Gather all your paperwork that's related to your car and go ask for Steve (Tell them Ray/Jack sent you) and he'll handle the rest of all the BS. No... he's not interested in making a side-cut outta your situation/car. If you want your car to be reported as totaled, talk to him, if you want him to repair it to the best of their capabilities, talk to him. One thing for sure is that Steve wouldn't settle for less. He took care of my 2019 BMW 330i that had its front bumper shredded by a 4X4 metal rod on the fast lane. He wouldn't stop pursuing until he got the original OEM front bumper replacement. SFarm was hoping I/Steve would accept a salvaged front bumper from the junkyard. Needless to say, Steve simply told them be better. However this did happen before COVID-19 decided to enter our society. Nowadays all I can recommend is be patient with Steve and his team. Let them work. The pandemic done turned the world upside-down so replacement parts are scarce and harder to come by, workers are exhausted, the tedious process of filing and completing paperwork/contracts are strained. read more

I will preface this review by saying I drive a modified wrx and am pretty anal about a lot of random car stuff. I took my car here to repaint my trunk and rear bumper. Also a sti limited trunk lip paint and install. Tommy walked me through the whole process of my car taking pictures of the parts dismounted all the way to the finished product. Fast and easy communication showing me my car is in good hands. Quality paint job can't even tell it was resprayed. Tommy is a stand up dude and is willing to help you as if you were one of his close homies. When all was said and done I went to pay and was small talking with Steve. Steve is a funny guy cracking jokes and talking about his Mugene'd out garage queen. It's just good to go to a shop and know all the people working there are serious car heads and not just there for the pay check. Latest update: Same great experience with more parts. Ordered an OEM STI bumper through TL. Had them paint and install/cut to fit with my Cusco power brace alongside installing new bumper side splitters, new front lip, JDM fog lights, and new crash beam. What can I say? The owner Steve is a storyteller - every time I come to the shop to check the status of my car, he always has something interesting to talk about - sometimes he talks about ins and outs of insurance company, sometimes he gives a step-by-step walk-through and go over each part listed on the adjuster's estimate sheet. Again, Steve runs his business with integrity and he does NOT hide things from his customers. [Background] Unfortunately I got into a car accident back in March 2017, but luckily I was able to tell my AAA tow truck to drop off my car at TL Autobody because the shop actually closed pretty late on Saturday. [Process] * I got an estimate on the following Monday and visited Steve few days later to discuss the estimate. Steve took his time and go over each item listed on the estimate. * Originally the estimate amount of time to fix the car was 1.5 ~ 2 weeks, but it was extended to 3 weeks instead. Since Steve is always busy and doesn't necessary has time to respond to my emails, I just visited once a week to check the status of my car. Steve is a very patient person - he explained and gave me detailed status updates on all of my visits. Personally I didn't care too much about the one week delay because 1) I was able to save some money with Steve and 2) I was VERY satisfy with the final work product. * After my car was ready to pick up, Steve personally went over each coating job and explained it very thoroughly. Steve didn't want me to pay the total repair amount (in this case I told the insurance company to send the reimbursed check directly to me) unless I was completely satisfied. During the final checkup, Steve noticed the missing hubcap, immediately ordered an OEM part, and popped the new hubcap back in one week later. * About a week after I picked up my car, one of my friends noticed the missing radio antenna and one of Steve's assistants apologized, immediately ordered the radio antenna part, and installed it back without any questions asked. [Conclusion] Steve does his business by word of mouth and I will recommend this autobody to my friends and coworkers in the SGV (San Gabriel Valley) area. read more

The hardtop included an at times fussy security lock assembly, which took extra diligence and adaptive measures. Let's start by saying that I have a modified IS300...and I am very particular about who touches & works on my car. One random day, I wasn't paying attention and made the terrible mistake of reversing my lowered IS300 too far into a parking space in a parking lot. Fortunately, while reversing into the parking spot, my rear bumper and rear lip cleared the giant concrete block that was at the end of the parking spot. Unfortunately, as I drove forward to leave, I heard a sickening crunch and crack! Snap, crackle, pop! My rear lip on my rear bumper had caught on the concrete block as I drove forward in my car! =( I got out and inspected the damage, and the right side of my rear bumper had completely ripped off of my right rear fender panel. Most of my rear bumper tabs were broken on the right side of my bumper! It was an especially sad day...until I met with Steve at TL Autobody! Steve took one look at my bumper damage (tabs broken, bumper sagging), and knew right away that the tabs had to be fixed. He quoted me a very reasonable price, and told me to bring it back to the shop the next day. I dropped off my car with Steve the next day, and he spent the day working on it. Being that most of my bumper tabs were broken, Steve found some super creative ways to fabricate new bumper tabs for me! Steve even used his creativity to create a metal bracket for one of the main bumper tabs that broke off! For those of you who own an IS300, you all know how difficult it is to get the IS300 rear bumper to align correctly with the body lines of the rear fender panels. Steve and his team went above and beyond and spent a LONG time on my rear bumper until all of the broken tabs were either repaired or re-fabricated so that my bumper would mount securely and align correctly back onto my car. Steve literally worked on my car until 9pm on a Monday night! That's some super customer service right there! Overall, my rear bumper's alignment looks like new again, straight from the factory floor! 10/10 - would stop by TL Autobody again! read more

They recently painted my FRS (2017+ front bumper) front bumper and I had them shave the oval for the emblem up front. The shaving came out perfect. You can't even tell it was there.
