Horrible experience and customer service!!! I had a bad misfire on my car and was in American canyon on my drive back to San Jose CA. It was Sunday afternoon and there was no mechanics open except auto fix in the mile radius. I went there and was rudely told they can't help and looked me up and down like I was not allowed there. Bald Philippine guy said go to auto zone down the street. I do not recommend this place whatsoever. read more

Finally got in!!! Whew, I'm feeling all "Rocky I" here now! DaDaDah, Da Da Ok, nuff said here. (Straighten Up There, Kids)! It was almost surreal, after trying for so long to find that "magic door" thats needed to get in, lol. The reason for my distress was the possibility of needing to having my car towed to a faraway, unknown mechanic, and being held up there. Since they're "it" as far as auto repair goes in American Canyon, and within driving range, if your vehicle can still be driven a few blocks. So we'll still be begging in the streets for them to install that new tranny! The owner seems like a nice guy, he got my Jeep working better than it ever had before ;~} Now I can write a "real review", and say, "Yeah thats right, I've "BEEN THERE".... read more

I'm so happy to support locally own businesses Autofix was above my expectations I've driven by in the past, and they are always busy. As a 1st time customer, I went in on a friday just afternoon without an appt. I found 3 employees, one being the owner in the office, apparently on a lunch break (later to find out they were waiting on part for another customer. My car needed a roof rack & cross bars installed. I had all the parts but not the tools or know how to do myself. Marlowe (the owner) took a look @ my car & parts. Gave me an estimate of $70. Then him & another of his employee worked on my car for an hour while waiting I noticed his rates are $140 an hour. After the job was done, a was presented w/ a bill of only $70! Honest auto shop around here. They will not up sell you on shit you don't need. They will let you know what is wrong with your car straight up no bull. Both mechanics are well seasoned veterans that worked at various dealerships and acquired skills and experience. I'd recommend this place to family friends and anyone that needs their vehicle serviced. They're not cheap but they are reasonable compared to other independent shops and did I mention excellent workmanship and very professional. You get what you pay for go to a shitty shop you going to get shitty work done to your car go to these guys they'll make sure you're up and running and well worth every penny you spend on repairs or any services done to your vehicle. read more

Very impressive people at this business. Came in on an emergency basis after hitting some road debris on our way out to see the wineries of Napa Valley. I told them what had happened and they jumped right on the job and got the car fixed up so we could continue our trip with only a minor delay. Their price to fix the car up was shockingly reasonable. Came here from an AWFUL experience from Pepboys. I got an oil change over there and by the time they were finished had told me I had $1k+ worth of repairs that were urgent and needed to be done. They honestly made it seem like my car was on the verge of breaking down. I left an honest review over on their Yelp page. I'm just here to say that my dad's been going here for awhile and it was my first time going to AutoFix today. Wow! Such awesome service. He was completely honest and works super quick, He ended up telling me the truth about my car and even brought to my attention what the real problem was. Instead of spending $1k on useless stuff that didn't need to be replaced he fixed only what needed to be fixed and showed me what I needed to look out for in the future with my car. I have a full honda service history on my touring odyssey not until recently when the maintenance minder lit up that I have to take it to the nearest honda service center for some minor job e.g. oil change etc. Next thing I know when I was told my odyssey's front brake rotors and pads needs to be replaced for signs of warping. I said "OK" but for how much? And they gave me a quick quote to a whooping $650.00...I sought second opinion at this local auto mechanic shop upon the recommendation of a friend and he basically agreed that warping on my van's rotors are pretty much imminent. I ask him for a quick quote and to my surprise it is 55% less than that of the dealership. So I had it done and in no time I hit the road 100% satisfied. He replaced it with OEM honda parts much much less than that of the dealership. And another good deal about this is that he gave me a one year warranty on the parts he replaced of which most of these service centers won't tell you. This dude "MAR" for short is awesome. He knows his craft. I am going to have him service all my vehicles from now on. Two thumbs up for him because this is as good as it gets!!!! read more
