Ordered a fuel line, put it on and 2 days later it bursts and leaves me stranded on the highway bridge. Ordered an OVP relay and it didn't work. These guys sell garbage/fake parts and I now just buy used Mercedes Benz OEM parts on Ebay and car-parts.com and the used parts are 100% better than these Chinese knock offs. You've been warned. I ordered a genuine Porsche coolant tank ($483 including tax) from AutohausAZ. They sent me a cheap aftermarket tank instead. Their website suggests filling out a customer service request form online rather than calling them. Good luck even finding their phone number, which apparently they man for just a few hours Monday thru Friday. I filled out their online form multiple times before anyone ever acknowledged my inquiries. They emailed me a label to return the tank and I dropped it off at FedEx.. Two weeks later still no acknowledgement of any kind from AutohausAZ despite getting a delivery notice from FedEx. I again filled out their online "Customer Service" form and again got no response after multiple attempts. Today I finally got through on the phone and the agent insisted that the tank I received was a Genuine Porsche tank. It definitely wasn't a Porsche tank - no mention of Porsche on any packaging, no Porsche part number found anywhere, and it came with a cheap black cap. My local Porsche dealership parts guy confirmed it wasn't Genuine Porsche. The customer service agent insisted that was Genuine Porsche but I must be confused because they have changed their manufacturing. That was it for me. I demanded a refund and he said it would take about a week to process. I told him I was going to file a complaint with PayPal and hung up. I guess that got to him because when I went into my PayPal account it had just been refunded. So now my car has been sitting for two weeks due to Autohaus' incompetence and I have to order the tank from somewhere else. read more

I paid for standard shipping and expected to get it in a couple days but they sent it priority mail instead. I have always been impressed with their quick response and quality of parts. I called customer service as I was sent the wrong part. The agent spent more time blaming me for the mistake than helping to make it right. He claimed I marked 2002, rather than 1998, (?), (from 98 to 02 the part is interchangeable). Then he claimed the Autohaus web page, (and part), I'm looking at as we are speaking did not exist! When I asked him his name he hung up on me. Then I call the 800 number... Waited an hour, then it hung up on me. Needless to say I won't be back and I'm stuck with a part that is not even close to what I need and was way to expensive for what it was. read more

Terrible company. I ordered a rear passenger tail light replacement kit and two light bulbs. I paid $34.00 for two day shipping. Standard shipping is free. The light bulbs were shipped in time, but the replacement kit was shipped five days later. They would not offer a refund, even though they made the mistake by shipping parts separately. Autohausz simply has terrible or non-existent customer service. I ordered shocks that showed "in stock" with free shipping. I ordered them. I called a week later to find out where they were. I had to stay on hold forever before someone "live" came on the line. I was told an outer warehouse was having difficulties. Another week passes no shocks. I email their "contact us" on their web page. I never got a response. After 2.5 weeks, the shocks finally arrived. I also experienced long wait times on hold when I tried to verify if a part was in stock or how many they had before the shock incident. Their antiquated website doesn't show this information. There's far too many other business out there that demonstrate excellent customer service to put up with these guys.. read more

