5 Star The Manager Ashley and Crew Leader Connor are Outstanding at this location. To say I was enormously impressed with the staff and what they did this morning is an understatement . After my car came out of the wash bay and Ashley and Connor wiped it over with clean towels my car looked showroom condition again. I feel dedicated customers it is up to us to always show appreciation where it is due in the form of a nice tip or go the extra mile to contact upper management and let them know how pleased we are with the services and what a fine job they are doing at this location. In particular performing above top levels of customer service. To me it is about customer service and being a lifelong repeat satisfactory customer the service I received from Ashley and Connor this morning was top notch and as I always come to expect from this dynamic duo as usual. Honestly my car looked brand NEW after Ashley and Connor finished up even lifting my trunk to wipe the excess water from running down after I leave. Wow I am impressed!!! I was disappointed with my experience. Customer service was lacking, and the interior cleaning was not acceptable. The car was not thoroughly vacuumed, the windows remained dirty, and the door jambs were not cleaned. I had to clean the door jambs and vacuum the interior myself after returning home due to the poor quality of work. For $36, the service felt like a basic drive-through wash. I expected a higher level of attention to detail for the price. Based on this experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this car wash. read more

I paid for the upgraded package on my new car, after they turned my car back I had to ask the staff member to clean up water from the leather seats and debris that was missed. They did such a sloppy job! They didn't wipe down the exterior and got tires spray on my trim. read more

Well back in May of 2025 I bought one of your specials 62.00 with a ticket for another day so today I just went to redeem that coupon and the attendant said it was already redeemed after he tried 3 more times he said he would take care of it which he did I received my car was it will make me not to purchase your coupon special again,they did a good job on the car just the coupon experience was annoying. Fairly decent car wash. I bought the premium car wash plus armor all. Was hoping they would do a great job in the inside. Lots of dirt left in the car, didn't clean cup holders and I can't tell that they actually armored all anything. Very disappointing for a $40 - $50 car wash. read more

Complete disappointment. Husband paid for the interior manager's special and they didn't even touch the back (see photo). We were sure to remove all of our stuff before taking it in, they weren't busy at all, my husband was the only car being serviced at the time. They worked for maybe 20 minutes. My husband didn't think to check their work before leaving, but he shouldn't have to. Payment for service is trusting that service will be done well and correctly the first time. When I got in the van today and saw how poorly it'd been cleaned I came to the reviews and noticed there are far too many that say they had to tell Autobell to go back over something or point out missed spots. That is unacceptable. Don't offer a service if you will not execute it correctly. I hope for improvements for others, but will not be returning. read more

Not sure what is going on with this location within the last few months. I used to come through about once a week on my way home from work. Recently it's been a nightmare trying to get my truck cleaned out. Pay for full service and get unenthusiastic half service results. There doesn't seem to be any organization with the folks working here and no one seems to be in charge. Has been taking several minutes to be greeted and get into the wash after a drone with no personality rings me up. Wash usually does a very good job, but the human element seems to struggle. No one knows which spot or line to pull into to get vacuumed and wiped down. Door jambs, parts of dash, and sections of windows have been missed the 3 times through. Tire shine only ever makes it onto about 2/3 of each tire. The vacuum hose gets drug through puddles and then into my seats and I've mentioned something to kids vacuuming, but no one seems to care. Going to try Sam's express or just wash it myself from now on. Won't be returning to this location. read more

I went through the car wash after asking if they could only do the inside of my car, was told no that I had to go through the automated car wash. No one offered or mentioned I should have to tape up my side mirror as it was connected to the car and functioning properly. As soon as I came out my mirror was off the hinge, it is now hanging there, not useable. I filed a claim with the manager on duty. The guys noticed it was off as they tried to place it back in place. I received a call from the store manager the next day asking me to bring the car back in so he could see it. I did and was told that since there was a preexisting scratch that the store would not be liable. Irregardless my mirror was working fine and is now needing to be replaced because I used them. The manager was apologetic but that doesn't excuse it. I would say don't use them, they don't really ever do that great of a job at least the number of times I've been. I would like to commend Autobell on a great customer experience. I went to get a car wash on Saturday evening, my car is super clean inside and out. I had a small incident during my visit somehow my car key for my daughter's car came off the ring into the pocket of the young man wiping my car down. There was no way for him to know who it belonged to me because I was driving a different car so he turned it in at the end of his shift. I realized the key was missing today and contacted the call center for Autobell to send a message to the location. Shortly thereafter I received a call from the location manager letting me know the key was found. I arrived a couple of hours later to pick up the key and it was there with an apology note. I just want to express how grateful I am for them keeping and returning the key and for the fantastic service during my car wash on Saturday. These young men work really hard. read more

Apparently they only clean half of the inside of the car even though you pay for the entire car to be cleaned. The passenger side of our car was not touched with a vacuum neither was the rear. Expect for a dirty towel to streak the rear window. Add in the odor of mildew from the dirty towel I slept the afternoon re-cleaning a car I had just paid to be cleaned. read more

