They appear to be an ethical establishment and do things right. In my case, I have a very tedious windshield that requires quite a few steps just to remove, including replacement of multiple body painted garnishes. Many in the business are not aware of the fact that these items need to be replaced. However, Alfredo actually made a walk-through video regarding the install of this shield and the pitfalls associated with it. Alfredo's generously gave me their time and answered any and all questions I might have had. I believe I will be utilizing them in an inevitable future windshield replacement. Unlike their previous operation, where you could easily reach a live person and they would help coordinate directly with your insurance company, everything is now handled through automated text messages. I was never able to get a live representative on the phone despite multiple attempts. After being told to contact my insurance company myself and open a claim (something Safe Choice used to handle for customers), I completed the process and attempted to follow up. Again, no answer--just more automated texts. Eventually, I received a text message to schedule an appointment and booked service for 8:30 AM on Tuesday, 6/2. The problem? Nobody ever showed up. No phone call, no text, no email, and no explanation. I wasted my entire morning waiting for a technician who never arrived. The company advertises itself as "#1 in Windshields," but based on my experience they might be #1 in not showing up to do the work. This level of communication and customer service is extremely unprofessional. Customers shouldn't have to chase down basic information or sit around waiting for appointments that are never honored.
