    Employee didnt show up for my first appointment but the owner reached out and apologized then gave me discount for the windshield replacement. Owner clearly cares about his customers and will try his best to make amends .

    Hi everyone! This is one of those reviews for services you never hope you need. Yesterday, driving down the road on the 91, one of those gravel trucks dropped some decent sized rocks onto the freeway. As such, I was a lucky recipient of one of those star shaped cracks right in the middle of my windshield!. Not wanting for it to get worse, I jumped on Yelp to find a repair place. A couple of spots down the list I spot Safe Choice Auto Glass. They advertise a 10 minute repair and have like a 4.9 rating with 293 reviews! That told me, look no further! I gambled and drive right over without an appointment. Safe choice has a small bay as part of an oil change business. But don't let that disturb you. I was greeted promptly up arriving by the owner. He was neat, polite and very friendly. Told me he could shoot a resin in the windshield to repair the crack for only $89.99. Score! And have me out of the in about 10 minutes! True to his word, about 10 minutes later I was out of there with a freshly repaired windshield for far less than a new one would have cost! Safe Choice definitely earned all those 5 reviews!     I'm honestly surprised by all the positive reviews. I was told the service would take about an hour, but when that time passed and I began asking how much longer it would be, the technician seemed immediately irritated. Despite my repeated attempts, I never received a clear answer about the wait time. I reached out to Travis, the owner, for help, but he responded by saying, "I'm confused why you aren't asking the technician." I'm sorry to bother you. I confused you with an involved owner that cared about his business and customers. I then asked to pay in advance to speed things up, but the technician had me enter my information twice and repeatedly walked away without completing the transaction. After another 20 minutes passed, I followed up again, only to be met with rudeness and told to talk to the owner. In the end, I was late picking up my daughter over an hour late and never even got my car calibrated. I won't be returning due to the poor customer service and complete lack of communication. Update to respond to Travis: I'm genuinely surprised by the inaccuracies in your response. My husband and I have not been to your business six times in the past 14 months. I arrived early--not just on time--for my appointment, and only began asking for an update after the one-hour timeframe you initially quoted had passed. The main issue wasn't the wait itself, but the complete lack of communication about how much longer it would take, and the unnecessarily rude behavior from your technician. As I explained to him, I had a child to pick up and needed to notify their school if I was going to be late. I never said it would take 30 minutes. I said 1 hour. He didn't ask me to reschedule. How would he if my windshield was already removed?? I never said "do it as quick as you can" . Also, I never called your "receptionist" a liar--especially since every time I called, YOU answered the phone. So I'm unsure who you're referring to or why you would misrepresent what happened. Your version of events is oddly inaccurate and frankly, concerning. I would love to see these voice recordings and video footage you have to back up your story. lol No need to worry--my vehicle will be calibrated, just not by your business. Update - I arrived at 1:15 and left at 3:00. It took ONE HOUR AND FORTY FIVE MINUTES to put the new windshield on ONLY without calibration. Your first response said I arrived at 1:30 and left at 3:00 which is an hour and half. Your updated response says I left within 62 mins. Which is it? You can't even keep your lies straight. I never called anyone a liar expect for you right now. You are lying and it's weird. Post the camera footage of me arriving at 1:15 and leaving at 3:00 without you completing the entire service you quoted. Accept the fact you took longer than quoted and didn't even complete the whole service, have a rude technician, zero communication skill, zero customer service skills and lie about really odd things. Update on 6/9/2025 when you randomly added a different response 2 weeks later with more random lies - My husband name isn't Raul and we do not have a Silverado/Colorado. I never said I didn't want my car calibrated. I paid twice what you quoted me to get my car calibrated at reputable business. You should really stop replying. You can't keep up with your own lies.

    Is this not proof that I did attempt. I also stopped by the shop.

    It's been two weeks and no one has reached out. I've stopped by twice and they have been closed. Well at least if they are closed they can't ripoff anyone else.

    When I say the customer service is off the charts, I truly mean it. Travis, the owner, and his team went above and beyond to take care of me. They installed a brand-new windshield on my vehicle with precision and care. What really stood out was the follow-up--Travis personally reached out a few days later to ensure everything was going smoothly and that I was completely satisfied. That level of attention is rare. I have nothing but respect for this company. If you need a windshield repair or replacement, give them a shot--you won't regret it.

    Safe Choice is literally one of the best and cleanest windshield repairs shops I've ever gone too. This is my third time coming here I managed fleet trucks and my mom recently repaired her windshield her as well. The service is awesome they're super organized with scheduling and sometimes they finish sooner than expected. If gives you an option to get OEM on request, but Aftermarket is the way to go since those are basically the same manufacturers that manufacture it for cars just rebranded. This place is super convenient for me as well and makes me want a crack on my windshield so I can get a new one. Thanks again to Travis and his team.

Today, Anthony followed through and repaired a couple of cracks on the passenger side and thoroughly explained the process. I am grateful that these types of repairs don't require driving to the shop. I highly recommend the Riverside location!     Second time using Safelite Riverside, CA location with poor results. First time the technician got…read moredirt all over my driver side A-pillar. Brand new car at the time. Failed to properly recalibrate my sensors correctly so my speedometer was off by 4mph. I didn't feel like going back so I just lived with it. Recently I gave them another chance (years later) and I had the same experience with the technician getting grease on now my passenger side A-pillar. Worst of all my head up display on my glass is now crooked (no adjustment for this on my car - only up, down, left, right). The technician said there was also a problem with the plastic piece that glass sits on saying it comes that way from the factory sometimes. Ironically I had him show me and he was able to fix it. Little did he know, they were the last people who installed my glass. Not very truthful with what he was telling me. He tried showing me how it doesn't snap on place correctly, once he moved it, it went in place just fine. Gave this place a second chance because the Rancho location has similar reviews, I'll be taking future business to another reputable company at this point.