I ordered my rotors and new screws from them. I received my rotors within 3 days. I booked with my local mechanic the next day to get my rotors replaced to find out the screws were still missing. Found out the new screws will get to me 3 days later. Luckily my mechanic had new screws there to still get the job done. I asked autohaus for a refund for the screws but they told me I need to pay the shipping. It wasn't worth to return so I asked for a discount, which they didn't honor. From 2011 to early 2014, my experience with Autohaus AZ was flawless. I would go out of my way to tell friends and family how great this place was. Then I had this issue: I'd like to start with saying that I have been an autohausaz customer for 3 1/2 years and have been so impressed with your company that I have sung your praises to all my friends and family. That being said I am extremely disappointed in my last order. I placed the order on 8/28 and was hoping to receive it by 9/2. Your shipping has always been very quick. I received an email stating that the motorcraft air filters I ordered were on backorder with no eta. I didn't want to sub another brand because I try to use OEM whenever possible. I was told the filters would be refunded and everything else would still ship Friday. Then I get another email stating that my order was delayed because of a warehouse issue and would not ship until Tuesday, 9/2. I asked if it was a separate delay from the motorcraft air filters and was told it was not. Hmm.... I did receive my shipment today and noticed that the Mann MA1198 air filter had been swapped with Purolator A35592. According to your website this filter is $7 and change but I was still charged the $8.69 for the Mann filter. I'm not really concerned about the $1 difference, but more the disappointing out-of-stock issue and then the switcharoo on the Mann filter. I have always used the Mann air filter for my wife's Subaru. I must say that where autohausaz has been my "go to" place for all maintenance parts in the past, in the future, I'll be compelled to shop around. That was an email I sent to them 09/15/04. No response....After 2 years, I was having trouble finding front wiper blades for my wife's 2006 Subaru Tribeca. The design was changed on newer Tribecas to a more universal one. It's almost impossible to find wipers outside of going to the dealership for the 2006 model. Searched autohausaz and found them!! Received Friday and attempted to install Saturday. Nope....Called the 1800 number, it's not working (can't be completed as dialed). Called the local number and after holding for more than 10 minutes (phones keep track), I told that I will receive an email with the return postage and my money will be refunded once they receive the wipers. While I understand they want their parts back, I want my wasted time back from dealing with their inadequacies [Inaccurate info under parts for 2006 Subaru Tribeca, don't bother to respond to customers' emails (look at all the others reviews), poor customer service, etc.] Too many other competitors to waste more time with this rapidly declining business. I live locally so I picked will call to pick up parts in person. I went to pick them up and the guy had such a bad attitude. I told him I was here to pick up my parts, he said "this is a will call center, we will contact you when your parts are here". I told him "I'm in the auto business, I know how will call works". He said he didn't have the parts, they were coming from Cali. I asked him to cancel my order, I will get them at another local parts store. They ship slowly despite paying for expedited shipping. They won't answer the phone without a 10 to 20 minute hold. They sent a substandard non-fitting part and were reluctant to take it back and I have to pay the shipping. They have gone downhill in a hurry. read more

Avoid this place at all cost! They sent me the wrong alternator for my BMW 325i even after I called them and a guy assured me that I've ordered the right part. When I tried to call them and rectify the problem it took about 30 mins for someone to actually field my call. After explaining what happened the guy finally accepted my return but wanted me to pay for the return shipping cost. When I asked to speak with a manager I was placed on hold for another 15 mins and the call was conveniently dropped. I then, attempted to call back but was placed on cue forever. I finally gave up and just paid for the return shipping which cost me 25 bucks. To add insult to the injury, these clowns had the nerve to charge me for the original shipping which was supposed to be free to begin with. I had been using AutohausAZ for over 10 years. The last three orders I have made with them, I received the wrong part (one time they mailed me the wrong part, the other two times they said it would fit the vehicle and it did not). To obtain a refund each time I had to pay to ship it back to them. The third time, in addition to having to pay for shipping, they charged me a restocking fee of 35%. Unacceptable practices. When I complained, I received a call back with excuses that they did not know it was there error. They may have good prices, BUT BEWARE, you may not get the right part and then YOU WILL PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKES. There are plenty of other better companies out there. read more

Paid extra for 2 day shipping got the part in 6 days. Customer service rep basic told me "sorry" and refused to refund even the shipping cost difference between 2 day and regular shipping. These guys may have some hard to find parts (on occasion), but the customer return process SUCKS!!! I ordered a part for my 2001 Jetta TDI - upper radiator hose simple - right? This was after calling customer service to see if they just sold the ABS coupler that connects four separate hoses. No was the answer. Then I said OK - order the part I'm looking at on the web site. The C.S agent (Andre or Brad) then told me I was looking at the WRONG part. I needed "the correct part..." OK - didn't check the picture as they are supposed to know their product. Of course the different part was $12.00 dollars more - OK (it's they that know their parts) Get the hose and it has a temp sensor included - my original did not. Call and spoke to C.S. - Sorry but you need to send the part "WE ORDERED FOR YOU" so we can send the right part..., and "Oh by the way you need to pay for the correct part NOW?" What! Unbelievable. Placed an order for a simple item that they had in stock. Tried to pick up that part that I ordered 30 minutes prior to showing up and was told that it could take a "few hours" for the part to be pulled. I didn't know parts people had to go into the bowels of Narnia to grab something they have in stock. It's horribly inconvenient and this will be the last thing I ever order from them. When you need a part, the store has the part, it should be available for pickup within a reasonable amount of time (10-20 minutes). No wonder they don't score well on Yelp. read more

For the parts they have available, I have had great service from Autohausaz. Once there was a broken part, but they resolved that quickly with a replacement. Have used them probably 40 times for my BMW and Volvo. Since they are in Arizona, and parts have to be shipped, I do not expect delivery tomorrow or the next day. If I need that, I get it locally. read more

