I drive a few blocks away I noticed that they never cleaned the doors, the top of the dash or near the cup holders where I had spilled some coffee. There was dust on the top of steering wheel base where it extends from the dash. The spa wash includes tire shine and I noticed that the passenger wheels had it applied but not the driver wheels. They also didn't bother to vacuum the inside of the cargo area of the car which had debris in it. This was one of the worst "hand" car washes I've had and certainly wasn't worth the $30 I paid plus tip. I won't go back there again!!! read more
