We understood that identity verification was required and provided the requested documentation. One of the documents was a phone bill that had been paid and updated that same day, but instead of explaining the policy respectfully or offering any alternative solutions, he was callous and unwilling to help. His attitude made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers. The interaction left me feeling that we were not treated fairly. While I cannot speak to his intentions, I left feeling as though prejudice may have influenced the way we were treated. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect, dignity, and professionalism regardless of who they are. If the documentation did not meet Enterprise's requirements, that could have been communicated professionally and with courtesy. Good customer service means treating customers with respect, even when they have to decline a rental. I hope Enterprise reviews this interaction and provides additional customer service training so that future customers are treated fairly, respectfully, and professionally.

My quote included "unlimited mileage" (see attachment) and the reservation summary that I signed also included a $0 charge for mileage (see attachment). As I mentioned, I also talked to one of AutoMax's employees in person and told her our trip was to Yellowstone. However, a week before our trip, when I called to confirm the reservation, I was told they do not offer unlimited mileage to my destination. I brought up the quote, reservation summary, and discussions with the employee but AutoMax would not honor their agreement. Any reputable business would have accepted responsibility and tried to fix the problem, however, AutoMax showed no willingness to rectify the situation. Their poor communication, mediocre customer service, and unprofessionalism almost cost our family a once-in-a-lifetime trip. Had I not called to confirm, I would have been charged close to $2,000 in extra charges upon return. I understand people make mistakes, but I also believe a business should do what's necessary to fix an issue that they have caused. If you use AutoMax, get everything in writing and confirm your agreement early and often.

The car needed service and to top it off they charged me an extra day for drop the key in the drop box 10 minutes late. Maybe if I didn't have to make sure I could find a safe location to park everywhere I went because my doors didn't lock I would've make it 10 minutes early.