Be careful ! They lost my keys, and manager said this happened earlier this week to another customer.... Aside from the issue I couldn't drive my car, the wash itself was worse than rainfall. My service at this location today was awful. It began when my car finished the power wash stage and no one came to drive it to the drying/cleaning area. It sat at the back of the store with the key in and not an attendant around. I saw Paul walking back and forth, repeatedly, doing nothing and then realized he was the attendant that would service my car. I sat next to the car while he worked in slo mo, and in very short time he said he was done. I told him I wanted to walk around the car to check it and found that he hadn't cleaned the wheels (I paid a full service price), the windows, the dash, or the console properly (I mean VERY poorly) and the vacuuming wasn't thorough. Autobell is an expensive car wash, but I have used them in Texas and Charlotte for years because I thought they did a thorough job. That is NOT the case here in Gastonia where I now live. BEWARE! I frequent the Autobell on Hudson Blvd. I have an unlimited plan for the full service wash. Today as I pulled up to get my car washed, I was informed that I have to drive my car thru MYSELF and park it (even though I get the interior cleaned as well) due to Covid19. I REALLY don't see a point in all this! They still have to get in my car to clean the inside... SO WHAT'S THE POINT!! If they're going to continue doing this, I WILL NOT renew my monthly plan! Also, if they're going to continue this, they need to come down on their prices! I'm not going to pay for a service that doesn't include what I'm paying for. When the pandemic started, they initially charged $3 to spray sanitizer every time you had your car washed. Now with having an unlimited plan, I wasn't paying $3 every single time I had my car washed, so I didn't go as much. I assume allot of complaints were written and that stopped. So now... Let's do sesh with this "riding thru with your car" for interior as exterior services. The employees are still having to get in the car to clean the interior. Autobell do better please!! No stars. Took my car for a $4 quick wash. Mid-way thru the cycle, my car lurched and began to back up. I heard a series of booms as my car was jolted. The car then proceeded thru the cycle. Once out, I immediately got out and discovered an enormous dent in my driver's side rear panel. An employee finally came out after I motioned for him and the manager soon followed. They wrote up a claim and told me they had never seen such a thing and suggested that perhaps the dent was already there. my car is 15 years old with less than 12,000 miles on it -- so it has been babied and I know every inch of it. It was not dented. After meeting with the district manager on Monday, he told us that he could not fathom how the dent could have been made and said that Autobell would not be responsible. He gave me a customer service number and an address that any correspondance from my lawyer might be sent to. I've been going to this same location since before it was taken over by Autobell and always been satisfied. It is never good to call your customer a liar either outright or in veiled terms. This is not good customer service, and, as you must already know, I will go out of my way to tell everyone. read more

I took my car to auto bell on union road in gastonia today. I always wash my own car. But the tree's at my job had my car covered in these little black sticky dots. I have washed my car before and got them off myself with just a little more elbow grease. I paid $24.00 for the wash supposedly a clear coat protection, and to half ass vacuum the inside. They don't even remove your mats. And they didn't get any of the black sticky dots off my car not one! And I specifically told the girl that checked me in that was the main reason I brought my car to them. So when my car was ready I told the guy that cleaned my car I wanted that stuff off! His excuse to me for not removing the black sticky dots was that he didn't want to scratch my car. Here is a little tip auto bell if you use a soft wet soapy cloth that stuff will come off! I have done it myself. I don't know what kind of idiot they take customers for but soft cloths don't scratch and I'm pretty sure that's all they use. So after I tipped him 10 dollars plus the 24 for the half ass wash! That's 34 dollars for my car to still be covered in sticky black dots. I will never ever go there again! Customers enter AutoBell car washes under the condition of assuming their equipment is working correctly. Something happened to Auto Bell's equipment as I was rolling through and damages done to my car is a result of Auto Bell's faulty equipment. My OEM factory trunk lid is bent, my OEM factory paint is scratched and chipping as a result the damages caused, my rear spoiler was ripped off my car, bolts ripped completely through and destroyed my trunk lid. This is the result of faulty equipment. I was in the my car riding through the wash when the equipment went faulty, I saw the machines mess up. And when I came out, employees admitted they heard and saw it happen. But yet, what amazes me is that while it was happening nobody that works at Auto Bell and monitors the auto washes thought "oh crap, something's messing up, let's hit the emergency shut off" After inspecting my car more closely and taking more pictures, I can see where the metal side rollers used in the car wash was faulty, and I have proof because it severely scuffed and grabbed right above my gas tank on side of my car while inside the wash., as AutoBell's metal side rollers got stuck and was off alignment and then proceeded to take out my rear spoiler. It's going to be cheaper for Auto Bell to repair and right the situation, because by the time I get done with them... I guarantee you it will cost them a bunch more money in bad publicity than what simply repairing the damage they caused will cost. And I will get a lawyer involved if Auto Bell gives me trouble and doesn't want to fix this. This will be shared on social media outlets, local news stations and the BBB - until Auto Bell repairs my car! Equipment malfunction or neglect of upkeep is not the customer's fault under any terms. I'm sure there has to be a log of maintenance on the equipment. I'd be interested to see if a log of maintenance exists, especially since Auto Bell failed to complete their portion of the incident report that they signed off on and gave me that states whether or not they inspected their equipment after the incident occurred, because truth is they never inspected the equipment after my incident occurred as both my husband and I were standing in clear view watching the employees scrambling around. Sounds like fishy business to me. I made sure to document everything. Auto Bell, I know you carry liability insurance as all businesses are required to for incidents such as what occurred with me while at your location. Fix my car and right the situation or my lawyer will. read more
