Run down car wash that is need of some serious repairs and updates. There's better car washes in the area.

My car was filthy less than 15 hours later and when I returned to ask if they'd run it through again, they had no record of my original wash and refused to rewash it for free. I never received a receipt yet could tell them the time and who helped me, as well as the fact I used the vacuums, but the guy refused to believe me so charged me again. If I could make this zero stars I would. My family and I have been going to this car wash for years. A freak accident broke my Lexus GX 470 passenger mirror. The machine hit my car so hard it shook and the employees even heard when the mirror broke. They stopped the car wash and helped me find the piece inside. I filed a report with them right away and was told they would definitely take responsibility. What a joke! A week later, I was called saying that their cameras could see that the mirror was already old and they would not pay me. I was told that I should just glue it back on. Like are you kidding me? This is some serious bs because as a client who has been going here for years- you would imagine they would care & own up that their machine broke my car's mirror. I won't ever be going back and I'll be telling my family & friends! Everyone, please save yourself the headache and go someplace else. read more

I've been a weekly customer for many years. There used to be staff on hand to offer hand drying, but I haven't seen anyone in months. Today, 7/12/23, at 12:30, I went through the automatic wash. I drove up, and the signal bell sounded. I could see the attendant's head in the cubicle, but it took several seconds for the attendant to get up from sitting and respond to the bell. Sleeping? Although I greeted the attendant will a polite smile, the same was not returned. It was as if she was annoyed that she had to get up. She simply glared at me and never uttered a word. This is not a language barrier, it's just simply rude. Today was not the first time she's behaved like this. Management needs to have a conversation. read more

My only carwash i use but lately Every time I come here the employees are always rude and snotty. They never say hi or thank you or welcome. You tell them what you want and they just hold out there hand for the payment and dont say the price or nothing,nada,zilch,.the carwash is 350 except on weekends and holidays its 375, there's also always people willing to dry your car at the end of the carwash for a couple of bucks.the wash does a decent job. But wish i was treated like a loyal paying customer. Not like im bothering them. read more

Been pretty happy here.....usually get to come here on friday, and get the best wash as it allows you to come back after 5 business days (the reason for the 4 stars is that i was under the impression that it was a week...not a business week. I felt misled at the time.) Hasn't stopped me from coming back though. My car washed here is better than going to a shell or a gas station wash (although it would do iin a pinch, you would get streaks) The other benefits of this place are outdoor stalls so you can do your own car cleaning after feeding the meter to use the nozzle spray. Another section is for vacuum and air. They pretty much have alot of what you need right there....and there is a car parts auto place pretty much next door where i got my rim cleaner at. Overall...a good experience. Oh yeah when you get the top clean you get a free air freshner! I posted some pics on here from another site....when I can i will post my own. read more

Tried it for the first time last weekend for a basic wash $3.75. The final result was as cheap as the price. The wash was not clean. There was still soap left on my tiny car and one window was sticky after the wash. Also, the vacuum costs $1 while a lot of other places with similar prices offer free vacuum. DO NOT recommend this place at all. I would suggest Skokie Car wash in the area, which offers $5 for a basic CLEAN wash plus free vacuum. read more

Damaged rims, scratched body... Owner and manager swear it wasn't their machines, they do thousands of cars a day. What irrates me more is that their owner is such a sarcastic POS. The scratches on the car are minimal and I would forgive. But the rims on the left side ONLY of my car are not forgivable. He takes no ownership of the possibility of his machine. It's not us, it's the city and way you drive. t(-, -)t... Take some ownership! And realize there's a chance your machine screwed up a car. I can't control others not complaining... Not my issues they don't care about their car as much as I do and inspect it religiously. Take your car here if you like at your own choice. As for me. I'm going to Luckys Car Wash down he street. Pay more, but you get an excellent wash and service hand washed and not machines. Cheap route here. You pay for what you get. Never again will I be at this wash, the owner is a joke and knows nothing about customer service. I'm sure his Chicago location is a POS, which reflects the management skills. The worst carwash I've been to. The equipment/belts that they use scratched the finish on the front hood of the vehicle. The manager operating this business is nothing more than a jerk with an attitude. Unhelpful, defensive, arguing and threatening. I had to file police report and will be taking legal action. If you want damaged rims and tires this is the place to go. Scratched my rims and tore a chunk off my tire. The guide rails at the point of entry has a metal cylinder piece with a protruding sharp edge. This is what causes the damage if your car is a little to the left of the rail at entry . Don't take my word for it , go check it out yourself. Yelp should allow a no star review option for this place. read more

Terrible wash, my car is still filthy and covered in soap suds. The lady at the counter is incredibly rude, and paying extra for the guy to hand dry is just not worth it. I do NOT recommend this wash at all. First time ever my side mirror was knocked in a car wash. I'm ticked that I lost the $3.75. Yes, $3.75 because it's MLK day. This car wash place is the place to go for cheap car wash only. I paid $1 more for under carriage wash and twice in a row they failed to spray any water to the under carriage. They bait you in with a cheap basic wash (which is fine by my standards) but anything additional, they will just take your money and not carry it out. This business practice is breach of contract. Would I take them to small claims court for $1? Not worth wasting my time but this place is a fraud for anything other than a cheap basic wash. For a cheap car wash. It gets the job done! It is 10 cars deep on a nice warm winter day! It never seems to get the back license plate area clean, but if I dry it myself the dirt comes off. Staff is not that friendly, but the guys who will towel dry your car are nice! read more

Beyond terrible place, please stay as far away as possible, manual car wash dock in the self service area was filthy; full of junk, dirt, debris, drywall screws, framing screws and nails...YES NAILS...I KID YOU NOT. I stopped counting after 20 each and left as quickly and carefully as I could in order to avoid my car tires picking up any of the nails, drywall screws and framing screws. I was beyond shocked, is nobody even trying to keep this place clean and presentable? Pavement is falling apart around the whole place, potholes and lose road material all over the place. I frequent many manual car wash establishments all around Chicago area and suburbs and this is by far the worst place I have ever seen, it is shockingly bad. Low prices and great service . They have everything you need in one place . If you have any problems or concerns they will help you as best as they can. Going into a car wash can be complicated due to the rails. It isn't the easiest thing , but they guide you and help you through . My car gets completely cleaned . The self service side of this car was is less than average. Vacuum lacks power don't waste your money on the vacuum. During the last two weeks they raised their price twice by 25%. It used to be $2 foe 4 minutes now it's $3. If you have an suv expect to pay over $11 for self service and you will dry your own car. I would rather pay $15 for hand car wash and not to worry about doing it myself. The place is getting too greedy. read more

It's cheap, but if you have a larger SUV, their equipment totally misses the entire back rear of the car. I thought that this was just a fluke, so I tried it again, and sure enough, my Pilot is clean in the front and sides, but filthy on the entire back lift gate. Consider yourself warned. read more

This place is a joke!11 My car got sandwiched between 2 car (front and rear bumper damaged) due to the attendant not paying attention to stop the track when some jerkwad stopped in the process of the car wash. I hit the car in front of me the I preceded to get hit in the rear by the car behind me. Owner calls me back and states the they are not responsible for the way people drive inside the car wash.
