I stumbled upon autohausaz about 2 years ago. Are you kidding me? This place has been a gold mine for me. Their prices are great and ordering is a snap. I was initially annoyed that I couldn't drive down and pick up the parts but I live in Scottsdale, and they arrive the very next day anyway. I once called because I couldn't find the part I needed. Good thing I did, they gave me the part number and price I added to my order and had it the next day. I urge you to compare the prices against others. I have never been disappointed. I order perhaps 6-10 times a year for our Porsche, BMW, Mini & Infiniti. I've read the negative posts and can only say that's a shame because I've had great experiences every time. As for the review that they sell cheap knockoff parts from China, I don't know that I have ever seen that on their website. They usually have multiple options and list which are OEM. If there's a concern I recommend calling them to verify the parts. I recommend autohausaz to all my friends. I hope they continue to serve me as in the past, they've really helped me. I don't give 5 stars because there's always room to improve but these guys for me are as close as can be to the fifth star. read more

Where I live the mechanic could not find a 195/65 tyre for my 1978 E30 BMW. I decide to call AutohausAZ, after browsing through their web and finding out they not sell tyres, for a kind recommendation where I can't find what I need it. I called and, after have to wait 10 min, I explained what I need; the answer was: We do not do recommendations, you can go to the internet and look for it. I tried to explain again with not success. That's what I called an unpleasant service with a rude person. This is the first contact with the company. This is my third experience. First one was good, on time and correct price. Second time, I send a request info by mail, never hear from them again. Just unpleasant company with a simple not friendly old style web that project what they are: Do not care about the client. Owner Stephan L. needs to spend less time responding to complaints on Yelp and more time fixing his online catalog. Ordered a simple blower motor for my VW, double checked everything was correct for my specific year/manufacturer/model/engine type and then placed my order. Like many customers posting on Yelp, Autohaus shipped the wrong part (meaning, the correct part I ordered but a part that isn't remotely compatible with my car). Had to run to the VW dealer to get the right OEM part. Since no one answers the phone at Autohaus anymore, I sent an email 4 DAYS ago to returns@autohausaz.com about the problem and am still waiting for them to get back to me about if they plan to cover my return shipping costs or not. Well Stephan, you're about to enjoy a VERY long talk in the near future with American Express because your refusal to resolve this issue or even communicate with one of their customers is a very clear violation of your American Express merchant agreement. If I can't count on your parts engine to match my car to the right part - and I can't count on your customer service to make the situation right - and I can't count on your company to honor your Amex merchant agreement, then you've lost my business. Close up shop if you're not serious about making happy customers. Follow up: After Stephan posted his public reply below, he private messaged me and opened with "Thank you for discrediting my life's work. I spend 15 hours a day doing this..." Really Stephan, not even a single apology?! For what I paid I believe I should have received a better refund. I clearly gave a full description of the vehicle it was needed for and it's bad enough I paid for service at the shop for it to turn out to end up being the incorrect part. The shipping is even worse because I picked two day shipping during the weekday, not the weekend and still waiting for my part to depart from the warehouse. To start: A few months ago I ordered some parts from them for a client, paid and got a confirmation of shipping, so I informed the client that they were on there way and according to AutohauseAZ the day they would arrive. But no I get another email stating there is a drop ship and that there is now a delay. My client was not in the best of moods to say the least. The now road trip the client was going on, now delayed and once the part had arrived and fitted, no more client. Everyone deserve a second chance, so, a starter motor is needed and even expedited shipping is payed to get it to me. After the arrival I get an email letting me know how to return the core on the $68.00 I was charged. The conditions in the email on how to return the core and what they expect it should be new, but you don't know this until the email comes later. The rules on the return looks like it has been taken out of the scam artist rule book, they have you over a barrel, it will be inspected to an extreme, the thing was fitted in 1988. It seems like they hold you to the wall, if they don't like the look of it you are not getting your core charge back, and you have also lost out on the shipping you had to pay for. Ordered a brake rebuild kit on a Sunday. Received an email with tracking number on Tuesday. A week later the tracking number still showed being processed. I called and they assured me that it did ship the week before but sometimes UPS tracking doesn't show that. Well, another week later, still no package. Even their website shows the package is being processed. No delivery takes 2 weeks. They couldn't even tell the truth on my call and admit that it had not shipped. Now I'm stuck. No way to cancel the order and no parts to rebuild by brakes, so the car just sits. Don't even think about ordering from them. read more

Horrible situation. I ordered what I thought was a brand new bmw module. I install module and every light in the car came on. I open up the module and the whole circuit board is corroded. There is no way this part is new. It looks like its been sitting in the rain forest. I called them and gave them a chance to make it right and they did not. This will be my last purchase from them. Tips: Bring your ID and the credit card that you paid with online. I ordered a genuine Porsche coolant tank ($483 including tax) from AutohausAZ. They sent me a cheap aftermarket tank instead. Their website suggests filling out a customer service request form online rather than calling them. Good luck even finding their phone number, which apparently they man for just a few hours Monday thru Friday. I filled out their online form multiple times before anyone ever acknowledged my inquiries. They emailed me a label to return the tank and I dropped it off at FedEx.. Two weeks later still no acknowledgement of any kind from AutohausAZ despite getting a delivery notice from FedEx. I again filled out their online "Customer Service" form and again got no response after multiple attempts. Today I finally got through on the phone and the agent insisted that the tank I received was a Genuine Porsche tank. It definitely wasn't a Porsche tank - no mention of Porsche on any packaging, no Porsche part number found anywhere, and it came with a cheap black cap. My local Porsche dealership parts guy confirmed it wasn't Genuine Porsche. The customer service agent insisted that was Genuine Porsche but I must be confused because they have changed their manufacturing. That was it for me. I demanded a refund and he said it would take about a week to process. I told him I was going to file a complaint with PayPal and hung up. I guess that got to him because when I went into my PayPal account it had just been refunded. So now my car has been sitting for two weeks due to Autohaus' incompetence and I have to order the tank from somewhere else. read more

I paid for standard shipping and expected to get it in a couple days but they sent it priority mail instead. I have always been impressed with their quick response and quality of parts. I called customer service as I was sent the wrong part. The agent spent more time blaming me for the mistake than helping to make it right. He claimed I marked 2002, rather than 1998, (?), (from 98 to 02 the part is interchangeable). Then he claimed the Autohaus web page, (and part), I'm looking at as we are speaking did not exist! When I asked him his name he hung up on me. Then I call the 800 number... Waited an hour, then it hung up on me. Needless to say I won't be back and I'm stuck with a part that is not even close to what I need and was way to expensive for what it was. read more

Terrible company. I ordered a rear passenger tail light replacement kit and two light bulbs. I paid $34.00 for two day shipping. Standard shipping is free. The light bulbs were shipped in time, but the replacement kit was shipped five days later. They would not offer a refund, even though they made the mistake by shipping parts separately.
