Yes, this location gets 5 stars from me!!! Not only is it hell on Earth today, these poor guys had to work in it. I opted for the managers special as my baby needed the extra attention since I've been driving around with Zoe (my friends dog). This young man went well above the call of duty to take care of my baby. I was sweatin' just watching him fine detail my 'stang. He even vacuumed it twice, he wasn't happy with the first one preformed. What a sweet and polite gentleman... Some of the folk around here should take lesson from him. I have been going to this location for years. If I was you I would NOT go to this location. I went there today to get my car cleaned. When I went through the wash I noticed that the first wiper was not working properly. When I get to the end the waterfall that rinses your car was also not working. When I parked the Assistant Manager Nate told me it would be alright that when they dried it it would remove the soap. I was not born yesterday and know that will only smear the soap around on my car. He said I could get back in line and go through again. Mind you there was 10 cars in line and I had already waited 15 minutes to get the first wash. I asked for a refund and he said they do not give refunds and if I did not like that then I could just leave. This is the most awful experience I have ever had. This is one location I will never visit again. read more

Horrible...horrible...horrible. Didn't wipe windows...cup holders and this isn't the first time. I will never go back. Cost me $40 for them to shine my tires and send through the car wash. It's not hard to wipe windows and cup holders. I had already cleaned the car. It just needed a little bit more to make it look great! Lazy kids work there! I have the monthly plan, wash, wipe down and vacuum. The last few times I have been to the Autobell on New Hope Rd in Gastonia, my car is literally dry before anyone goes to it. If my service is the equivalent of a ride thru, why am I being charged so much more monthly. read more

these kids don't know what they're doing. after I paid almost 50$ and 10$ tip they just watched while I finished drying my car with my own towels like it should have been done, plus didnt wipe down my threshold. plus I didn't get my scent I paid for. this place is a joke unless you have a 30 year old grocery getter. read more

I got a carwash and added the master autovac service. The team there was very nice and provided excellent customer service. I was really impressed with the vacuum service as there was dog hair and dirt all on and around the mats and they were super clean when I got the vehicle back. Took my car to get it washed outside and cleaned inside today. I was a little apprehensive to come back because the last time I took my car to this same Auto Bell they did a terrible job. The inside job was awful. Whoever did the inside of the car, you could tell they were going through the motions but today, I has someone that took pride in what they were doing. Brian took his time, didn't rush and made me believe in young people again. Because of Brian, I will visit this Auto Bell again because I know that there is someone that will try and do a first class job. Way to go Brian! Don't ever compromise that wonderful work ethic. well what has happened to Autobell? I know many dont have enough help but you cant do halfway jobs either. They are very friendly but they do a terriable job. My Camry wheels were not wiped as well as all dooe jams.Around the liscense plate at the rear. I am tired of paying $32 for a wash and then come home and wipe the dirt off. I have used Autobell since 2020 when I bought my new car decided. At first there were some issues with the vacuuming not getting besides the seats and just missing places but the new system they put in is fabulous and I haven't had any complaints on the cleaning since. Ms. Sally B inwish I had better words to stay but honestly I dont I have looked over it the last 2 times since we spoken and I'm done. Today again my car looks crappy on the floors and windows being streaked.Im on my way back down there now and will not renew my card again. Maybe one day they can get it right I'm tired of spending 45 minutes to an hour there just to get a clean car. Today my daughter took the car and was treated rude after she sent the car back and then told them again the floors still have spots on them. We have a 2017 Kia Sedona it's a nice car but I doubt they will get a chance after this card runs out. This car wash has a great in and out service. I enjoy stopping into Autobell to see the friendly faces and to leave with a squeaky clean vehicle. The only reason this isn't a five star review is because if you decide to get extra services or get your vehicle hand dried, it can be a mess trying to find a place to pull over post car wash to get service. It needs to be a little better organized but other than that, I would recommend this location. read more

All of the Yelp reviews on Autobell are three to six years old and in my estimation, invalid. I had my car washed there today and was very happy with the results, inside and out. They even cleaned the inside of the trunk and all four door jams. Total time, just fifteen minutes. read more

Got a exterior wash and by the time I got out my car was wet but waiting 10 mins for someone to get to it and dry it off- it was dried off by the sun. Asked for 3 dollars back but then I was sent back and forth to many employees. If I wasn't using a gift card, I wouldn't take my car here on my own dime. It's a no go at this location. read more

I opted for the all out package. I watched them vacuum and shampoo the car. When I got back in the car and started driving the windows were still dirty. Not water spot dirty but dirt and smears on them dirty. The car also smells like it really old even it is only a 2009. read more

I have not been back as yet; however, I'm updating because Andi Watkins and the manager called both called me and apologized for the bad job I got at the car wash. I appreciate this kind of response. They also offered me a free car wash, which I intend to do when I get a chance. I didn't realize until today when I looked at my M/C statement that they had given me a credit for the car wash also. Absolute waste of time and money and a GARBAGE JOB!!!! Could not even tell anything was done to my truck. Dirt spots everywhere on the body! Tires look like s**t Windows the same. They didn't even bother to lift floor mats when doing the vacuum job!! And my interior wasn't that bad so i could easily tell that those clowns didn't even bother!! Nothing more than a joke!!! It's a get you in, and get you out as fast as possible and basically rob you of the services you paid for. It is absolutely unacceptable!! I took it as a $16.00 lesson to NEVER go back to that insufficent, po-dunk, glorified car wash EVER AGAIN!! I ordered the Manager's Special for $29.99 today at approximately 4:30pm and I was ticket #8734. As a first time user of Autobell, I am extremely disappointed with the service I received today. I just purchased a Honda Fit and decided I would like to have it cleaned very nicely. Today was in the high 90's and I watched as the young man cleaned my car. After he was finished I tipped him with a $20 bill much for the sake that he had endured the heat to clean my car. So a total of $49.99 spent during this visit. After getting home and doing a walk around I noticed many scratches in the paint on every side of my vehicle. I thought nothing of it at the time but when the young man from Autobell dropped his drying towel on the asphalt, I'm now sure it had picked up grit from the asphalt and then proceeded to scratch my vehicle as he towel dried it with the same towel he had dropped on asphalt. This has proven to be a much more costly experience, as I will now have to have the scratches repaired. It has also been a lesson for me to perform my own cleaning services on my vehicles, to avoid mistakes and poor attention to detail. This was my first and absolutely last time using Autobell. I do not recommend this place to anyone who values their vehicles and does not wish for them to be damaged. Was my car clean? Yes, in fact, I was happy with how well it had been cleaned but I now have a clean car with no less than 10 scratches from my visit today. Sincerely, Extremely Disappointed read more
