worst customer service I've ever experienced!Would never recommend to anyone. My 1 week repair turned into 3 weeks . Received several text messages saying my vehicle was being serviced and on time for scheduled return home, only to get a call less than 24 hours of scheduled return to say they needed another week. This happened twice. The third time my scheduled pick up day came around I called the the morning of to see when a good time to pick my vehicle up would be I was told my estimator would call me back shortly. I never heard from him at 12:30. I called a second time to see when I should pick up my vehicle, only to be sent to my estimators voicemail and treated like I was inconveniencing them and been problematic for wanting to know when I should come pick up my vehicle. They then put me on hold for over 20 minutes when she came back to the phone she told me my vehicle would not be ready until Monday. Because it still need it to be washed. This was Friday at 1 o'clock and then showed up at their office to find my vehicle still not completed. The repairs I went in for look great. I am very pleased with their work and the time (2 weeks) it took to fix. But what impressed me the most was Rod (Rob?) and team noticing an issue that the previous body shop missed after an accident that happened a couple years ago. They took the initiative to contact my insurance company to see if it could still be covered. To my pleasant surprise, when I picked up my car I had a brand new headlight cover (the old one was cracked, resulting in condensation build up). I admit I'd been dragging my feet on going back to the old body shop to address that issue. Knowing it's now taken care of is a load off my shoulders! Thanks Rod and team! I decided to use Autobody USA Westside based on reviews and family having a great experience with them. Our vehicle was brought to Autobody USA on 7/9 for an evaluation, and we were quoted with an anticipated completion date of 7/25 by Gary. Unfortunately, following that initial quote, updates were vague and only received if I called multiple times and got Gary directly. On 7/24 I called to ensure that my vehicle would be ready on 7/25, and I was notified that it should be ready by 7/31. On 7/30 I called again to confirm that my vehicle would be ready for pickup, and was again told that the deadline would be pushed back to 8/6. On 8/5 I called to confirm that my vehicle would be ready for pickup, and I was informed that Gary no longer worked at this location and was directed to Eric. Eric was very professional and apologetic, and let me know that there is no excuse for these delays, and that the new completion date of 8/9 to complete additional paint and alignment work. On 8/8, I called to confirm that the vehicle would be complete on 8/9, and Eric informed me that they still needed to order a part and install it, and the new anticipated completion date is now 8/16. Eric has been very professional since taking over for Gary; however, during this process, I have never been called to be updated about my car or the ever changing completion date, the estimate has doubled from 6k to 12k, I have exhausted my insurance's rental car coverage, and I still don't have my vehicle back a month later (and counting). read more

Had an accident after a freeze and snow along with many others here. When I had my car towed in and received a call with an estimated time of 2 weeks I fully understood as I saw the number of cars in the lot. Rented a car for two weeks and 10 days later I received a text saying my car was ready. Great news it was early! The only bad thing is that the text was sent a little too early, because I left work and when I arrived I did have to wait about 45 minutes. My car was beautiful and has driven perfect since. We took our 2015 Silverado in to have our tailgate repaired. The initial estimator, Mike, said that parts could be ordered and prepared and the work could be done in 1 day. When we were able to get it scheduled, we took it in and the new estimator, Chris had no knowledge of the information given to us by Mike. We were expected to leave our truck for an unknown number of days to have the parts ordered, prepared and replaced. That was worked out and we took our truck home. The parts were ordered, prepared and when the new tailgate was ready for install we returned to Autobody USA. They did the install within a couple hours. Upon our return, the tailgate looked good and the truck was clean. We opened the tailgate and it SLAMMED down. Our tailgate had been SOFT OPENING prior to the new install. We went into the office and told them that something is wrong. We complained and upon re-inspection of the tailgate Chrs, the estimator, tried to tell us that SOFT OPEN wasn't an option on our tailgate and that it was caused by corrosion. We told him that was not true. When he brought the manager back his only comment was "what do you want us to do about it?". His sarcasm and rude tone was not appreciated. We were told that "this is the proper part ordered by the VIN #" and because of this, the estimator and manager were not interested in correcting the issue. Upon further investigation on our own after returning home we found that from 2014 forward SOFT OPEN is STANDARD on the Silverado. Furthermore we consulted our origianl papers and it is stated that our Silverado has a SOFT OPEN tailgate. The tailgate has to be assembled in a specific way to engage the soft open mechanism. This wasn't done initially. Obviously the mechanic doesn't have a clue how to put the tailgate on to engage the SOFT OPEN mechanism. However when he put the tailgait on the second time after our converstions with Chris and the manager, the mechanic managed to engage the SOFT OPEN mechanism. So in the end....the tailgait is repaired and seems to be operating as it did originally. The quality of the finished tailgate itself was fine. But due to the terrible customer service we will not be returning to AUTOBODY USA. read more

