I took my car here for the first time because the quote I got from the dealership for a bumper repair was just ridiculous and I was looking for a place where the techs knew how to deal with German cars. First off, this place is so clean and neat, it's just spotless. The people working here are all very polite and nice (I spoke to Ricardo, Constanza and Luis) and they are all very pleasant and friendly. They kept their promise of repairing and not replacing the bumper although after opening the bumper they found out that replacing it would be a lot easier and more sensible than repair, but they kept their promise and repaired it. The end result just looked fabulous. It's certainly not a cheap place but their prices are a lot better than the dealership for the same or maybe even better quality of work. I have had one experience here and the experience was a five star one, and I will definitely go back if I am in the area and need a car service. read more

I had recently purchased a 2011 Escalade ESV. From the reviews online, it seemed like their shop could work wonders on vehicles. I needed swirl scratches removed and the interior cleaned because the previous owner apparently smoked in the vehicle. I met with Ricardo and he took a few pics. He said that Luis (owner) would get back to me the next day. The next day came and went -- nothing. I called and spoke with Ricardo who then promised me a quote. Still nothing. One week passes and I finally PM the owner. It turns out the owner was out of country on vacation. I wish Ricardo would have just said so. People don't know how to manage expectations. Luis was more cordial, told me that they don't really specialize in "old" cars and said they would charge like $1000+ to do it (which seemed ludicrous). Anyway, he referred me to Shine Mobile Auto that apparently details all of their vehicles. Unfortunately, I had mixed results with their detailer, which I'll cover in a separate post. At the end of the day, I wasn't terribly impressed with how they run their business and their referral didn't keep his promises, so I can't say that I had a positive experience. read more

Wow. What a place. You would never know it was an exotic car dealer and mechanic as it is tucked away in a housing area or so it looks. I was surprised when Porsche in Houston said they did not do PPI but they sent me to them. They were incredibly nice and took good care of me without an appointment. So here I am again finding myself writing another review of work performed by Autodynamica ! To be honest I have not written so many reviews in such a short period of time ! Again Luis and his team installed my coil-overs and managed to figure out the suspension setting on my 911 ,Trust me theres no one else in Houston who is doing this this better ,and it makes you feel kinda of special for a shop as good as this working on your car when as Lamborghinis and Ferraris ! Also the prices are not as high as you would imagine! One important thing is that Luis Is honest Once you get to know him and he trusts you it feels a bit like a partnership! It's rare that you find this In this day and age ! some of the reviews I've seen are just nit picking ,Ask yourself the question ,who would reply to every negative comment in the way that Luis does with a genuine positive attitude! i've never seen this before not in Europe or anywhere else! I too rarely review, but I agree with Dave, these guys are top notch. Extremely easy to deal with, professional, and get transactions done quickly. If you have respect for detail and good service, this shop is great. I have an Audi RS7 that they added a GIAC tune that they will flash off (small fee) when I want to take it into Audi for service. Then they flash it right back. Always prompt, nice, and courteous. When I first got it installed, Luis showed me all around the shop and talked about different projects and products while I waited too. Those kind of things go a long way in my preference of shops. read more

Do you remember what it was like as a child, going to the department store with your folks, at XMAS time.. Lights, music, wonderful displays of toys and games. What a thrill to experience the joys and the magic of the holiday's, as a kid. . Such was my experience visiting Autodynamica, yesterday, for performance upgrages to my 991s. Luis recommended specific ways to squeeze out better performance by replacing stock, restrictive, Porsche Cats with the highly regarded AWE Tuning Hi Flow Cats and installing a GIAC performance software tuning download. Another mod next week will increase air intake, which will further boost HP and torque. My 991s will fly like a Turbo without the Turbo price tag!!! The trip home from The Woodlands to the inner loop was very similar to the childhood experience, of the holiday's. My 991s growled as I sped South, down the Hardy Toll Rd, expecting to be pulled over by the police! Expect, a beautiful workshop with a highly professional staff, busy working on hi-end sports cars. From Porsche to Lami's, Audi's and Maserati's, Autodynamica is entrusted with the finest automobiles to be found. Luis, will recommend quality, choice parts to meet your needs at a price I found appropriate for the job.