Believe it! I've been a loyal customer for over ten years and can no longer say I support this company. Not only did it take eleven days for my order to arrive, but we were shortchanged one very important tuneup component: a spark plug! The box holds four, but the partially ripped open box we received held three. Granted I swore and name called "Paul" form here to there, but "Paul" had no right to drop the F-Bomb repeatedly and curse me out before he hung up on me. All I wanted him to do was quickly put one spark plug in overnight mail and all would have been cured. "Paul" said he couldn't do it. Maybe after I talk to the owner and tell it like it is, the only cardboard box he'll handle will read: "Homeless and Hungry." read more

You will note that positive reviews of AutohausAZ date from 2015, and years prior to this. However, reviews for AutohausAZ for 2016 seem to have a common theme. Many are from long term, once-satisfied customers who are now disappointed by what has become of AutohausAZ. Add my experience to this growing list. For 10 years I was a very satisfield AutohausAZ customer. Writing this review is not something I ever thought I'd have to do. I must have turned on at least 10 people to buy their auto parts from AutohausAZ. There was alot of goodwill there. Whether these issues that now exist are due to management problems, or their poor customer service has to do with growing problems, staffing, too much customer volume -- whatever the case, that is for AutohausAZ to work out. In the past, even on those rare occasions where something went wrong with an order, AutohausAZ always fixed the problem. AutohausAZ have a great website. They create detailed order lists. They have knowledgeable staff and they pack orders really well. However, in early June, 2016 I ordered a list of parts. For the first time ever I had to wait on hold for 17 minutes before speaking with someone. I thought this was odd but said nothing. Then the person taking the order asked me how long I had waited? I found that to be strange as if he was saying there was something wrong. Turns out there was. Those parts shipped from AutohausAZ directly arrived on time and were well packed. However, the part that was drop-shipped from a 3rd party supplier was very poorly packed and arrived damaged. 2 months later, I neither had the replacement part, or a refund. I have invested approx. 30 hours dealing with this order. This is possibly the worst online retail experience I've ever had. I have written AutohausAZ more than 10 detailed emails. I have called AutohausAZ more than 15 times. I had to take the damaged item to UPS myself as they did not pick up. When I called I was on hold for more than 15 minutes, then the calls go to voicemail. These voicemails were not followed up. That is my most recent experience with AutohausAZ. What would you do? Ordered overflow hose for a 2003 BMW X5. I live in a rural area; the post office does not deliver to our house. Internet purchases have to be delivered via USP or FedX. The part that I ordered from AutohausAZ cost $32.42, shipping was $9.04. At checkout I selected UPS SurePost thinking I my package would be delivered UPS. About a week later I received an Email from AutohausAZ that the post office refused my package. I called AutohausAZ and left a message saying that I live on a mountain road, the post office does not deliver to my house. The next day I received an Email from AutohausAz saying that my order would be delivered to my house the following week. The following week I received another Email from AutohausAZ stating that my Return Authorization had been received (I never requested a return authorization) and the part I ordered was returned to AutohausAZ. The Email also said that a refund has been issued in the same manner as the original payment in the amount of$23.81. I called AutohausAZ for an explanation. The first person I spoke to did not know what to do and passed me on to a manager. A manager was soon on the line and I explain the situation to him, asking why I was being changed $17.65 ($41.46 - $23.81) for a part that I never saw. The manager said that the post office could not deliver the part and the part was returned to their warehouse. I told the manager that the post office does not deliver to my house and that is why I wanted the part shipped UPS. The manager said that I selected UPS Surepost for delivery. I explain to the manager that I saw on their menu, "UPS" and that is what I selected. I have never heard of UPS Surepost (Guess I have to spend more time at the post office to learn these things). OK, so I made mistake in not selecting the correct shipping method. Disappointing action on my part, but more disappointing was the manager's unwillingness to work with me on this. The manager could have said something like, "sorry that happened to you, and how I can make this right?" Instead kept saying over and over "you made the wrong selection sir, you made a wrong selection sir" Indeed I did. $17.65 is not a big deal, but I had to write this review because this was such a frustrating experience. As any BMW enthusiast knows, parts can be expensive, especially from the dealer. So, you have to shop around. When I found this part on the AutohausAz website, I was pretty sure I would use them in the future because of their pricing. Unfortunately, I dealt with a manager who represents a company that was more interested in winning an argument than satisfying a customer. read more