The work they completed on my vehicle was great! The repairs and replacements were flawless. It looks brand new and perfect. I can not say anything bad about their work. However, the three stars comes into play with their customer service. The first being, as a small business owner myself, I rely on my vehicle to make a living and provide for my family. With that being known, I was told my vehicle would be in the shop for eight days to complete the necessary repairs. That was going to be eight long days of not having my work vehicle. I planned accordingly as much as possible. I pushed some work back and unfortunately, some of my work occurs with very little notice (due to the weather). I called Autobody USA on day 5 just to inquire about the status of my vehicle. I was told my vehicle was going in for paint that day. I was excited because that potentially meant my vehicle was almost done and could be returned to me earlier than expected. On day 7, I called again to check on the status of my vehicle. On that day, I was told again that my vehicle was going in for paint. That was the same story I received on day 5. Then we were told my vehicle would be done by the afternoon of day 8. That was acceptable because we had planned for 8 days, but I made it very clear that I needed my vehicle back on day 8 as I had work to complete. On day 8, I called back and they told me my truck wouldn't be done. I explained to them that I was losing thousands of dollars worth of work due to my vehicle being in the shop for that long. They replied with, "there's nothing we can do." Unacceptable and unprofessional answer for the situation!! There WAS something you could have done. You could have stuck to the agreement and made sure my vehicle was fixed, completed and returned to me by day 8. They explained that their painter had called in and that prevented them from completing my vehicle. They then went on to explain that there was 5 vehicles in front of mine. "Are you kidding me," was my thoughts! I asked them if I could pick my vehicle up so I could complete my work and that I would bring my truck back to them for paint. They advised that was impossible because my vehicle was disassembled and already primed for painting. Again, I'm literally missing out on thousands of dollars because of their problem with their employees and running behind on their own schedule. Finally, on day 10 at 3pm, they advised my vehicle was done. Then when I go to pick it up, their final price for the completed work is hundreds of dollars above their original estimate even knowing they failed to adhere to their own completion schedule. And then to top it off, after watching me write a check at their front counter, they advise me that they don't accept personal checks. Thanks for standing there watching me waste a check that you knew you wouldn't accept. Thankfully, I had my wallet with me with another form of payment. But, come on!!!!! Needless to say, I hope I never have an incident requiring repairs again, but if I do, I will do my best to work with my insurance company to avoid this place as much as possible due to their poor customer service and practices. I hope this isn't their normal practices and that I just had a bad experience, but I'm irritated and disappointed with them to the point that I don't ever want to go back. read more

Had minor auto body work done. The paint job was ok but the trim work was sloppy and there was overspray on my rim. I can understand mistakes. My frustration came when I discovered they put over 80 miles on my car seemingly running errands to other shops. I asked to speak with someone in corporate and no one called. WORST BODY SHOP AROUND. We were involved in a collision where two cars t-boned and one car slid into the front of ours...car was in their shop for better than 3 months, multiple attempts to pick it up. Each time we showed up, we found various things wrong with workmanship and resulted in the car being left there. Angelo continued to reassure us that they would fix the issues and he had looked it over and he could not see anything wrong with it, but ultimately we chose to remove the vehicle from Auto body USA and bring it to another shop to have there poor workmanship corrected. If you like not having your vehicle or if you enjoy being lied to about their negligent shoddy workmanship...... This is the place for you. Hopefully Progressive will find a better "preferred shop" but for now good luck you will need it read more

I wish I could write a review with less than one star. Where to start? The bill read that the repair was supposed to take 9 days. They didn't have a part in that they needed, and I understand waiting for that. I called a week in, they still didn't have it. I called the week after, and they got the part in. Then, they sat on the car for three weeks without doing ANY work to it WHAT-SO-EVER. I had to physically appear SEVERAL times to get them to bring the car from the lot into the shop. Which by the way, the internals of my car were left open to the elements on MULTIPLE occasions while on their lot due to a broken door (which I understand was difficult to see,) but they also left it out after they took my window out. Oh, yeah, and it was raining when I came by to see it that time. Good job. The Tech that was assigned to my car originally was on vacation for the first few days of the repair, so it never even got LOOKED at in that time. The main tech then went on vacation towards the end of the repair. By this point, they had my car for OVER A MONTH. When I went in the following Monday to make sure that someone was still doing work on it, guess what? IT WAS BACK IN THE LOT! In total, they had my car for over 40 days. The concession that was offered to me was that they would fix my windshield "at cost." Which means "more than it would cost me somewhere else." They STILL owe me a part, and have not been in contact with me about it at all. I'm guessing I'm going to have to call them once a week until they do what they need to. Furthermore, they broke the remote wire that goes back to my amplifier. So it looks like I have to miss some more work to get them to fix their shitty job. To be fair, the body work looks good so far. I haven't given the paint enough time to see if it's going to be an issue, and I really hope it won't be. The main problem I have here is that I feel like they are courteous and nice on the outside, but don't really care about following up their words with action. read more

Terrible. Never give your business to them!!! It was recommended by my insurance company, but it was horrible mistake. My car was towed in on a Friday afternoon. They didnt even start to look at it until the following Tuesday. It took over two weeks for an estimate, which changed from 4000 to 5000 to 6000 and ended over 8000. It took over a month to get my car back after they said it would only be two weeks. A couple months later when I used my A/C and that is not working. Turns out they "missed that" during thier repairs. Trying to arrange a time for them to look at my A/C was a nightmare. The only mechanic that could look at my car happened to only be working from 9am to 11am and 1 pm to 3pm which was a nightmare to schedule. During this same issue I was told to meet my estimator at 8 am. Knowing he was going to be late, like every other time I dealth with this company, I showed up at 820. He did not show up until 9!!! Taking time out of my work day and where I had to arrange a ride which was sacrificing a friends work day too. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY BUSINESS!!! read more

My brand-new Ford Escape was wrecked by a drunk driver while I was waiting at a stoplight. I was the guy in the middle, so the damage was extensive. To make things even more complicated, the car was so new that parts and tech drawings were hard to come by, causing the repair to take longer than anticipated. John was conscientious about keeping me in the loop, though, calling me with progress updates, sometimes even twice a week. Today, the car looks great, and it purrs like a kitten. Quality of work was execellent. Customer service needs a facelift. I recieved a defective part and didnt notice it until I needed it. When I approached Auto Body about this it turned into a 3 way dance between the factory, dealship that had the part and me. This issue happened last June and I had to wait all this time to get the right part because Autobody needed to make sure "they got paid". I was in business for a good many years and you just don't do that to a customer. Due to the bad experience I will never do business with Autobody and have reported this to my Insurance Agency to prevent future garbage like this. read more
