The car was rear ended and the car was fixed, but the muffler wasn't changed because State Farm insurance didn't want to pay for a new muffler so we emailed autocraft to take care of this problem and the company escalated it to the insurance and took care of the job. We are so grateful to have a driving experience that is the same as before the crash. Autocraft will also go an extra mile to fix the car after a year for any parts or defects when it comes to the car. We had the back lift gate trunk not working and we came the same day and they took 1 hour after business hours to diagnose and fix our issue. Jason the owner of Autocraft is friends with my dad. I sent my car to Jason figuring I can trust him with the repairs from a car crash. After receiving the car back the rims were still completely messed up. Very poor quality of work. A couple months later now I am finding even more wrong with my vehicle that was never fixed like a broken window that sounds awful when you roll it down. Jason wants me drop it off again even though they had it for over a month. This is going to be one of those "if I can give 0 stars I would" type reviews but hear me out!! Firstly I would like to say, this place was recommended to me by a coworker. He said his buddy Jason owns a shop. He has like a suped up Toyota Sienna and a mustang. The dude has a passion for cars. Awesome!! I'm a car guy too!! I check out the website and it says they do custom panting which is a plus. You see my car if recently had a truck spill debris and rubble all over it on the 605 freeway. Insurance gave me a quote and let me pick a place to bring it. Jason said that the quote wasn't enough so they went to discuss more with the insurance. He convinced them to give a lot more and said if I needed some extra stuff done he'd help me out. AWesome again!! Jason was going to have my entire car repainted *except the back* and I had some requests. Since he was repainting the car entirely I asked if he can paint the roof black and my front fenders half black half blue. The car in general was going to get the front repainted and windows replaced because of rock chips. After getting the car back after a few long weeks it looked great. I was happy and had a new car again. That is until I noticed the hood slightly open when I got home. What the heck? I opened it and noticed they didn't bolt in the top part of the bumper. It had a plastic gasket that goes above the bumper that holds the screws in. This thing was just sitting there rattling around. This was strike one but I let it fly because sht happens and we're human. Few days go by and I notice the antenna fin on the roof starts to warp and the paint bubbles. I bring it in because they have a warranty on the paint, they have me leave the car over and they redo it no questions ask. Fast forward a week later and I've already brought my car back to get it repainted 2x. At this point Jason is fuming and tells me this wasn't even part of the original quote and it was just something he did for me. I also tell him they didn't install my bumper properly and he brushes it off. My windshield was never replaced and my side mirrors still has rock chips. He tells me he's done too much for me and he can't doing more for free. And I ask about the warranty which he says I dont have it because all the repainting was extra stuff he does for me. At the end of a long argument, I'm tired of bringing my only car back, I have a job I need to go, he has me sign some paperwork getting a few hundreds dollars back but literally stripped my warranty and he's done helping me replace issues I find. The pictures are of his paint job. Was told by other shops it was poor prep work. Also they didn't even remove the antenna to get a full paint job. An updated review for 2022; Autocraft is still taking care of me with excellent service. Recently I collided with a loose tire on the poorly maintained 605 freeway and there was some damage to the lower portion of my front bumper. What I had initially thought to be a few hundred dollars worth of damage, Jason was able to discern that the frame was just out of place and popped it back into place with my bumper, no tabs were broken so he was able to fix my front bumper in about 5 minutes when I had just called him about an hour prior. I dont know what CatKing L is talking about, I left a "normal" amount of stuff in my car and my trunk and they did not take anything at all. Went in for a body job, they charged less than half of what some of the other 4-5star places on yelp did. Also, they wash your car and cleaned the inside for you, if anything , they found things for me that I did not realize were still there for months! I'd recommend anyone to come here, Jason is nice and down to earth and plus he looks like my tech professor LOL I was able to pick up my car in just three days whereas some other shops quoted me over twice the amount of money and 2weeks! This place fixed my car twice. Once to fix the dents from all the minor accidents I got into during my first 3 years of driving stick shift and a second time to fix a dent that wasn't my fault at all. Both times my car came out looking like new. This review is for the second time since the first time I had done business with them through my mechanic. The guy that gave me an estimate for my Mini Cooper was nice. I drove in during a lunch break so I was limited on time. I gave him my keys, he quickly looked at my car while I waited in the lobby, and then told me he'd email me the quote so that I can be on my way. Like promised I received an email from him a few hours later with the electronic document of the quote. It was $1300+ to fix a dent on the side of my Cooper. Other people have said that their prices are good. A friend that drives a Honda was surprised to hear that fixing my car would cost that much. I was too lazy to go to another body shop to get an estimate since the person that hit my car was paying it forward to fix the damage. So I have no comment on price. Me and the estimate guy exchanged emails and he told me I could bring it in anytime to which I never replied and decided I'd bring it in when the semester was over. 3 months later I replied to the email planning to bring it in and he points out that the email conversation had been prolonged but still says I can bring it in anytime before 6 PM. I brought it in that same day of emailing him after 3 months, handed over my keys, and they told me it'd be finish in about 10 days by next weekend. I'm used to reported advanced time frames from businesses and expected 10 days to actually mean 15 days. I was wrong because 9 days later I get a call and it's done! Nice. I wasn't there to pick my car up once it was finished, my mom had actually picked it up since she was there when I dropped the car off. But she wasn't there when I got the estimate and the man who gave me the estimate was a different man from the one we'd dropped the car off to so the estimate man gave her a hard time since he had never met her, which I appreciate. It wasn't until she spoke to the other man that we'd dropped the car off to that they let her drive off with my car. My car is looking like new once again for the third time. read more

After my car got smacked from behind, I was advised by my uncle (yes, he's my go to for all my car concerns). --He's also a paralegal, specializing in auto accidents, so the fact that he directed me here says a lot. They scheduled me to come in at 8:30AM, and they were open that early on a Monday AM. --Perfect and convenient because I prefer to not take care of these errands in the middle of the day. I specifically advised that I'd need a rental. They took care of that as well. You won't find greasy tables and finger prints all over the place as with many auto shops. They have a very clean waiting room with a wide range of Import Fashion Magazines which I can appreciate. My rental car was ready waiting for me by the time I filled out my paper work.
